The Luxio let out a battle cry and she swatted a forepaw at the bone, halting it's momentum and knocking it out of the air. It hurt her paw a little, but she'd been through worse. She charged at the Marowak, feigning to the left before jumping to the right, trying to slash it with her tail as she raced by it.

The electric type let out a sharp yelp as the attack hit her flank. She paused for but a moment before springing at the Marowak again, this time using Night Slash. She slashed her claws at the enemy Pokémon, a dark aura coming from them instead of the familiar spark of electricity.

Noticing what he was trying to do, the Luxio silently braced herself, knowing she was too close to him to stand a real chance of dodging. Although it didn't hit her as hard as it could've, the Double Edge attack still stung quite a bit. Fuse stumbled back from the impact, narrowing her eyes at the Marowak. This guy probably had her beat, not that there was any way she'd admit it. She moved back a bit further, wanting to put some distance between her and the enemy, trying to go on the defensive and counter his next move.

"Heh, thanks Blastoise." Fuse panted as she backed away. "Man, I hate fighting ground Pokémon..." She muttered as she padded up to the edge of the ship, just to check that the Marowak wasn't punching a hole in the ship down there or something. She seemed rather unconcerned as she noticed he was struggling to swim, glancing over at Blastoise. "I don't think he knows how to swim. You want to help him?" She decided to alert him to it, although she wasn't going to shed a tear over it if he decided not to help. Maybe it would send a message to the rest of his followers to bug off, and besides, they were obviously up to no good back at the temple. The main downside, in Fuse's perspective, was that Cheese could guilt trip them over it if he found out.

"This is how we're repaid for saving you, huh..." Fuse couldn't help but give a brief laugh despite herself. It would've been satisfying, and saved them a lot of trouble, to just let this moron drown. Then again, she couldn't expect him to be too grateful, seeing as how they had knocked him into the sea in the first place... ah well, no time to think about that. Knowing she wouldn't be much use against the ground types, Fuse pushed her way past the battling Pokemon and scrambled up to the crow's nest. She had a plan, but she'd need some high ground.

Luke once again was struggling against the ground types, but now was facing them at full side. He was mainly trying to hold them off.

The Luxio was panting slightly as she reached the crow's nest. "Just keep focusing, Star." She urged the Victini, narrowing her eyes at the battle below. Another upside to this plan was that she could defend him if any of their enemies got the bright idea to try attacking him. What Fuse did next was zero in on the limited number of Pokemon that weren't ground types - namely a handful of Archeops - and launch a powerful Thunder attack after Thunder attack from her perch on the crow's nest. Sure, not all of them would hit, but those that did should've hit the ancient bird Pokemon pretty hard.
