  • Valentine hissed an geeky at Darren, not liking the distraction or physical contact. "I've done everything I can, but seeing as I'm not the king as of now, I can't do as much as I'd like." He explained everything slowly, as if telling a small child. Aria bit her lip to keep from snickering, Val looked over at her and nodded. "Are you hot? There is a new fabric they're making so-" "I'm fine!" Aria cut him off with a strange look.

  • Darren narrowd his eyes. But his attention switched to Aria. He gave her an odd look then turned to Val. "King, speaking of which. When is your little wedding?" He asked teasingly. Chuckling a little. He then looked to the female cat and slowly brought his hand up and brushed his fingers down her ear. "Are you okay?"

  • Valentine flipped Darren off and put a hand on Aria's shoulder. "Just tell me if you change your mind." She looked over at Darren and nodded. "I'm fine, don't worry about it. Just not in the mood to think right now."

  • Darren nodded, he gave Valentine a look but said no more to him. "Alright." With a nimble sigh he strolled along over to a small bench and sat down. His eyes going down and admiring the Phoenix feather.

  • Aria sat down beside him politely and crossed her arms in a protective fashion. Valentine whispered aomething in her ear and then left the two alone. Aria looked over at Darren and smiled, "How've you been treated here?"

  • "The maids and servants don't pay me any mind. Some of the vampire nobles, like Diane try to bite me. And..Lav is bipolar-ish to me. You?" He replied in a small chuckle. Turning his head to face Aria. He wondered Val had whispered to her, but didn't ask. Instead he waited for her answer.

  • Aria flashed a toothy grin. "I'm treated like a show winning kitten. They all pet my hair and squeal in my face." Her eyes grew dark for a moment, "They all think they can just touch me with their filthy hands." Her features softened as she continued, "Val protects me though, treats me more human then they do."

  • "What about me? Do I treat you human? Or am I nuetral?" He asked, now standing up and turning on his heels. He stood in front of the feline and crossed his arms, "why did you kiss my cheek? You did that yesterday as well." Darren asked, Lavidora does the same but it's different with her.

  • "You treat me like an equal, and I appreciate it." She leaned closer to her face and continued, "Cats in general are very affectionate, and you're a very handsome young man Darren. Is it wrong for me to act like I do?" She cocked her head with a sly grin, tail swishing mischievously.

  • His face felt hot as his cheeks grew pale with a hint of rose. "No. Not at all." He chuckled, leaning downward and closing the gap between the two. "You are an attractive young female. And I am very affectionate. So I guess it is not wrong for me to kiss you as well?"

  • Aria smiled and leaned back, "Only if you come to get it." The feline lowered her ears and tilted her head up to show dominance. However all it did was flaunt the scars running down her throat.

  • His brown eyes first focused on her lips, but as she moved they found her exposed scars. He had forgotten she was covered in them. Darren glanced up at her face a smirked, it was a show for dominance. He stood his ground and smirked, "Pity, surely you want it first.." he chuckled. Deciding to fight back.

  • Aria shrugged, "I have 9 lives, I can wait as long as I want." She tucked a strand of tangled hair from behind her ear. "Besides, I have other things to do, like prepare for today's hunt."

  • Darren leaned back. "You have jobs to do? " he smiled widely and recrossed his arms. Staring down at her in slght amazement. "Prepare, for today's hunt. And how will you do that?" He asked. The yearn to kiss her was still in his mind. But he decided otherwise.

  • Aria stood suddenly and stretched, "Well for one I should stop eating Lavi's birds. Can't be full during a hunt." She looked at Darren and smiled widely. "You should totally join us! You can't use natural instinct of course but we have some bows!"

  • Darren tilted his head. "Uhm. Sure. Hunting is always fun." He chuckled, lucky to know he had some knowledge on how to use the bow and arrow. He smiled as he remembered her eating the birds. "I'll meet up with you. I have to tell Lav first though.."

  • Aria smiled, "Whatever you say guy, I gotta go anyways. Need to stretch my legs before we leave." In an instant she morphed into a large crimson feline, with very sharp looking claws. Aria licked Darren's cheek and bounded off through the garden.

  • Darren smiled and started off inside the castle. He glanced around, but decided to check her bedroom first. He strolled down the halls. He saw Diane walk by but luckily he avoided her by slipping into Lav's bedroom. .

  • Lavidora was busy inside the conference room listening to a witch ramble on about how they weren't treated with enough respect anymore. It was evident she wasn't very powerful as her age showed blatantly on her face. The vampire queen tried her hardest to pay attention but found her mind wandering off to think about what a wedding between vampires was. Was she to wear a white gown? Or the normal silk black robes? She sighed sadly remembering her old wedding gown from long ago.

  • Darren peered around the empty room but found no one. He went back to wondering around the halls and stumbled upon a room with the sign, Conference. It was clear that no one should disturb, but he was her companion so he could enter. He quietly slipped inside the room and stood by the door.
