Love stood in the barn, his torbie pelt shining in the moonlight. He wanted love, but no she-cat wants him for love. Why? Love asks himself, Why doesn't any she-cat want young Love for a mate? Love wanted to know the answer. He would find a mate! Whatever it takes! Love thought.
Why don't you love me? [o]

Two golden eyes danced through the field. And a gorgeous she-cats voice was singing something..
"I'm flat broke but...... tail in the air.... hmm hmm hmmmm hmmm hmm hmm..." She hummed. -
Love padded out of the barn. He looked into the eyes of this beautiful she-cat. They were like pools of honey, sweet, sweet honey. They made Love sink into a daydream. It was a happy one of Love licking the golden eyed she-cat. He wished it could come true, but no she-cat ever even talked to him, might as well say yes to being Love's mate. Love sighed and contiued to daydream.
-
Five minutes passed......
"Are you almost done, Mac?" She asked him, one eyebrow raised. Her black fur shone like a black pond with the moonlight on it. -
Love woke up from his daydream to see the she-cat looking at him. But what he heard was questionable. Mac? Was she talking about another cat? If so, he would pretend to be Mac. "Ya, you look faimiliar. Are you my mate?" Love asked the pretty she-cat.
-
"No, Mac. Never met a farm cat before, see? I'm a city cat, catch? Just goin' to the Diner." She replied.
-
"Oh, then, how do you know my name?" Love said, curious.
-
"Oh that's what I call everyone, cat." She answered, obviously tired.
-
"Oh, okay. So, are you staying?" Love asked.
-
She yawned and shook her head.
"I've got to get (Yawwwwn) Singin' at the Diner tonight." She replied. -
"Neat." Love said. "So, do you have a mate yet?"
-
"No, cat. Too much toms in the city. So dangerous, they could die and leave me a widow cat." She shook her head.
"Accompany me to the Diner?" She asked. -
"Sure, I don't have a mate, either. I tried to ask a she-cat, but tey would just walk away." Love said. "By the way, my name is Love, you can call me that."
-
"Well, okay." She said walking away, flicking her tail.
-
Love thought yes, and padded after the she-cat.
-
She hummed again.
-
Love smiled.
-
"Ever had a cheeseburger?" She asked him.
-
"No," Love said, "Only mice, rats, and the occasinal squirrel."
-
"You're in for a good surprise." She said.
