IC: "No. I'm fine." she said.
"Clawdeena!" Eponine's voice called.
The call made Clawdia jump. "I'll be right back." She stood and hurried out the door.
Eponine stood at the front door, the limp body of a tiny baby in her arms. Clawdia gasped at the sight of Eponine with the lifeless infant in her arms. "Eponine... I'm so sorry..."
"No... this isn't your fault. The horses are in the stable. You can take a look at them if you want too. What happened when I was gone?" Her voice was weak and she has shaking.
"Not much. Luke was kicked this morning but that's it."
"Injuries?"
"Yes but don't worry about it."
"It is my job to worry about it, Clawdeena."
"I'm goint out to the stable. I'll bury it if you'd like me to. Take good care of him for me."
Eponine passed the lifeless body to Clawdia to be buried and started up the stairs. She pushed open the door with a shaking hand, medical bag in her other hand. "Clawdeena told me that you were kicked this morning?" She said in a small, shaking voice.

Clawdia buried the infant and went on her way to the stable. She would set aside time in the evening for mourning.
