  • Plot

Layla ran through the dark alleys of London it was all such a maze to her she didn't care that her hair was down and that her dress was torn all she wanted was to escape it and live.

  • ( :) Sure!)

Ciel looks around. They were in the darker days now. There was so much work that the Queen gave him, he didn't know how he'd be able to cope without Sebastian there, but then, he wouldn't tell Sebastian that. He looks up at the silent black haired butler, wondering what he was thinking.

Sebastian kept close to Ciel. It wouldn't do him any good if the boy was to die now. Yes, he wanted the boy's soul, but he couldn't do anything until the contract was complete, which was a real pain. He thought about everyone back at the mansion. The four of them were probably going to sleep now. Of course, he'd told them to stay alert, but it would probably be only Snake who was keeping an eye on things. He never could quite understand how Snake dealt with his pets, and couldn't understand how Snake could understand his pets either... He believed the boy though, since it would be silly not to, after all, he is a demon, and Finnian was a test subject with lots of powers. If he didn't believe in Snake, then he shouldn't believe in Finnian or himself, for that matter.

  • Layla was getting short on breath she whipped around the corner as the dark mangled figure of smoke edged closer. She ran straight into the wall her face smacking it hard making her light headed.
She turned round realising her mistake of turning into a dead end. She would surely be killed.
"...Run...Run Little..bunny rabit....Your time is up"The figure of smoke closed in on her making her cry out in fear.

  • Ciel's head snaps up when he hears the cry. "Sebastian! Let's go!" he says, no trace of fear on his face. His face was completely blank.

Sebastian nods. "Of course, young master." He picks Ciel up, and leaps into the air. He looks around for the source of the cry, and spots a girl. "I think it came from down there." he says, pointing at the girl.

Ciel nods. "Ok. Land on one of the roofs. We'll see better from there."

Sebastian settles on one of the rooftops, overlooking the little alleyway.

  • The spirit got his faded hands and touched her shoulder sending Layla into darkness. Layla collapsed on the floor shuddering but passed out as the figures grin widened "Rabit...to be cooked...Rabit to be clean"He sung

  • Fuming, Ciel takes off his eye-patch, revealing the contract. "Sebastian! Get him, and save the girl!" he growls.

Sebastian leaps into action. He jumps down into the alleyway. "Who are you?" Sebastian asks the spirit. "Why did you do this to the girl?"

  • Sebastian smirks. "Well then, that makes some sense at least. We can say now, that I'm the hunter, and you're my prey" he lunges for the spirit.

  • Sebastian chuckles. His sadistic personality was a little queer. Using his speed and agility to his advantage, Sebastian uses one of the kitchen knives from the manner on the spirit. "How should I carve you up today?" Sebastian muses. "I don't think the young master wanted for me to kill you... probably just injure you until you couldn't move...."

Ciel just watched. There was nothing he could do to help Sebastian, but he hoped the butler would hurry up. He wanted to get the girl back to the manner quickly. "Hurry up Sebastian! I want to get back!"

  • The spirit cowered "A Demon attached to a master. Why I haven't seen it all"He remarked quietly
Looking at his prey "Perhaps you carve into me...But that wont stop my intentions"He snickered
Grabbing the unconious Girls wrist her veins went black and spread to her shoulder...

  • "Save the girl Sebastian! Do it quick! Just get rid of the spirit!" Ciel yells in horror. What was going to happen to her?

Sebastian snarls. "Fine. Since Ciel wants me to get rid of you, I'll just have to kill you in some way!" He lunges again, going at top speed, so he was barely even a blur. He comes up to the spirits arm, and thought of a way to try to get rid of the spirit.

(Just wondering... How did you want your spirit to be hurt? I don't really have any ideas on how to hurt a spirit...)

  • (Spirits are normally Banished...By a spell or some action I honestly don't know either.)
The spirit dropped the girl on the floor and looked into Sebastian's eyes he looked deep and grinned "You don't know...The Demon doesn't Know how to get rid of a measly spirit"Hhe cackled

  • Sebastian grins his usual sadistic grin. He changes, distorting into his true form. "You think I can't make you disappear little spirit?" he booms. "You're nothing to me." Sebastian looks at Ciel, and Ciel nods.

"By any means possible Sebastian!" he says calmly staring at the butler.

Sebastian turns back to the spirit, and began to chant a spell. It wasn't too long, but it wasn't too short either. It was a type of banishing spell that would send the spirit back to the underworld, unable to return to the earth when Sebastian was in his true form. It also indicated that the spirit wouldn't be able to come anywhere near Sebastian or Ciel.

  • The spirit wailed as it got sent home full of rage that he couldn't return to finish of his pray he would find a way to get to her somehow.
Layla was still unconcious and sprawled on the concrete floor

  • Ciel jumps from the roof, and Sebastian catches him, setting him down next to the unconscious girl. "Well, we should get her back to the mansion..." Ciel murmurs. He looks up at Sebastian, covering his eye with his eye-patch once more. "Do you think you can carry the both of us?"

Sebastian nods. "Of course, young master. Didn't I tell you that there's nothing I can't do?" He was annoyed at how Ciel always questioned what he could and couldn't do. He always found the brat irritating, but then, he had a feeling that he was growing attached to the boy too. Sebastian picked the girl up gently, before picking Ciel up.

"Let's go home Sebastian." Ciel murmurs, a little tired. He never showed weakness anywhere, and always acted obnoxious and arrogant, but he was still a little kid, no matter what he did.

Sebastian smiles as he leapt, heading back to the mansion.

  • When at the mansion, Sebastian rested the girl on a soft bed, and began to treat the date mark. There wasn't much he could do, but he could help soothe the pain a little. He looks up at Ciel, who was hovering around anxiously. "She'll be fine." he comments.

Ciel glares at Sebastian. "I wasn't worried for her!" he says stiffly. "I just didn't want her to die on me before I received any information!"
