Matryoshka
A message I've thought much about. Who will it reach? Who could ever say? And indeed I've always been this way. A crazy, patched up....Matryoshka!
Matryoshka silently walked through the snowy forest. Her grey ticked fur was matted, and rough like a thorn bush. Her dark green eyes always narrowed in the darkness. She had a ripped ear. This wolf was not very attractive to many males at the time. Yet she did not fight, as she had a forgive and forget motto.
She stopped, catching sight of a small piece of prey. It wasn’t much but at least it was food. She picked it up in her jaws. She wished she had someone to share it with. Matryoshka sunk her long yellow-white teeth deep into the body of the rabbit she had caught. Yum! It tastes so good! I don’t think I’ve had prey so delicious in a long time! She thought. The meat was juicy and tender like she loved it. “Now that my belly is satisfied I can keep moving.” She gnawed on the last muscle of the rabbit. Setting the bones down, Matryoshka, started to walk again. She had no idea where she was going but she knew it would be important.
