[font=Georgia]Greetings, mortals, my name is Rafael Cornelius Xiphos Hemlock, but you will call me Rafe. My creator, FΛПGƧ, has devised this role-play theme commonly known as a thread with a decent amount of boredom and quite a bit of excitement. Anyways, she has planned for this role-play to be about a mortal, unfortunately for him or her, meet me. The mortal has recently moved to Seattle, and so have I supposedly, no matter how little I like such terrible weather. The mortal and I are supposed to live fairly nearby each other, in an old neighborhood that has very few people in it at the moment. Most of them are abandoned, and barely standing. Perfect place for a vampire, no? We are supposed to become friends, and fall in love, and so on. Yes, we are aware the is a very common plot, but what will make this role-play unique is me. (Yes, you are confused. Continue to read, things will explain themselves soon enough.) She told me to say that this is not private after first post, and that it is open if you find a good place to enter with the mortal.She warns you that you will likely be ignored if you join with little or no plot for yourself. If you are inactive, then pick a role that does not require you to be active, and vice versa. No matter your activity, she insists you must be at least semi-advanced. Now, the following is required of each joiner if you wish to be accepted:

Vampires like Rafe are immortal, and have a super sense of smell, super speed, super strength. to add to this, vampires have extra senses that humans do not have, including a sense that allows them to know if a mortal is lying, can see humans', and are able to sense fear. Also, Vampires, when injured, regenerate at a high speed depending on the severity of the injury. They can sort of hypnotize you as well, if they tell you to do things, humans do it, no matter what. (There may be exceptions for your character if you want.)

Weaknesses-
To kill a vampire in this role-play, can do two things: Number one, cut off it's head, or bleed it out. each can be done with several techniques. To successfully kill a vampire by cutting of its head, you can use only a silver or gold weapon, and the head must be completely detached. To bleed a vampire out, You must stab and or slice the victim with a silver or gold weapon, and leave the weapon there until victim bleeds to complete death and turns to dust. On a side note, vampires do have skin highly sensitive to the sun's rays, and are easily sunburned, but of course heals within days.

Tendencies:
All vampires, have instinct, like humans. As predators, they do have hunting instincts that are rather hard to deny. Vampires like Rafe also instinctively lie to humans to get what they want when they want it, their conscious often has very little power over them. They often lose the need to express their feelings through their body, but more through actions.

Feeding:
The shade of a living soul changes constantly, always lighting and darkening uncontrollably, on a random schedule. In other other words, the shade of the human's soul makes absolutely no difference.This is how a vampire choses its victim, for vampires' souls continually gets darker. Vampires feed on the soul of a human to keep their own souls as white as possible. As their soul gets darker, they get more and more evil. When a vampire bites a human, it does not hurt, unless the vampire wants it to. though vampires are murders and liars the whiter their soul is the more they care, feel, sympathize. The darker the soul is, the less they care and the less they see humans as prey and less as friends, and darker than that, the less they se you as prey and more like an ant. Ever spent an afternoon stepping on ants, destroying their hill, crushing them under your thumb? Fun huh? Once the soul leaves the body of a human it dies in less than a minute. Also, not killing the human they feed from is nearly impossible, for the soul they take from a human is vital.

Likes: “Hmm...I prefer being warm, I am definitely warm-natured, and I love the smell of chocolate...Kids, they have a soft spot in my heart...I enjoy Television, or TV as this generation says, it passes time easily. Antigues, I love antigue shopping and all antiques, especially books, I like to read them and make up stories to fill in missing pages and and things like that. Civilization and maturity also... I am surprised I managed to seem so soft and mushy right there. I sure hope no one quote’s me on that.”

Fears/Phobias: “Hospitals.”
Turn ons: “I do not tend to settle and I am rather picky about things like this. I like a girl who has her priorities straight, and is confident in herself. She needs to be smart, calm, quiet, and kind, organized, straight forward, sensitive, weak, and an all around good girl. As far as looks goes, I prefer brunettes, no taller than I, as well as obvious things such as curves, good smile etcetera ."
Turn offs: “I do not tend to like dumb blondes, or bad girls, the type too brave for their own good. Anyone who likes outdoors, sporty girls mostly, are ok, but we tend to not share interests."
Characteristics: “well, if I were to describe myself in five words, I would say something along the lines of picky, frank, calm, smart, talented. Of course there is much more to me than that, those are only the most protruding. A sixth might describe my dark nature. I tend to be very...unprincipled. About how I do things. wicked. I have been called overly serious multiple times, though all of which by my creator. However I am extremely patient with mortals, because I know they know much less than I, and they can ever fully understand me, which is why I might make no sense to you at times.
