    ValleySong padded to his mate SorrelTail and asked "who's kitting?" ValleySong's medium greed eyes went large with worry and said "I hope no one dies" ValleySong looked at the ground then back at SorrelTail "M-my mother died kitting me and my father blamed it all on me so he left the clan saying he has no need to stay any longer."winced ValleySong.

    "That's terrible!", gasped Sorrektail, and decided not to question ValleySong about their future and kits just yet.

    Whisperpaw sat behind Valleysong. "My mother died kitting me as well."

    Whisperpaw decided she would leave. Kitting always made her sad. It made her think of the mother that was never around. Whisperpaw turned back to Darkpaw to find him gone. "Where did he go?" Whisperpaw followed his scent out into the forest. When she found him, Valleysong was with him. Whisperpaw sat out of sight behind a bush. What does Valleysong want with him?

    "Hey" sighed SorrelTail, glancing at the young she-cat. "Are you alright?"
    She pressed her warm fur against Whisperpaw, comforting her.

    Whisperpaw looked at Sorreltail. "Its nothing. Its just kitting reminds me that it was my fault that my mother isn't here. That's all....Hey Sorreltail what is Valleysong doing with Darkpaw? He's not being mean to him is he?" she asked concerned for Darkpaw.
