    I smiked." You both do babe." I whispered. I looked down at Echo. She barked happily. I smiked, running a thumb along her leg. She wagged her tail, nibbling on my thumb. Brennan soon came back with the food and a bed and some toys. I smiled." Is that all?" I asked.


    "Yeah, that should be enough for now." He said. I nodded, moving over and set the items down in the counter, the lady tarting to ring them up. I took out my wallet to get some money ready. Brennan smiked, taking Echo from my arms. He held her gentky.

    I nodded. I paid for everything, taking the bags and bringing them out to the car. Brennan followed behind me. He took the harness from the bag, getting in the backseat. He then sat in the back, taking the tag off, starting to fit it to fit Echo. The puppy whimpered, looking at Brennan.


    "It's okay girl." he murmured. He then fixed the harness to where it would fit her. She scratched at it with her back leg. I got int the driver's side, waiting for Ares. Brennan blinked, looking over at me. "...Dad? What if the police try to take her away?" he asked. I was silent for a moment.


    "Then I will fight to keep her. Just because she's a wolf doesn't mean she's not our family now. And I will do all I can to keep my family safe and happy." I murmured.

    Brennan smiked." She's great." He murmured sofyly with a smile. He scratched her neck gently as she played with his fingers.


    When we arrived home, I parked the car, getting out and helping Brennan to carry everything in. Brennan soon set Echo down. Echo spotted Ash, moving over to the cat and sniffing her curiously.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;][justify][align=center] Ares wrapped an arm around his son's shoulder, pulling him in for a side hug. After a moment, Ash seemed to grow more bold and approached the puppy, sniffing at her legs with interest.[/fancypost]

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;][justify][align=center]Ash jumped slightly, but trilled in excitement and began to run between Echo's legs. Ares gently wrapped an arm around Scott's waist and pulled him close. [/fancypost]
