  • Name: Virginia Ryder
    Gender: Female
    Age: 18
    Grade: College Freshman
    Major: Biology
    Looks:
Personality: Virginia is the girl who sits in the front of the classroom. She doesn't draw attention to herself which is instantly what makes her so different from all of the other girls. She is down-to-earth and quite intelligent. She hasn't had much luck in the case of relationships, which is a big surprise considering that she has a nice personality. She is pure and doesn't curse, though she puts up with hearing it. She is kind of shy until you get to know her, draw her out of her shell a little. She loves to smile and laugh and she is an old soul. She is kind of in her own little world with her kindness, wishing that the world didn't have to be so cruel, though she isn't a pushover and doesn't take any crap from anyone and won't allow anyone to treat her poorly.

    My first post:
Virginia is sitting in the community college library study with a couple of her friends for an exam. She isn't paying very much attention to the others in the library other than her little group, talking back and forth as they discuss problems and how to work them out intelligently. She suddenly looks up, glancing around silently when her eyes land on your character. She bites her lip and looks back down at her work as if nothing had happened in embarrassment.

Just make a form like mine and reply to my first post. Please be relatively active and have decent spelling.

  • Name: Kyle Lee
    Gender: male
    Age: 19
    Grade: college freshman
    Major: English (Greek mythology)
Personality: He is quiet and anxious when alone which also makes his ADHD act up. When with friends he is fun, hyper, loud, and reckless. He is generally seen as a jerk and a popular guy but that is a stereotype for he is actually caring, nice, over protective, and quite smart when he wants to be.

Kyle sat alone at a table. His friends weren't in this class which left him alone. He chewed on the top of his pencil nervously as he struggled with the biology work. He ran a hand through his hair and bit his bottom lip and put his forehead on the table in frustration. This was not in his level of intelligence. He was more into painting, sketching, and English mainly with Greek mythology.

  • OOC: Accepted
    IC:
Virginia tried to jump back into her work, though she couldn't shake this weird feeling coming from her. She knows the guy sitting across the way from her table, sitting alone, as she had seen him around campus. She glances down at her watch and sees that she's got about an hour before she has to head out and get ready for work. In a failed attempt to refocus on her work, she catches herself glancing over at the student sitting alone.

  • He knew he was failing biology because of this but h couldn't do anything about it. He closed his eyes and kep his head down on the table running his hands through his hair before picking his head back up and looking at the packet in front of him. He sighed and rolled his eyes while tapping his pencil on the table nervously. He felt like he was being watched and looked ahead to see her looking at him. "Hi" He mouthed to her stayin quiet. He knew he saw her before but never talked or met her before.

  • Virginia flushes red when he catches her looking at him. She gives him a weak smile before looking back down at her work, chemistry. After he catches her, she knows that she won't be able to focus on the task at hand, which may be a good thing as a couple of her friends pack up to head to their class.

  • He stood up and walked over to her taking his stuff with him. He sat at the only empty seat which was right in front of her. He looked at her friends as they gave him weird and concerned looks. He knew they were probably wandering why he was there since he was veiwed as a rude person. He looked back to her and put his stuff down putting the packet in front of him. "Um..." He cleared his throat. "By any chance do any of you know how to do this?" He asked referring to the biology packet.

  • Virginia sees the discomfort in her friends body language and she nods slightly, and they all seem to get up simultaneously, "Can I look at it?" She asks him sheepishly as she reaches across the table with an open hand. She is normally the one that people in her class turned to if they need help, which is why she does the study groups, and occasionally she will tutor people if they ask her to do so.

  • He nodded and handed her the packet. "Yea, it's for biology which I am failing." He stated and looked at her biting his lower lip slightly hoping she would help instead of leave because of his reputation. He could see her friends out the corner of his eye when they left. He didn't care that they left, for he knew exactly why they left. He normally would blow of the homework but now that he was failin the teacher gave him a packet as one last chance to bring his grade up.

  • Because she doesn't really know this guy, Virginia usually will wave off rumors and wait for her own first impression before she gives herself a chance to judge someone. Virginia nods to him, taking the packet and withdrawing her arm, "Well I'm a Bio major, so I should hope that I could help you," she says with a slightly nervous smile. She reads over the packet quickly, getting the gist of what he is going over in class before she looks up again. "What's your name?" She asks him, even though his name is on the front of the packet, she thought she would give him the courtesy of introducing himself.

  • He watched her with a slight smile when she said she was a biology major and could help him. "My names Kyle... Kyle Lee." He said while folding his hands a bit and offering a smile. "So whats your name? Do you mind helping me with this?" He asked unsure if she would.

  • She smiles a little, "My name's Virginia Ryder. And I can try to help you at the very least," She tells him, patting the seat next to her so that it might be easier for them to work. She knows that it's hard to get people to ask for help, as their pride often gets in the way, so she rarely turned people down whenever they ask for help from her.

  • He smiled got up and sat next to her. "Thank you." He said as he looked to her then the paper. He folded his paint covered hands as he waited for her. "Biology isn't my thing." He said with a smile thankful that she is gonna help him now.

  • "You're welcome. A lot of people have trouble with it, but I really like it, so I get it," Virginia tells him. She reads over the first question, "Have you read the passages?" She asks him, knowing that most of the answers should be in the passages over the questions.

  • He nodded and watched her read the first question. "Yea I read them. I answered some of the questions but the ones I didn't answer I don't understand." He told her while leaning towards her pointing out the questions he answered.

  • She reads over his answers to some of the questions, "A lot of these are right, but it's easy to get some of the others mixed up, so it's really not a far fetch as to why you got them wrong," She explains. She points out in the text how it can be a bit of a trick question.

  • He listened to her and looked at the trick questions she pointed out to him. "Yea. I guess you can see why I am failing." He smiled to himself and earased one of the questions he had wrong. "Ok so what would this be then?" He asked and raised an eyebrow to her.

  • Virginia shakes her head, "It's an easy mistake to make. Some professors really like to throw those in on exams and stuff," she tells him with a small smile. She explains the question that he asks her about, showing him the correct answer and telling him why.

  • He listened to her every word and they eventually went through each question. He liked how she wouldn't give him the answer but still made it easier to find it. Once they finished he looked up at her after answering the final question. "Thanks for helping." He said with a smile. He ran a hand through his hair in thought. "I owe you now."

  • Virginia gives him a small smile, "You're welcome. I'm glad that I could help," She tells him seriously. She closes up her own books and looks at her watch, "You don't owe me anything. I like being able to help people," She tells him sheepishly.
