[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; color: ; font-size: 7pt; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]Unlike his sister, who had elected to hold a meet-and-greet upon gaining the sentience to do so, Ray had chosen to indulge in more... quiet activities. Instead of seeking out socialization, the silent little child had stationed himself outside of the east temple and busied himself with various childlike endeavors. Namely bullying beetles that had unfortunately crossed his path; with a childlike curiosity he had trapped them between his paws, poking at their shiny black forms.
They were flightless and were stuck in his gentle, albeit forceful grasp; he'd poke at them for a moment, watch them roll onto their backs and struggle for a moment, like turtles did, and then he'd set them free and watch them hurriedly race away.
Needless to say, given the environment, there were a lot of beetles for him to mindlessly toy with. The pudgy child hummed an off-beat tune as he nudged one of the more calm bugs onto his paw, and stared at it with childlike wonder.
