• --pride in what i love, including she-cats

A young female, tortie female with golden eyes, padded around. Her father, the leader of the clan, seemed to be gone and she didn't like him a lot. She had a good relationship with the rest of her family, except for the fact she didn't tell them that she was attracted to other females. It seemed odd to her that one female could love another. The "royal", if she could be called, was annoyed with the way things were in the past couple of days. Weeks, rather than days. Her golden eyes searched for something to do. She had nothing and it was giving her a problem. Solaris, as she was named, would give anything to understand why she was the way she was.

  • Jeopardykit was disappointed that his mother hadn't let him go with Sabrestar and the other cats that had left. Where ever his leader went, he wanted to go, too. Eternity was really his foster mom, not that she cared to reveal the true details of his lineage yet. The cream sable tom glared at the nursery walls, which started to seem more like a hindrance than a saftey as the days passed. He left the den, poking around other places until he saw the she-cat. "Hi!" The kit mewed happily.

"Solaris," she said, "Daughter of Sunkist and, well, Sabrestar."

She didn't want to deal with the fact that her father was the leader of SunClan. It was hard to admit that her father was Sabrestar, but everyone could have known that if they had liked the leader.

Personally, she didn't trust her father.

  • "Oh." Jeorpardykit hadn't thought to include who his parents are. Maybe he should do the same. "My mama's Eternity and my papa, he's, he's..." The kit trailed off with a frown. No tom had ever stopped by the nursery at all ever, not that he could recall. Plus, Eternity had never mentioned their dad to the kits. "I don't know who my dad is." He almost whispered, feeling embarrassed. He was probably better off not knowing, since Damon didn't really love Painpaw. Sometimes being fed lies is better than the truth.

"What's it like having your dad as a leader?" He asked, trying to direct away from his own parentage.

"Not that," she said softly, "Great. Sometimes, I feel he only cares about the other kits."

She turned away from Jeopardykit. Solaris had never really talked to her father ever.

  • "At least you know you have a dad." Jeopardykit commented unhappily. He scuffed the ground with one of his paws, feeling bored of just talking. Kits were meant to play, and not jus talk. He didn't want to stay on such a sad topic, either, and his atttention span didn't stay on the same thing for long.

"Let's play, Solaris!" He waggled his butt in the air and leapt at the other kit, not waiting for her to say if she wanted to or not.

The young she-cat had never really played much before. The young cat rolled over onto her back and looked over towards the tom. She aimed a sheathed paw at Jeopardykit's tail end.
