Callie's thumbs pressed softly against the frayed edge of her black leadrope, tracing over the intricate pattern of the silvered buckles sewn onto the matching black halter. The beautiful, bay Arab, Adagio Strings, was already ecstatically prancing in front of his paddock gate, the strong scent of unfamiliar horses exciting him as it whiffed through his wide, flared nostrils. "Ssh, Calm down mister." She soothes, extending out her hand to pat his neck, but he only spooks away and prances back again, his usual, highly strung persona beginning to awaken. "You silly thing." She coos, slipping through the gates and grabbing his silken mane, restricting him from dancing away.

Adagio swung his head around over his owners neck quickly, straining it high out of reach, his duos transfixed upon multiple horses being led into the barn. He spun in a tight circle, raising his tail, letting out a high, shrill whinny. The sudden tug of his mane forced him to drop his head for a split second, and within that time frame his owner managed to secure him in his halter, and he crab-walked around her and tried to break into a frisky canter as she latched the gate shut, muttering about his silly behavior.
Despite all the new arrivals, Maya didn't lead Hugo out of the pasture. Instead, she was sprawled out over his muscular, dappled back that had it's own décor of silver rosettes speckled with black sprouting of hairs. Her fingertips brushed past his flank and he eventually lifted his chiseled skull and brought it round to his shoulder, his lips fumbling with the tip of her jodhpur boots, snorting out of curiosity. Maya squeezed his withers, just beneath the bone, and as he'd been taught, he extended his neck way out, stretching all the hard to reach muscles. "Good boy." She cooed, rubbing his shoulder. She reach down and slung the teal blue neckrope over his muscular, broad neck and took a light grasp of it, easing him around and allowing him to amble towards the gate.

Hugo swung his neck long and low as she ambled towards the gate, his ears lazily flicking back and forth, his tail sweeping over his rounded hind-quarters. He let out a few, low snorts and pricked up his ears when he saw the other horses, out of interest, not out of pleasure. Soon realizing the new Evergreen year had begun, he raised his head a little, snorting, before he was distracted as Maya leant over and opened the gate, allowing him to slowly pass through.

Luke bit his lip, adjusting his baggy, black hoodie that slung loosely around his fit build. Looking over in the distance, his eyes caught with Maya's as she rode the troublesome brat, Hugo, out the field. He didn't understand how she put up with him. Knowing the students would arrive soon, he sauntered into the luxurious barn and whistled from the entrance, the sudden shifting of hindquarters and a soft nicker in particular made him smile as he approached the chestnut darling in the stall. "Hello, my cheeky monkey." He grinned, rewarding her with a treat, ruffling her forelock.

Flame abruptly swung her mass around as she heard a familiar whistle, shoving her forelegs into the stall door impatiently as Luke approached her stall door, she pricked her ears forth eagerly. Her nostrils nudged at his hoodie pockets before he rewarded her with a treat, and then ruffled her forelock. She stood patiently, her head embraced in his broad arms whilst he picked out wood-shavings from her mane and talked to her quietly, explaining the days events.

Justin leaned against the gate; his thumbs zooming over his iPhone 5S; replying to messages and updating on social media. Donatello was enjoying a thorough roll in the field, directly in the middle, and Justin preferred not to watch as the dirt clung to his once immaculate, obsidian black coat. Once the equine had decided he'd had enough, he scrambled to stand and briskly approached Justin. "Oh, now you want me.." He smirks, greeting him. He gently eased the white halter over Donatello's broad skull and adjusted his forelock before he grasped the worn lead and clucked his tongue, encouraging Donatello to pass through.

Donatello stood quickly, dust misting off his dull, dirty coat and clouding the surroundings. Satisfied, he approached his owner with a smug look and held his skull high, whisking his tail in circular motions as he stared at the new arrivals, more blunt than curious.
