  • This made Rangi more nervous than anything else in his life and all he is doing at the moment is walking with all of his painted companions trailing behind him. Red and Yellow were first in line holding two baskets of flowers the rest held streamers and colorful tapes. Rangi ignored everyone he came across at that moment, he ignored the looks of confusion or his friends cause all he could think about was Rose. He hasn't seen her ever since he came back so he wanted their reunion to stick in to his brain like the moment they met. Everything must be perfect! However, this is not the only thing that is making him nervous, it's the thing that he will do after they meet.

The african wild dog is making his way towards her room cause she is no longer the medic so she won't be in the medic den. Nervous, Rangi walked up to the door and knocked. Looking over his shoulder to his companions, they all, except for Red, smile up at him and give him a big thumbs up to encourage him. Sucking in a deep breath of air, Rangi faced the door again and checked his breath, it's clean and it smells of mountain air, just as the rest of him, he is clean and washed as if he's just about to do something huge!

  • Who knew how long Rosencrantz has waited? Weeks? Months? Years? She did not know, in fact it had gotten to the point where she didn't even really care any more. Some say that you only live once, but Rose would agrue that there was no point in 'living' when she could not have that which made 'life worth while. The albino wolf was quite simply a shadow now, a thing that exsicted but was not controlled by her won energies. What was the point when all that she had once held dear had been striped from her? What was the point in fighting without a cause?

They said he was gone. Dead. That the African Dog that she had once loved would not be returning. She had been waiting by the door of her room all that time, not opening it for a single soul. The day that they last spoke, he promised that he could come for her that they would meet. But he never came, and Rosencrantz never opened the door.

In truth, she did not know what to believe anymore. Her mind told her that all the others were right, that Rangi was dead and so too their bond but yet, at the exact same time her heart bleed still and urned for him. She had always thought that if he were to leave the earth that she would too. Yet that day had not come and glimmer of hope still remained.

Like so many times before there was a knock at the door. She suspected that it would be Lady pleading to her to come out and fill the forever empty medic position, or simply someone bashing against it in a rush to get some place else so of course, she gave no anwser. World weary, the lonely wolf simply say slumped against that door, eat to the wood and eyes staring vacantly at the ceiling above. If it were death, he'd be welcome but life without Rangi she would reject in an instant.

  • Rangi waited, and waited for the door to pull open, for him to see his love and get the air blown out of him, but nothing happened, not the slightest sound escaped from the room, not even the squeak of the floorboards. The african wild dog just stood there for minutes wondering if she is even inside. The painted hares standing behind him started to worry, and so they looked from the door to the african wild dog, wondering why he isn't doing anything but just looking at the door like a dummy. However for Rangi, it's been a turmoil. What if she isn't inside? Did something happen to her? Maybe he should have asked Avorio! He hesitated cause if he opened the door and found out that nobody is inside what will happen to him? The mere though sends shivers down his spine.

With a sigh, Rangi lifted his front paw and gently touched the door, as if it would break if he put too much pressure. Leaning in, he whispered ever so tenderly with his thick Swahili accent overflowing his syllables "Rose? Are you inside? It's me...Rangi" He was afraid to push the door open cause a empty room might just shatter him. Clenching his eyes tightly he awaited to hear a response, anything that will show him that the wolf was still alive and alright. Anything.

  • It felt as if the silence would carry on forever, but that was nothing to be surprised about. Rose knew that she was most likely just another member of the clan, that she would have been forgotten by now by those that she had once called clan mates and friends. That moment of hope had now faded, there was no bright possibility of being found by the one thing that made her world light, not now. So, the lonely wolf remained by that old wooden door with not a clue as to what was going on on the other side of it.

Then something happened. In fact, a sound happened. She heard a slight shuffle as if someone was approaching the door again. It could just be Lady she told herself, it would surely not be the one that she had hoped and prayed would return to her, it couldn't be. Why would it be?

"Rose? Are you inside? It's me...Rangi"

All in a moment, Rosencrantz's blood ran cold as if she had heard the voice of a ghost. She had to be mistake, though she knew that there was no way that she could possibly be wrong. That voice, to her was a like a lullaby. The ever calming melody of her heart, yet her mind simply would not believe its existence. But, it was Rangi? Wasn't it? Her heart questioned, as her body shifted a little so that she was looking directly at the door. Maybe her the shadows or even death were playing tricks on her again and he was still lost to her but she didn't really care. It was his voice and that was good enough, who ever used it now. She didn't go to open the door but instead pressed her forehead against it so that if it weren't for the door then they would be looking directly into one another's eyes. "Please..." The wolf whispered weakly, a frail plea to fate to bring back her one and only loved one as tears streamed from her heavy blue eyes.

  • ( :o Intruder alert! Get the bug spray! ;))

Again, nothing happened, only a empty scream greeted his whisper. For a moment Rangi panicked, if Rosen isn't inside then where is she? Is she still in the Skulls territory? Did something happen to her? His mind raced with all kind of thoughts, most of which made his heart ache and the air ti hitch in his throat. He shouldn't have left, he is a idiot for leaving Rose alone here! Rage now took over his body as he clenched his teeth and lowered his paw from the door. What kind of mate is he? Selfishly leaving her without saying a word, he should have told her why he is leaving.

With saddened eyes, the african wild dog turned to walk away but then, the slightest of sounds coming from behind the door caught his attention. Rangi's ears shot up and he snapped his head to look back at the door, eyes wide with hope. He slowly creeped back towards the door, afraid that if he moved too fast he would scare whatever creature is inside. Standing only a few inches from the wood he listened, hoping to hear a noise again.

    "Please..."

It's barely a whisper but Rangi managed to catch it, like a plea it reached in to his heart and gripped tightly almost choking him. He did this to her, it's because of him that she is hurting like this and Rangi wanted to beat himself senseless at this moment. He doesn't deserve her, she is too caring for him, too kind. Gulping down the ball in his throat he leaned in and pressed his forehead on to the door, a thin layer separating them.

"Rose I'm sorry...I'm so sorry for leaving you, It will never happen again." He gulped "I promise to cherish you, to love you so please...open the door" He wanted to break it down and pull her in to a tight hug, to kiss her and tell her that everything would be fine, but he decided not to, he would only hurt her.

  • Something moved again, there was a sound of life from the other side of the door. Surely a spirit or a demon would nt make any noise, they wouldn't really be there so they could make no sound but complete silence. But this was real, the sound of paws on wood, of a living creature. And then his scent came to her through the wood. That strong musk that could unmistakably be that of Rangi Mahali dispite all the impossibilities that surrounded this moment. Her eyes widened to the point where anyone might have thought that she had seen a ghost as she padded back away from the door, her glare locked on his or at least it would be if it weren't for the barrier.

She didn't know what to do now, what to say, what was she meant to do? Of course there was definite relief within her being but a deep pain also infected her heart and mind now. He had left her, without a word, without even a sign. They were meant to be mates, weren't they? They were meant to be together, for as long as they both lived? Yet it was like he betrayed that and now for the first time in her life she was feeling anger too. Anger toward Rangi and that she could not cope with.

Moments as long as hours past and still she stood stock still, her heart bleeding. It was only when his voice came again that her trance was broken. There was pain in his voice too, he was wounded by grief as much as she was. Was it possible that he had missed her too? That he regretted all of this? As these questions spun around her head all ill feeling toward the African dog disappeared into a cloud of the past. With a moment of peace she placed her forehead back on the door, looking down at the floor below. "It's-It's really you...isn't it?" She had to ask though no pause was given for an answer.

After a moment or two she backed off again then pulled herself up, using with her maw turned the handle. The door slid open by itself and she looked out through the little slight between it and the frame. The wolf herself must have been as shaggy as Rangi had ever been, her fur long now and unkept in anyway. Yet two ever perfect blue eyes stared into some of the most brilliant firry Orange and she knew, Rosencrantz knew that he had come home to her. That this was the real Rangi Mahali. That this was not some trick of the light again. Yet all she could do was stare, unblinking, not even moving a muscle. The world stood still and all of time paused as they met once more in that dusty old corridor.

  • (God dam! Your muse is killing me :o :P)

It seems that the silence is the only thing that would greet him today. But he continued to wait and wait, he needed to make things right and he will not leave until he can hold her and kiss her, to show her that it is him and that he will never leave her again. His heart ached for her, for her scent, for her touch, for her voice, for the breath of her air on his cheek and for her gentle caresses. He missed Rosen and all this time apart from her felt like a lifetime away. And then he heard her voice, as gentle and sweet as he remembers it to be.

    "It's-It's really you...isn't it?"

It send tremors though his being and goosebumps to rise, he felt renewed as if he wasn't living before and her voice brought him back. It's all the push he needed to feel hopeful again and so a bright wide smile grew on his lips. Then, he heard the click of the handle and the door slowly opened, like in slow motion, like a build up leading to the most breathtaking sight that he will ever see. However, he is greeted with a broken and shambled sight. Rosen, his love, is thin, and her gorgeous fur thrown all over, messy, unwashed. His smile quickly melted away in to that of concern. He did this to her, he made her depressed, he made her broken. Rangi just stood there and stared at her, too shocked to move. Her brilliant blue eyes are now dimmer, cloudy with sadness and tears, it made his heart break to see her like this. Then, he quickly moved towards her with a need and a goal. Strongly pushing the door wide open with his paw he will then pull her in to a tight hug, his front legs tightly wrapping around her neck and burying her head in to his shoulder "I'm so sorry." he whispered in to her ear and will gently lick it "I'm so sorry" he repeated as if those three words could make everything better, but Rangi knew that there is no ignoring the fact that he left her and he would be fine if she pushed him back and told him that she never wanted to see him again, she had the right, though if that happened he would be broken.

Rangi tightened his embrace and pulled their bodies closer together. He said nothing else, just stayed like that, awaiting for her reaction.

  • (Haha, I don't know it just sort of happen :D )

There he was, flesh and bone. Life gushing out of every pore. For a moment she felt guilty, so very guilty for thinking that he had been dead, that he would have left her like that but on the other hand, he had. Rangi had gone away to be who knows were and now that he was back? Rosencrantz just didn't know what to do, how to react. She continued to just stand there, staring at him as if he weren't there at all.

Even when he crossed the floor, coming toward her with all the life in his soul he had ever had, she did not move. In fact it was only after the first touched, when his arms wrapped around her neck and brought her close did she react and tucked her head deep into his shoulder. The warmth that had always been there remained, the soft fur covering her her maw and the grip tight so that her eyes remained buried as well. Rosencrantz found herself sniffing at him a little, taking in his musky yet unmistakeable scent. Oh how she had missed it, maybe that above many other things. In fact she had taken his blanket from his own nest into her room and now it lined hers. When it lost his scent and it was replaced by hers that was when she truly broke and now, here she was. This was what was left of Rosencrantz. It had been the only thing left of the African dog, all that she, his mate had of him. Not even the army of colored rabbits had been left behind. Sometimes the sting of that thought hurt too much, the fact that he had gone with them but not her. Maybe one day she would ask why but he seemed to feel guilt and that was enough for her when until now all she had wanted to know was where he was.

His words were so soft, his voice so perfect. She even listened to his heartbeat which to her was like a sweet lullaby after such a long time filled with only pain. It was the happiest Rosencrantz had been in what felt like centuries yet at the same time sadness still plagued her. Her tongue licked at him too, just gently, every so often when she couldn't bare not doing so any longer but mostly she just enjoyed being held again.

  • Rangi smiled, his lips spread and spread until the most joyful and happy smile that has ever grazed his maw appeared. She held him back and even licked him too. Rangi felt like he is flying on clouds, her scent is intoxicating him and her warmth is like a lifeline, keeping him alive. This is it, this is what drives him to move forward, what keeps him together, not even the voice in his head can ruin this moment. Then, after what seemed like an eternity has passed, Rangi pulled back from the hug and as soon as he did he missed the contact but he endured it cause he needed to tell her something. Looking her in her blue pools, he smiles wide and says in his deep voice "You look even hotter now" he chuckled trying to brighten up the environment.

And then he got serious, his smile melted away and his whole demeanor changed in to that of a severe man with a purpose in mind.

"Rose, I went on a journey to find something, something that is suitable of your beauty..." he looked behind him to the last rabbit in the line which was, of course, Blue. The little critter took the look as his cue and he quickly scurried up the line to stand next to the african wild dog, a small aqua box tied on to his back. Rangi undid the red ribbon and took the box in to his paws before facing the wolf in front of him again, his smile returning on to his face as he held the small box in front of him and towards Rose.

"I have found this in a cave buried on a top mountain, it took me all this time just to dig it out" he chuckled. And then, he took a knee, well at least he tried cause let's face it when you are a four legged animal it's kind of hard to knee on one of your hind legs but he tried. Rangi has picked up reading picture books and saw that this is how humans did it so he went for it. And so he looked up at her with his bright golden eyes, filled with hope but at the same time fear.

"Rose...will you do me the honors of becoming my bride-mate?"

He opened the small box and inside is a golden ring with a small Benitoite stone shining, a bright and vivid bluish purple gem that is one of the most expensive minerals out there, it's really rare and Rangi had to go all the way to California, the only known mine just to find it, don't ask him how he managed to fly to California, he has his mysterious ways. And now he waits for her reaction, part of him wants to close his eyes and clench his teeth, like awaiting for a explosion.

  • To her, Rangi was like the sun. Warm, bright, his touch nothing less than golden and Rosencrantz didn't like the cold. Das they held eachother now she was reminded of the bond that they shared, that beautiful attraction that that they had for each other. But in the recent months Rosenxrantz found that it was so much more than that. She could not live without him or find a path for herself. The wolf had always thought that she was independent and that she didn't need anybody else, that was until Rangi came bouncing into her world all smiles and happiness.now she needed him more than ever and did not what him to let go.

All too soon, he did though and Rosencrantz felt as if she had been sent adrift again. Her understanding of the moment lead her to believe that something was wrong and that maybe he did not want to be close to her like this any more; maybe time and distance had changed him in that sense. She barely lifted her head or looked him in the eyes he spoke, in fact she would have blushed if it were possible. Rosencrantz knew that he had come back to a very differant mate and that a lot has changed in terms of her physical appearance. She hoped that wasn't the problem and he was just trying to hide his concern with compliments.

But then he began his story and explaination. The tale that told her where he had been all of this time. At first she wondered why the mood had changed and why he had lost his smile so she looked up a little bit more as if something in his eyes would tell her all that she desired to know. Apparently he had gone on a journey somewhere. To find something for her. She guessed what ever it was lay hidden in Blue's little box but yet again, she still felt as if a lump of coal would be more beautiful than her at the moment. He went on and the realisation came to Rosencrantz to say that he had really gone all out to find what ever this gift for her was. That she must really mean something to him if he were to risk his life up in the mountains to aquire this.

In the next moment Rosencrantz got truly confused. Rangi was bending down, in fact getting onto one knee. She had never thought of anyone doing such a thing before and didn't understand, even then, why he was doing so when it had to be hard for him

All that she needed to know was revealed in the moment. He uttered beauty and Rosencrantz heard bird song. Rangi was asking her to Marry him? That did t make any sense for second and she just stared at the wonderful gem that was the color of the night. She was in shock to all intents and purposes. But something calmer in her mind knew exactly how to handle the situation and that was her heart.

"Yes..." She said simply before she had even realised what she had said. It was enough to bring the rest of her body around to the moment and then she looked back up into beautiful Rangi's eyes. "Yes...of course..." And with that she lent forces again, craving his touch now more than ever and gently she licked and nuzzled at his maw so he would know her love.

  • (GAH! i'm back in to my semi-advanced mode ::))

Rangi was overwhelmed with joy as soon as he heard her answer and felt her light kisses on to his maw. Taking her left front paw he will put the ring on to her finger and step back a little, simply admiring her beauty. It doesn't matter that her fur is raggedy, that her body is thin, that her eyes are dim, to him she is just as beautiful as the day they met, it's the kind of beauty that only his golden eyes can catch. "I'm so lucky to have you" he whispered, more to himself. Then, without a warning, Rangi will pounce at her to give her a hug once more and to give her butterfly kisses all along her muzzle, neck and chin. Then the rabbits bust out in joy as well, well besides Red of course, taking the flowers from their baskets and throwing them over the lovely couple, jumping all around them in a chaotic cluster of colors. Rangi laughed out loud at his friends antics and looked back in to those blue pools that he has learned to love so much "How would you like to announce it to the Clan?" he chuckled slightly and will give her a few more licks.

  • It was almost as if Rangi was now just one bundle of love now that they were to bonded together. She had never really thought of marriage, just because she had never found anyone that she thought would want to marry her. But now, Rangi seemed like the only person in the world that matter. He was the sun and the moon to her. She would always follow him home. Soon they would be inseperable and Rosencrantz would ever have to worry again.

What took her by surprise though, was how quickly he changed from his most gentle of kisses to the pounce that knocked her backwards, leaving her rolling on the floor in a fit of giggles. His tender kisses continued but like this they felt so much differant, like a strange awakening within her heart and body that she didn't know how to explain. Maybe one day, they would explore it further but for now she enjoyed his playfulness as the petals of many colors fluttered and flittered around them until they carpeted the ground beneath them.

With love and passion in her eyes she looked up into Rangi's and saw his emotions in equal measure. From this she concluded that nothing could break them, not now, not ever. Both seemed to really want this. With a sigh she listened to the question, considering it for a moment before shrugging. "I-I don't know...However...I'm not good ash standing and talking..." She whispered softly though it was probaly a good bet to say that he had already guess that because they had known eachother for a while now.

  • Rangi chuckled at her answer and couldn't resist giving her one more kiss on the tip of her nose. Oh gosh! She is just so adorable! Rangi wanted to squeal out lout and hug her so tight until she melts in to him. He also hasn't felt like this towards anyone, it's like he's a prisoner to her breathtaking marble eyes, to her sweet scent, to her soft fur that gently caresses his cheeks, to the warm breath of air that escapes from her nose, to her welcoming lips and to her taste, he felt captivated by all that is Rose. Rangi felt in his heart that what he did is the right thing to do, this way they will be bonded even more and nothing could ever separate them. Yes, this is what his heart desires, her and only her.

Lying on top of her on the ground he lovingly look in to her eyes. The Sun and the Ocean clash again, the Moon and the Sky, as if the forces are pulling them together and nor Rangi, nor Rose could ignore them let alone protest to their powerful pull, not that Rangi would protest them. Leaning in he gently licks her lips and pulls back a playful smirk resting on his maw

"I know that you aren't good with public speeches" he chuckled softly "Don't worry I'll do all the talking you just show up and be beautiful, I can't have my trophy wife looking all shambled" he teased with a devilish grin on his face. Looking over to his hares which have ran out of flowers and are now standing around them "Yellow and Purple can help you get that coat cleaned if you want...I mean, they are the ones who clean mine" He laughed to which Yellow and Purple only puffed. Rangi doesn't know that getting his coat clean is like battling a large sea monster and the two hares are usually exhausted after getting rid of all the leafs, twigs, dirt and blood out of his mangled fur.

(Here is the announcement thread :D
    http://warriorcatsrpg.com/index.php?topic=1984248.new#new)

  • Rosencrantz didn't need to ask to know what he was doing. It was like he was explore ring her all over again, as if they needed to get to know eachother once more. Or maybe reawaken those sensual delights that they had lost when they had parted company. She had missed these most presious moment when they could be (at least almost) alone and free to enjoy each other as they wished. Neither held any secrets, not any more and soon they were to spend the whole of life together. What could be more special than that in all of reality? She lay there peacefully, letting him lick and nuzzle her all he wanted while she mimiced the movements upon his warm neck.

Even as he spoke she only giggled and continued to play softly with him. All movements seemed to send sparks ip through her mind and body like nothing she had ever before. They were harder to ignore and even harder to understand but knew, just through instict, that maybe Rangi might help her do so. But for now the wolf nodded, looking up at the hares standing not far from them. "As long as they don't mind...I hope I'm really not as bad as him...I know what you must find in there and I do try and avoid them...but thank you...it would be of great help" she told them softly with a gentle smile for them both which she shared also with Rangi.

  • Rangi quickly jumped up on his paws "Nah! Of course they don't mind don't you girls?" He looked at Purple and Yellow and the two females nodded their heads...as long as it's not Rangi they are happy do clean anyone. "Well then, I'll leave you girls to your thing" He looked back at the hares "And I expect you to bring her back in to her former beauty" He playfully winks at them and looks back to his mate "Oh! After they finish, meet me at the ballroom...and after that maybe we can go for another picnic or a walk" He smiled

  • Rosencrantz sat up and rolled over so she was looking directly at the two painted hates that stood before her, a gentle yet quite shy smile on her face even though she knew full well that that the hares were actually like extensions of Rangi himself. "Well, I suppose..." She murmured softly, just wanting to make sure that all was well with the two hated before they started. She hated the thought of the. Going something they didn't want to. Then Rangi spoke agai and she looked over curiously before smiling. "Of course I'll come and meet you..." Rosencrantz assured him beforeaying low to let the hated get at her.

  • He smiled and just stood at the doorway in silence, simply observing his mate and her beauty. His goldenrod eyes traveled from her delicate paws, up her long legs to her fluffy chest going over her long nose and finally ending at her ocean blue eyes. He just can't get over the fact that she is his and he is hers, I mean what does she see in a mangy mutt like him? Rangi doesn't dare ask that, he's just happy that she feels the same way that he feels for her. "Oh I forgot!" he banged his forehead and jumped towards her, picking up the ring that fell on the ground during their tussling. Lifting it up in his paw he will grab on to her left front wrist and lift her leg in the air, putting the ring on to her finger. The ring is not a circle it has a more elongated construction, more like a ellipse so that it fits perfectly on to a dogs finger. He will then give her one last lick to her cheek and step away "Don't lose that now my bride-mate" He will playfully wink at her and turn around to exit singing bird songs as his hips sway in joy. The male rabbits, and Violet, quickly jumped after the african wild dog while Purple and Yellow stayed behind to do their female magic.

  • The moment was shared. As he stared at her, Rosencrantz gaze was taken by the hound who stood, strong, bold, proud and above all beautiful in the door way just before her. Soon they would be together in matrimony. That was so unbelievable. Until today the wolf had never thought that anyone would want to share that with her. Life would no longer about her, it would be about them. 'I's would turn to 'we's. two souls would become one. She was only stunned out of shock by his sudden and unannounced call. The wolf jumped and looked around worriedly until he explained all by punting the jewel on her finger. Gently she licked his cheek as he did the same before standing back with a smile. "I won't, don't you worry..." She reassured him before both parted with love bright in their hearts.
