[size=11pt][font=times new roman]Finally.
It had taken her ages to scrounge up the materials from scratch; this place was abysmally void of herbs and the like, and she'd spent hours just searching for what she needed.
She'd had to make her own censer; a pitiful little thing, just an old mason jar, nothing like the golden engraved one she'd had back home. The white candles had been easy enough to find, since it was fairly common for campers and such to use them, and the process of making a crude display of the Goddess's visage had been tedious, but not impossible.
The entire makeup for a home protection spell was lined up before her, against the wall of her tent. Perhaps it was a wee bit of a fire hazard, lighting nine whole candles inside of such a small space, but it was a home protection spell, was it not? It should be cast inside of her home, not matter how dismally small (and coincidentally flammable) it was.
The little doe gingerly picked up a match, holding it between her teeth. She had gotten the routine down; it was fairly hard striking a matchstick with only a pair of hooves and teeth, but she'd done it nine times over- she could do it again.
The scent of burning rosemary soon filled the confined space after a minute or two of Sleep trying to light the incense, but it was lit now, and that was all that mattered.
Now all she needed was a... mirror. Shit, she'd forgotten about that.
Worriedly glancing at the still-burning line of candles, the tiny witch poked her head out of her tent, a fretful expression on her delicate features. "Does, um, anyone have a mirror?"
