Krypt
gender: Male
age: 24 years

backstory:
Krypt was orphaned at a young age but somehow didn't get caught when he was a thief. As he grew up, he eventually went up the ranks of the thieves' guild. After a while, he found that being a simple master of thieves was too boring, and became a rogue instead, hiding and steal from wealthy travellers who passed by on the roads. He became angry that all these wealthy people had so much, yet people growing up like he had so little. So he began a rebellion that almost everyone joined and he became their general.
The only problem is, when they planned to tear down the king from the throne, they couldn't have expected the backlash from the regular people who had lead peaceful and loyal lives under the king for so long. The rebellion was cut down so quickly that those who had survived were easily picked out of crowds as being traitors. Punishments varied depending on how high up in the rebellion order they had been; so Krypt got the worst of it all.
Not only did he lose his freedom to the chains of servitude, but he was forced to serve his life sentence under the very people he had sworn to bring down. The king's family, who for all he thought, were evil people.

PLOT:
Little did he realize that he was to be shown to be very, very wrong in his assumption. YOUR CHARACTER is the king's daughter. At first, Krypt will be awful to her and anyone he perceives as being a threat to his freedom. Very often, he will be locked away because of his outbursts of frustration. Eventually, he will begin to break.

IC-
Crypt couldn't yell from his dungeon cell anymore, his voice hoarse and throat raw. He had been cursing and trying to break free from the bars for hours now only to end up being bruised from all his attempts. The soldiers and prison guards had only taunted him and laughed more at his 'feeble' attempts to break free, causing his pride even more damage.
"I am the master theif," he spat out under his breath to himself. "I am the shadow of the forest. I will not be broken by some high-class, snot-nosed, aristocratic royalty!"

• Yup! Just do a character bio like above and continue the story :)

• Name: Lilian
Age: 21 years old
Looks:
History: She was raised to rule. She was taught by the highest level tutors available and grew up in luxury and has always been well off. Her mother and baby brother died when she was younger, but she does not speak of it to anyone and now has a new stepmother who is expecting a child.

(Brief I know, but hard character to explain.)

Footsteps could be heard as a small blonde with pericing green eyes wearing a maid uniform walked towards his cell a very large a stoic looking black haired male stood directly behind her with a ragged clothes on. The maid rolled her eyes as she unlocked the cell door with a large ring of keys. "Well ya aren't in the forest and you're too loud to be a simple shadow." She stated and looked him over for a moment. Stepping aside the massive male stepped in and glared at Krypt daring him to try something. "Listen I'll make this short. We've got ten minutes to get your hinnie upstairs. So if you aren't a pain we all walk away without getting a beating." She explained briefly tapping her foot. "Easy way or hard way?"

• He tensed and glared at the pair. "Don't talk to me like that! What are you? No royalty, I can tell that. Don't you have any heart towards your fellow low-borns?" He said to them. "Of everyone, i would have expected that the people closest and hardest pressed under the royals' thumbs would have sympathized with the rbellion's cause."

• She sighed and shook her head as she looked at him. "Listen I can sympathize and may have even supported it at one time, but the rebellion was squashed like a bug and those who were involved along with it. I'm going to level with you this isn't a job I like, but it pays." She stated and sighed as the man behind her out a hand on her shoulder. "There's a risk we can loose more than our jobs so can you just get up the stairs so that all three of us can stay alive?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

• Krypt looked at her, but the the anger at her was slowly going away. "Eugh! Fine. But this doesn't change anything," he told them strictly as he stood up. He looked at the man. "I'm just going to... Stay alive and keep you alive like you said. I have no quarrel with you in particular." No... It was throyals and those in pwer that he was fighting. He just had to focus on that.

• The women gave a small sigh of relief. She didn't have much time for arguments over who's side they are on. "I will believe you, I don't care what you do as long as it does not risk the lives of those who don't wish to risk it." He mumbled and the maid quickly shooed them out. Like before they are short on time and don't really have time for chit chat either. "Come on now." She said quickly and started to lead to way the large man taking up the rear.

• Crypt go up to his feet and followed, keeping a good pace as he was led away. "What is this all about anyway? If it's about setting up an execution date, then you can be pretty sure that I will be out of here in seconds flat if need be." he growled under his breath. As a theif, he had learned to be resourcesful and as a rogue, cunning. They had been his most useful assets as a rebellion general.

• "They wouldn't send unarmed servants to get you for execution." The maid muttered ascending the stairs. "You were sentenced to be a servant to royal family. The King won't execute you unless he can't break you." He explained rubbing forehead. "If he can break you he can break anyone." The male finished as they reached the top of the stairs and the maid nodded to the stationed guards who unlocked the door and they proceeded down the hall.

• Krypts immediate response was to ignore the threat until it registered in his head exactly what that would entail. His mouth gaped for a moment after they had stepped down the hall. Then he growled, his voice rising again. "What?! No! I refuse to do that!" he said passionately. "I will not break dammit!"

• The maid turned to glare at him when he raised his voice. "Alright that isn't something you have to say to us. Our orders were to get you up here and put you to work. This big guy is going to be your shadow to make sure you don't try and escape." She mumbled. The man rolled his eyes. "Listen proclaim that all you want, but your going to have to have some walk to back up that talk." He stated and shrugged.

• Krypt paused and looked back at the large man behind him. "Oh I will. And when that happens, no one will know what hit them." he ground out. "After all, I can bide my time. I can steal things. I was the the master thief after all." He grinned cockily.

• He nodded like he didn't really believe that. Where exactly would he keep anything he stole? He would still be stuck in the castle. "And I'm a guy who has a job to get done thank you." He said shaking his head. "Since you'll be stuck with us near by I'm Mae and the giant is Tanner." She said nodding slightly when suddenly the click of heels down the hall caused them both to look. Three members of the royal family appeared. Princess Lilian, Prince Matthew, and Queen Maryann. Both servants quickly kneel avoiding eye contact as the family passed all three glaring at Krypt as they passed. They knew who he was.

• Krypt watched them in defiance, even lifting his chin to look down his nose at the trio. His face said it all. He knew who they were. He glared from the queen mother to the son and finally the daughter. He huffed as he looked at the princess. "Hey there little chicken." He muttered at her for his ears only.

• The royals kept on their way until they had disappeared down a corridor. Tanner and Mae rose to their feet quickly dusting themselves off and shaking their heads. "Brave one." She muttered and started back on her way walking briskly most defiantly not wanting to run into the king.

• He laughed out loud. "They have to get on off their high horses," he commented in response. "This kingdom isn't all about marriage pacts, diamonds and money. And I would know," he laughed again, shaking his head. "The idiocy of those people."
He looked around. He doubted anyone had seen him pocket the small ornament off the hall table. No,... everyone had been too busy 'respecting' the royals to notice, he was sure of it.

• Neither one of his escorts noticed too busy with the royals. She walked into a side door as people scurried and rushed past. Cooks were going one way servants with trays going another. "We need some crates of apples brought out from the cellar and you two are going to do it." She chirped as she shooed them towards it and quickly ran after a women who was carrying more trays then she could handle.

• Crypt looked a little confused for a second, having been expected to do manual labour. He laughed and hopped onto a crate pile and kicked up his legs. "Ah, now this is more like it, wouldn't you agree?" he chimed and looked down at Tanner. He deftly opened a crate and robbed it of one of the apples stored away. He bit into it without another thought. "mmmm...." he said through a mouthful of apple . "You want some?" he asked temptingly.

• Tanner lumbered over picking up a couple crates looking up at him and sighing. Great looks like he was going to be doing all the work on this one. "Sure if you say so." He said shrugging. He was about to refuse when he suddenly felt how hungry he really was. One wouldn't kill him right. Setting the carts down with a grunt he nodded.
