[size=11pt][font=times new roman]Though she had joined just a day ago, Sleepytowns didn't hold a meet and greet.
Mainly because she had no idea what a meet and greet was; but even if she did, that sort of thing wasn't an exciting concept to her. She was still very wary of this place and those who inhabited it; living alone for most of her days, she was very unacquainted with Clan life as a whole, and so far she didn't particularly like it.
Instead of socializing, she had set out to make her living space more comfortable; choosing a tent that wasn't too far from the others, but still on the outskirts of the camp. She had so many possessions back home, where she had her mother had once lived; it was a shame to know that they were going to waste, crystals and flowers and books just withering away in some little hut in the middle of nowhere- but she couldn't carry them with her. She'd have to find all new supplies, all new everything.

Standing just outside her tent, gazing off into the horizon, was a particularly disgruntled Sleepytowns. She wanted to go and pick some flowers, or collect some stones, but for miles (or what seemed like miles to the tiny doe) there was nothing but... well, nothingness. Dying grass, and plains.

Being as she hadn't given her name at the border, the kitten headed over. "Saffron kit." She said, giving a slight scowl to the doe. Really, it wasn't like she disliked just Sleepytowns for no reason, she disliked almost everyone for no reason.

[size=11pt][font=times new roman]Startled from her reverie, the witch's attention snapped to the assistant deputy. Immediately, she tensed, head low and expression rigid. She looked off again into the distance, a slight disapproving frown on her delicate features; "Is it always this... dry here?" Perhaps it wasn't the wet season; that was plausible. God, and it was so hot, too, without any shade; she may just keel over in the summer from the sheer heat. Having a thin, pale coat didn't do anything to deflect the sun.
Sleepytowns then looked to the kitten, metaphorical brows knitting. Her short fuse was, fortunately, not lit; she was slightly put off by the child's scowl, though. "...Okay." She'd say 'nice to meet you', but not with an attitude like that. It was petty for her to react so warily to a child, but Sleepytowns didn't have the levelest of heads.
