He nodded. "Oh." He said.
Kyle finally woke up and yawned. "What did I miss?" He asked as he stretched. "Want something to eat?" He asked with a tired smile.

Rowan smiled "Nothing much we were just talking about Maisie. And yeah something to eat would be great"she replied before smiling at Nathan "you hungry bubba?"she asked

Nathan smiled and nodded before getting off the bed. Kyle smiled and kissed Rowans forehead. "I'll take him with me. You get some rest." He said as he picked up Nathan and carried him down the long hall to the elevator. Once down he went to the cafeteria and looked over the food before seeing the nurse from last night. "Hey stranger." He said with a half smile.

Rowan nodded and curled up more. The nurse smiled at them "Hello sir how is everyone today?"the nurse asked brightly

He handed Nathan a piece of bread before looking back at her. "I think we are good. Just hungry." He stated as Nathan ate the bread. "So how's your day so far?" He asked as he put some food on a plate.

The nurse sighed "Quite busy but nothing I'm not used to, my shifts ending soon thank god"she said smiling at Nathan then back at Kyle.

Kyle nodded. "Well I hope your day gets better than." He said with a smile. Nathan handed her the half eaten part of the bread with a smile. Kyle laughed slightly. "Nah buddy she wouldn't want that." He said and Nathan tilted his head.

The nurse laughed "I believe it already has"she looked at the bread and smiled kindly at Nathan "Im fine I actually just had breakfast, why don't you finish it?"she suggested

Nathan looked at her and started eating again. Kyle smiled. "I'm glad he could make your day need." He said as he ran a hand through his hair after getting some food for Rowan.

The nurse just smiled "Yes well stay safe sir I gotta be heading home now, my bed is calling me"she joked before going and getting her stuff then walking out

He nodded with a smile before heading back upstairs with Nathan. He went in and put Nathan on the bed next to Rowan before handing her a plate of food. "I wasn't sure what to get you." He stated as he sat down and started eating.

"Well good thing I like all of this"Rowan smiled before eating glad she didn't have to do anything for a while except cook dinner she finished eating a few minutes later "Can we head home now?"she asked glancing at Kyle

He nodded as he finished eating. "Yea." He said then went over looking at his daughter for a while. "I hope she will be ok." He said as he ran a hand through his hair.

Rowan sighed "The hospital will take good care of her "She said quietly a little sad to have to say goodbye and not being allowed to even hold her she sat up and winced before stretching

He nodded and helped her up kissing her forehead. "Take it easy." He said when she winced.

"Im just a little sore"Rowan sighed "A bubble bath and will be fine"She smilied standing up and taking Nathans hand before glancing at Maisie.

He nodded and glanced at their child one more time before walking out with Rowan and Nathan. He buckled Nathan up before helpin Rowan get in. Once in he drove home while holding her hand.

As soon as they were home Rowan got out and stretched before getting Nathan out the back and carrying him inside before gently putting him down in the living room to play. She then went upstairs and started running herself a bath.

Kyle went inside and sat with Nathan for a while before carryin him to his room to play. Kyle put the gate up in Nathan's room so he couldn't leave his room but that they could still here him. Kyle went into the bathroom and smiled to Rowan. "Mind if I join you?" He asked with a smile.
