He wasn’t sure why he’d dragged it all the way back here, but there was no way he was leaving until the foul thing was destroyed. These hearts were everywhere – the carnival, the walls, even ripped on the floor from his previous attempts at taking them down. Apparently, it had something to do with this Valentine’s Day thing. If this happened every year, the child wasn’t sure he wanted to be part of it. All of the pink and red was burning his eyes. Why couldn’t they use blue instead? Blue was a perfectly respectable color.

With a huff, he pawed the paper heart closer.[/fancypost]

The apprentice bounded over, curious to see what his little bud was doing. From the looks of it, he saved a love-hued heart from the party or something. He watched it with questioning eyes, raising a fictional brow.

"What are you going to use that for?"
the girl questioned as she appeared, bright eyes half-slitted. She had just woken from a short nap and was still in that half asleep stage.

Blankkit would pretend he didn’t straighten up a bit, ears twitching, but he did. [b]”Cookiepaw, Fireworkkit.”
It was easier than trying to make what he was doing with this thing clear. What did it look like? Did they think he was hoarding them or something? That needed to be stopped immediately. Instead of offering a proper explanation, he pressed one paw into the paper and proceeded to rip it; the quarter that actually managed to tear away promptly stuck to his paw. ”Um. This.”[/fancypost]

At this, her eyelids flew open, causing her to give Blankkit a quizzical look. Ripping a paper heart. Not noticing his straighting, she'd slightly shake her head at him. [b]"Well. Aren't you a heartbreaker."
Fire would say the last word with more enthsiasim, hopefully getting the others to realize her weak pun. Well. It was more like 'heartripper', but she guessed that heartbreaker should work to.

Getting closer to him, she'd attempt to take his paw and peel off the red paper stuck to it. If she suceeded she'd balance it on a paw. "You see very happy about Valentines, Blanky."

Brown oculars gazed down at the heart, waiting for an explanation. Instead of getting one, it was being demonstrated. Riiiiip. The sound wasn't so pleasant to his ears, but that was that. It could have been worse, anyways. "Ohhh, I see!" He didn't really question why he ripped it. He wasn't all that nosy, I suppose.
