    3) Action is awesome, fights, sparring, etc. Are always appreciated.
    4) FIVE SENTENCES MAXIMUM!
    5) No actual Maximum Ride characters.

It was dark, and creepily still. It wasn't hot, and it wasn't cold it was just... air you could say. Then, "WHOOM!" a tornado touched down making the wind blow with fury. It made the trees sway and sometimes fly off into the tornado, "I WANNA FLY IN IT I WANNA FLY IN IT!!!" A boy's voice said, coming from a tree house. "What?!" One girl said, her voice sounded extremely surprised. "You've got to be joking, Chase. No one, not even us can fly in a tornado." A younger girl said, her voice shaky. Chase got up and flew out of the tree house with a determined face, his eyes narrowed at the tornado. "CHASE!" The girls both said, walking out to the "porch" of the tree house their arms stretched out for him. Chase kept on going, beating his wings faster and faster towards the tornado. He was going to do it, and nobody was going to stop him. Once he got close enough, the wind did the rest. Chase was carried into the tornado, but then, he stopped right near the moving tornado. That wasn't humanly possible, nor Avianly. He could control gravity, while the Amaya, the youngest, was a technopath, and Satara, the second oldest, was a telepath. He grinned, as he dodged a fragment of a branch, then plunged into the tornado. This is gonna be awesome!

  • Thalia flapped her long wings as she soared through the sky. She looked up at the clouds wondering if she should really be up here right at this moment. She shook her head. A little rain isn't going to kill me... She thought to herself. Though it somehow felt different, it didn't seem like a normal storm. She couldn't hear any thunder or see any lightning. So it freaked her out when there was suddenly a tornado coming out of the clouds and touching the ground.

She realized too late that she was way too close. She flapped her wings furiously feeling the strong wind currents pulling at them. It was just enough to make sure her wings didn't snap from the force. Her eyes narrowed as she spotted a tree house below and, of course, a boy who was flying right towards the tornado. She blinked hoping she was just seeing things, but it was as clear as day. There was definitely a boy there. Her green eyes widened as he jumped into the tornado.

Ah.... geez. Adrenaline junkies? She thought as she started to carefully drift closer to the tornado.

  • [align=center]"HEY!!!" Amaya said, waving Thalia to bet over there. She jumped down from the house, looking for a tornado shed. As for Chase, well, he was spyrolling up and down the tornado laughing like a mad boy. He felt wonderful, he felt like no one could tell him what to do.

  • Thalia looked down as she heard a voice down below where the house was. She realized that she wouldn't be able to land gracefully like she wanted to. She folded her wings in and dropped down below hoping gravity wouldn't backfire on her. When she was close to the ground she opened her wings the tiniest bit to slow down. The wind suddenly yanked her wings open more than she wanted to in a very painful way and when she landed she fell over backwards onto her back as the wind caught her wings.

  • [align=center]Satara burst out laughing as the girl fell over, as for Amaya she glared at her friend and ran over to Thalia. "C'mon! We've got to get down in the tornado shed!" She said, tugging at the girl's arm. Satara jumped down onto the ground, "No need for that." She said in a smooth, calm, voice. She closed her eyes and put two fingers on the right side of her head. Chase, mind lowering the gravity down here? She thought, sending the thought to Chase who was now gliding around and around the rims of the tornado.

  • Thalia sat up cussing under her breath as she folded in her wings. She thought that she vaguely heard laughter, but she couldn't worry about it at the moment as she felt one of the girls tug on her arm. She quickly got to her feet. She looked back at the other girl wondering why they didn't need to get somewhere safe. She looked up at the tornado wondering what had happened to that boy.

  • [align=center]Got it. Chase thought, knowing that Satara heard his thought. He concentrated his energy around him and then below where the tree house was, then took a deep breath. At that breath everything wasn't windy, it was just... there around the tree house. "Thank you!" Amaya called, waving her hand at the tornado. "Hi! My names Amaya! What's your's!?" Amaya asked, putting her hands behind her back, putting one leg across the other, and tilting her head. This, was the cute pose for Amaya.

  • Thalia was surprised when the winds suddenly stopped. She looked up at the tornado as one of the girls said thank you. She wondered if this was the boy's doing, but she decided not to ask. ''I'm Thalia,'' she replied.

  • [align=center]"And that's Satara!" Amaya said, running over and hugging her. "You got into the Ice Cream again, didn't you?" Satara said, raising her arms. Amaya looked up at Satara with a grin, nodding rapidly.

  • Thalia smiled as she watched Satara and Amaya. "Nice to meet you," she replied to them. She glanced up at the tornado. "So, we're okay now right?" she asked as she pointed out that the winds had stopped.

  • [align=center]Amaya let go of her friend and put her hands behind her back, "Yup!" She said hopping up and down. "Unfortunately we'll feel a little slow in two minutes, Chase has to make gravity push down on us so we don't go flying, and I don't mean with our, off into the tornado." Satara said, staring up to where Chase was.

  • Thalia nodded as she looked up at the tornado again. ''Eh... I can deal with being slow for a while.'' It would probably be less worse than getting ripped apart by a tornado. She watched still incredulous that there was a boy inside that. She wondered how long the tornado would last.

  • [align=center]Chase got tired of flying in the tornado, flying up through the funnel. He glided back to the tree house with a grin, his eyes wide with happiness. He landed gracefully on the ground, making a "thud" when he touched the ground. Chase was gasping for breath, yet grinning at what he had done. "Have fun up there?" Satara asked, putting her hands on her hips. "Aaah!" He said, putting his hands on his knees staring at the ground, still panting.

  • Thalia watched as Chase flew out of the tornado and landed not too far away from them. She closed her eyes and shook her head as she saw him grinning and gasping for breath. This guy is crazy... She thought to herself. Her day had taken an interesting turn.

  • [align=center]He's stuck with us, of course he is. Satara sent the thought to Thalia, her brown eyes resting on Thalia. Amaya bounced up and down running over to Chase, "WOW! THAT WAS SO COOL! IT WAS SO COOL THAT- THAT ANTARCTICA WAS JEALOUS!" Amaya said, ranting on and on about Chase's little trick that he pulled.

  • Thalia looked back at Satara. Of course.... She watched Amaya in amusement as she ran over to Chase. Antarctica, huh? She chuckled to herself. "So you guys live there?" she asked them gesturing to the house that they'd been standing in previously.

  • [align=center]"Uh huh..." Chase said, still panting. "We've been there for quite a while!" Amaya said, motioning Chase to get to his feet. "It's not polite to do that when people first meet! GET UP!" She commanded, but Chase didn't budge. "Amaya, you could scream there all day but he won't move." Satara said, rolling her eyes.

  • Thalia chuckled softly as she watched Amaya yell at Chase. She glanced at the tornado again. She couldn't help, but feel paranoid. They were so close to the tornado yet they couldn't really feel that strong winds. She wondered how long Chase could keep this gravity thing up.

  • [align=center]"Come on," Satara said, putting a hand on Chase's shoulder. "Let's go into the tornado shelter." She said, motioning for everyone to follow. Amaya started to skip after Satara, humming a little tune to herself. Chase sighed, and straightened up waiting for Thalia to go.

  • Thalia nodded and followed after Satara and Amaya. She wondered where the shelter was, but she decided to just follow. She found it unbelievable that not, but a moment ago the winds were so strong that they'd nearly ripped her wings off and now it was perfectly fine. It was as if the tornado wasn't there anymore. When she looked up it was still there though.
