He's a hot head and stubborn as a mule, he likes things his way and usually gets what he wants. He is fiercely protective of loved ones and he hates to admit it but he can be gentle and romantic when given a need to be.

  • Kristina Colleen Evere
    26 years
She seems pretty innocent when she first is introduced. She doesn't really like being cross or start tiffs. Still, she has her limits and when they're crossed she can become very cold and unforgiving she doesn't believe in second chances.

  • "This is so stupid!" I whispered as I pulled on the collar of my servants uniform.
"Just hush up and do what a servant would do, we're only going to be here for a couple of weeks and once we find a way into the treasury we'll be out of these monkey suits and sailing towards paradise," replied Matthew, captain of our crew, and my best friend.

I let out an exasperated sigh and rolled my eyes before continuing down the corridor of the castle. "Hey! You there, peasant!" Called a voice, I was about to turn around and snap at whoever dared talked to me with that tone before remembering what I looked like, "What?" I questioned as I turned and saw a woman, she was old probably in her fifties, I guessed that she was the head of the servants, "You were supposed to take fresh towels to the princess an hour ago!" She said while glaring at me.

She shoved towels into my arms and then spoke, "Hurry up and get on with it! You don't want to get a whipping for neglecting your duties." She demanded. I just kept my mouth shut and hurried away looking for this whatever her name is, Princess who needed towels. After wandering around like a blind man in a maze o finally found what looked to be the princess' quarters. "I brought towels," I said before knocking on the door

((Your reply doesn't have to be this long, I got carried away... XD )

  • Lilac skirt ruffled as she worked to maneuver her way around her grand oak bed. A slight yawn escaped her lips already feeling weighed down from the to do list that had been laid out for her. Classes, lectures, parties, and study sessions with her tutors. My what a busy life she led. Rubbing her forehead lightly she shook her head trying to snap herself out of it. She went to the wash stand splashing water on her face and let out a sigh seeing no one had come with a towel. They had hard jobs she knew it, and had duties to much more than just her. Although, getting towels was far from a grand scale quest.

It shouldn't take to terribly long and yet her she was an hour after asking without a towel. Luckily she didn't have a great deal of water on her face and just let it dry off. There wasn't much point complaining. If towels were the least of her problems she was doing alright. Hearing the knock she nodded walking towards the door and stepped aside letting the servant in. "Thank you if you will can you set the towels over there." She said motioning to a spot and turned and started to gather her books for her study session in about half an hour.

  • He was surprised when his eyes landed upon the princess' face. All the royalty he had ever met looked dull, and unrealistically beautiful like dolls. But she didn't, she just naturally looked, well.. Beautiful.

"My apologies for being late Princess," he spoke bowing before entering and walking over to the dresser she pointed at before placing down the towels, "I have just begun working so I'm still getting used to all my duties and such." He added.

  • She smiled and looked towards him. She thought he seemed unfamiliar since she knew a few of servant's faces. Kristina waved her hand in the air. "Don't be sorry you're fine. They're just towels." She said smiling as she finished with the books and set them on the desk. Even if she hadn't seen him before he had an interesting appearance. Not like most of the servants.

"And please don't call me Princess I get enough of that among my family. Please just refer to me as Kristina." The blonde said since she hated being called Princess constantly. It was like a dog being called a nickname too many times. The dog will stop answering to it. "Well I hope you enjoy working here." Kristina said politely and hummed as she turned to start cleaning up more of her room which was still a mess.

  • "Kristina.. Nice name." He commented as his eyes scanned the roomed, his gaze stopped as he found what he'd been searching for. On a dresser stood what looked to be like a jewelry holder. And by the looks of it, just the few necklaces that hung there would be enough to set him for life. His face spread into a small smile as he though of all the ways he could spend his share once the plan was completed.

"Just towels huh?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow, "The old Miss..." He paused hoping to remember her name but failed so he just continued, "The old miss I met down the hall was all up in a flurry, she made it seem as if the whole royal family's well being depended on the on-time arrival of these towels." He finished with a grin and a short laugh.

  • With a small nod she turned to look at him. The princess gave a small shrug as she turned back away smiling a bit. "Well, it's an old family name." She stated simply as she kept working. Probably she should just ask a servant to clean and get on with her day. Humming as she went she collected a few more items biting her cheek for a couple moments as she turned back to look at his noticing him eyes her necklaces, but said nothing of it.

She chuckled and smiled. "Well that sounds like the old maid." She said and waved her hand in the air. "Well the towels are received and the well being of the family is just fine." Kristina joked dusting off some of the older books still trying to clean up.

  • "Oh well then I shall leave you be Prince... I mean Kristina." He said bowing respectfully before walking across the room to the door, "It's very impressive by the way." He said as he stopped at the door, "A woman reading I mean." He clarified,

"Not many are presented with the opportunity to learn, and some even if they do pass it up. You are very intellectual." He said giving her a flash of his 'weak-in-the-knees' grin before walking out of the room. As he kept walking he bumped into Matthew again.

"This plan is going to take a little longer than I thought," Said Matthew, "a few weeks in the least. At least the end result will be worth it!" Je said excitedly. Nicholas just nodded, focusing more on the picture of Kristen that was now imprinted in his mind

  • Nodding her head respectfully and watched him leave. She smiled politely blinking a tiny bit. Was it really that strange? Probably for those who didn't have the time, resources, or patience to sit down and learn even the most basic of writting. Having all three it took a lot of stressful sessions, it payed off however. Gathering her books

Gathering up the required things she held them tightly moving down the hall. She didn't need to look at possible clocks or a even see the position of the sun to know she was late terribly late. Taking a deep breath heels clicking loudly moving to a small wooden door in the labyrinth halls walking on the door. Even though she didn't get an answer she found her staring off in space. Shaking her head she knocked again a bit more uregent. Moments of silence creaped by with no reply. With a sigh the young women turned away walking down the hall the way she had come.

Biting her cheek she found her mind drifting again. All she could think about was that servant and his smile. No. She shouldn't even be thinking about anything except the location of the person she was searching for.

  • As Nicholas reached the grand hall he was met once again with the head of the servants, the old woman whose name he had learned was Gilda. "You there! Uh.. Actually forget about it. Your name isn't important. Has no one told you of your duties!?" She inquired.

"I'm new ma'am.." Said Nicholas. To be completely honest this woman, whether she was old or not, was rather terrifying, like a grandparent that never liked children. "Ugh.. Always the new ones." She grumbled, "Go to the kitchen and wait there for the Princess' meal to be completed. Once it is done you are to take it to her study room after she has completed her lessons understood?" She said as she crossed her arms infront of her

"Yes, madam," replied Nicholas. It was hard for him to just let someone talk to him as if he were the most unimportant being in the world. Just last week he was a feared pirate, and now he was pretending to be a servant and letting people walk all over him. He made his way down to the rather large kitchen and waited for Kristina's meal. Cleaning the dining room in the process.

After he received the meal he spent a good twenty minutes just trying to find the room in which she was, but finally after talking to another over friendly female servant he found the right place. He raised his fist and knocked on the door. Waiting for a reply.

  • She had found the right room and her tutor. And oh mercy was he not happy that she had taken so long to get there. Clutching her books tighter she offered an apologetic smile. "Sorry I have no acceptable reason for being late." She said bowing her head slightly and the older man sighed pinching the bridge of his nose and waved his hand and turned walking into the room.

"Just sit down and we'll start." He instructed and she did so opening her book. The lesson was interesting and she marked down certain things. Still, today that mind of her's was off maybe a world or so over. Several times her tutor had to snap his fingers in front of her wondering eyes. The two hours slowly passed and she sighed closing her eyes.

Glancing up the man in front of her was collecting his own things muttering to himself obviously not happy with results. Of course he couldn't really voice those frustrations since she was the daughter of the king and scolding her would probably end his job and maybe more if he wasn't careful. Kristina watched her teacher walk away slamming to door behind him. Slumming over the books and scanning over the pages she started to look at we notes. Hearing a knock she looked up. "Come in." She called.

  • Once he heard the response his hand pushed the door open and he walked in, "Your meal your highness." He said walking over and placing the tray on the table. He looked around and took in everything, but he especially likes the large map that hung from the roof all the way to the flood.

He then turned his attention back to the Princess and spoke again, "I am to wait until you have finished so that I may return the plate to the kitchen." He explained before he looked over at the teacher. "I promise I shall be silent and not a bother." Though being silent went against everything he had grown up with.

  • Kristina nodded her thanks as her teacher closed his eyes and simply shook his head. "Go ahead and throw a feast for all I care. It would seem the breathes I am using are utterly useless." He muttered narrowing his eyes and pushed some hair away from his face. Kristina sighed as she took the tray and started to eat quietly.

The tapping of her heel on the ground and looked at her tutor. "Then am I dimissed?" She asked not meaning to let her eagerness at the proposition. A nod from the tutor caused a small smile appear as she them quietly finished her meal and stood up gathering her things and bowed respectfully before turning to walk out the door passing the tray to the servant and walked out the door without a moment wasted.

  • Nicholas stood quietly in the corner observing everything as he waited for Kristina to finish. He raised an eyebrow at the comment that the Tutor gave but kept his mouth shut. Once she was finished he grabbed her plate and watched her as she left.

Forgetting momentarily that he was suppose to be playing the part of a servant he followed behind her, plate still in hand, and spoke up, "So Kristina," he started, "What is it like being the daughter and heir of the richest man alive?" He questioned.
