Graysen shrugged as he looked to her his tail continuing to twitch behind him his ears also twitching every now and then as the footsteps continued but he brushed it of as his imagination getting the better of him at night.
"You may not find yourself interesting but I may find you interesting..." He replied crossing him arms across his chest smirking slightly.
"You realise how creepy you're sounding?" Ivy looked back at him, turning onto a busy street near the centre of town. It was cold, and a brisk wind was getting up.
The ground very quietly creaked and cracked underneath the two as they walked together, the black liquid surging through the hard tarmac and underneath the both of them. All of a sudden there was a crumbling sound and the ground started shaking, causing the two of them to stop walking.
Grqysen paused his ears flicking as he heard crumbling as thengrpind began to shake and he growled creating to large twin flames in his hands ready to hurl them at whatever was stupid enough to try and attack.
Ivy paused, her gaze drifting down to the ground beneath their feet.
"Well, that's not an earthquake..." She murmured, crouching down and placing her hand against the cold stone. A crack appeared beneath her hand, and she withdrew it thoughtfully.
A black liquid like material suddenly spurted out of the ground in front of the two, resembling oil in looks. It rose higher and higher until it was like two massive tentacles out of the ground before suddenly flying towards them in two deadly arcs which were obviously meant to kill. The two shots however were badly aimed, and they slashed past the two of them before smashing the ground, leaving massive cracks where they struck. It was obvious it would be bad to be struck by one. The black liquid rose once again and tried to assault them once more, their aim more accurate this time.
"Huh. This is... interesting." Ivy flinched slightly as the oil-like substance hurtled past them and smashed into the ground, "I think we should probably move out of the way, though, don't you think?" She looked to Graysen, then dragged him our of the way with her as the strange substance came at them again, "Oh, and I don't think your little flames are going to be much use against that."
Another two of the tentacles erupted from the ground after a few seconds, surrounding the two people before lashing out again however it became obvious that they were never going to hit their target. A sigh escaped the males lips as he stood up from his hiding spot and walked into their view with a shrug.
The four black tentacles slowly sunk onto the floor and travelled back towards the boy and climbing up his body, forming a type of armour that resembled chainmail oer his current casual wear, and what was left over was being absorbed by his skin. Finally he stopped, glancing at the two through golden eyes, "Who are you two? Any normal person would've been killed easily by my ability."
Graysen growled and didn't reply the tips of his fingers tingling his eyes glowing dimly under his think dark mop of hair as he stared but he didn't answer.
"We could ask you the same question- especially since you admitted to trying to kill us. That doesn't really evoke trust in you." Ivy watched him intently, her arms folded across her chest, "Telling us who you are may give us a better reason to give you a reply, though I wouldn't count on it."
Graysen smirked at Ivy's reply and stretched slightly before he crossed his arms over his chest as they tingled like small bursts of electricity were attempting to break through his skin but he pushed it to the back of his mind keeping his eyes on the man who had attacked them.

Satoshi, he was a normal human until not to long ago, where he suddenly discovered his abilities and started using them. It wasn't long before someone recognised him for his abilities and offered him into the Academy. However there was a problem, as soon as he got there he caught news about the fact that the Academy had been destroyed in an attack! So there he was, now without a place to stay. Gazing around, he saw nothing that could help him out of his current predicament and cautiously looked at some of the nearby people.
