  • OK so this is Rose....

Rose sat around in her colorado mountain home. (I know not original) She was lonely and talked to herself out of boredom. She had some knowledge from T.V. and the internet. But she didn't want to learn anymore she wanted a family a freind. She pulled herself out of the chair and went to the bathroom. She looked to herself for a moment her long carmel brown hair, her perfect face structure, her blue eyes''Wow I look normal'' She thought. She then pulled out her angel like wings they where almost fifteen feet long and twenty-one inches wide.''And now I'm a freak'' she thought sadly. She knew it wasn't normal for a sixteen year old but she did'nt care but there where moments when she did.She touched her wings feeling the feathers how perfect they seemed. She folded her wings back onto her back and walked into the living room and sat down again.

[font=georgia]P.s. I really don't care how your flock enters as long in the end she joins it. :D

    So..This is her house.

Once she left the school or hell as she sometimes calls it she came to the mountains. This was an abondened cabin that she took over and now she now this is where she has resighened for four years.

This is the living room where she spends most of her time.

    This is the kitchen.

    The bathroom.

This is the lake that is behind the house.

    This is her room:

    And the guest room:

  • (( Is there a form? ))

Two shadowed figures flew in the dark above the house. They didn't seem to notice the home yet and knowing that there wasn't much people around, they were quiet but noisy at times. One of them was a girl around 17 years of age, a fair complexion and blonde hair reaching past her shoulder, was waving crazy against the breeze. She stopped for a moment as the wind started to blow heavily against her face, having to close her eyes for a moment.

After opening them again she looked over to her friend who was by her side. She watched him with blue-grey eyes that displayed worry. "I think we should get into a cave or something, it's going to be too hard to continue even for a few feet." she said. He nodded and gazed down below for anything that could be used as shelter. "Looks like there's a house, I'm thinking that could be a possibility. I'm doubting they're whitecoats." he said. She nodded and tucked in her red-tailed hawk wings slightly to allow her to drop down quickly, landing on the ground after a minute as if she was as light as a feather.

He watched as she dropped down and rolled his eyes. "Sam, you really need to stop making quick decisions." he muttered and furled his black wings in, enough to allow him a graceful descend. The wind seemed to change direction to going upwards, making his shaggy black hair wave hard. It was annoying enough to have your leader act as a child but another to having to drop downwards and have your head feel as if all the hair had been yanked out of your scalp. He glanced at Sam with his ice blue eyes as soon as she began to speak. "We need to be careful, who knows who's in that place." she said. They both began to walk towards the building and reached it in a matter of minutes, but weren't careful enough to be light on their feet as the stone created echoes of their footsteps for anyone close enough to hear.

  • [font=courier]Name: edward daniels
    Gender: male
    Flock: none
Description: he's in his early twenties, and has had the opportunity to work on countless operations both in a hospital and in the school. he makes a point of hiding his eyes behind thick, geeky glasses, and keeping a rugged 5 o'clock shadow, which causes him to appear as if he hasn't slept for days on end. a few years of fleeing erasers and eating restaurant leftovers has given him a toned and muscular physique.
Personality: sarcastic, witty, and often very morbid, sometimes his flights of fancy take him beyond the troposphere and into places unknown. creepiness aside, he's quite kind.
Other: he's an ex-whitecoat. started experimenting on himself, and when his colleagues found out, they tried to stick him in a cage with the rest of the chimeras. betrayed, he escaped the institution in phoenix, texas, and came here in the hopes of joining up with one of the rebel flocks.

  • OOC I guess you can start something about him finding the house and he can join the flock that rose is going to join.

    IC The wind blew.

  • No service...[font=georgia] He stared at the dull, cracked screen of his cellphone. Just f*cking great--what had he been thinking, wandering around in a tattered lab coat and black dress pants in the middle of nowhere? He would be lucky if he didn't get mauled by a bear or eaten by a passing mountain lion. The wilds of Colorado were chockfull of those nasty beasts, or at least that was what the brochure had said. It was currently resting in his hand, but it had come a long way--from its plastic stand at the grime-stained window of a rundown Seven Eleven in the slums of Houston, Texas to be exact. He had picked it up on a whim, thought he could use a nice vacation somewhere close but not too touristy. Who knew that things would've ended up the way it had? God had a hideous sense of humor.

He straggled along an old Native American trail, following the path of least resistance as he scaled the steep valley slope. His patent leather loafers had been worn down into the soles from days upon days of constant walking, and though his pace had considerably slackened over the last few hours (what with the rain and all) Edward absolutely refused to toss them away. They simply held too many memories of a past life spent in luxury and fame. If they were gone, he felt he would lose the last fringes of a hope that somehow things would go back to the way they were before. Of course he knew that they wouldn't, but this desperate hope was the only thing left that was driving him forward. Without it, he'd be lost in a well of self-pity and despair.

It was when he had reached the top of the hill that he saw the lights. He could feel the gears of his mind churning as he thought: lights equaled electricity; electricity equaled house; house equaled food, water and shelter. He would've jumped for joy if he had had the energy, but what remnants of strength were left were just enough to see him safely at the door of a squat and pleasant-looking cottage. Without a second's hesitation, he knocked.

  • Rose opened the door to her bedroom all the way as she heard the knock ''Is that them?'' she wondered as she walked to her closet and grabbed her favorite red jacket and quickly tucked in her wings and pulled it over her.''Just incase'' she thought as she rembered the park ranger that had come up to her front door and asked about her living here and to see her parents. But long story short he did'nt remember it the next day.She quietly walked down the hallway through the livingroom and opened the door slightly.''Hello?'' she said.

  • [font=georgia]"Please, help. I need food." He looked like a caveman from 10000 BC--what with his hollow eyes, dark, scraggly hair, and ragged coat. He was feeling like one too. One that had missed out on five meals and had been pandering about on foot in a prehistoric forest without GPS or any phone service. "Please."

  • ''You need alot more than food and yes I will help you'' she said opening the door all the way.''Come in'' she said.

  • [font=georgia]"Thank you," he managed to croak, shuffling inside. The fluorescent lighting hurt his eyes, and he placed his hand on his forehead to shade them as he felt his way to the kitchen. The smell of baking soda and grease residue was obvious enough to point him in the right direction--to the stove--and beside a stove, out of more chances than one, there would be a refrigerator. He groped the wallpaper blindly with his free hand.

  • Rose looked to him and took his hand and guided him to the table ''Sit i will cook you something is there anything that you would like?'' she asked watching him to make sure he did so.''He looks starved i'll make dinner and he needs a bath and i'll give him some new clothes and somehwere to sleep'' she thought planning out her actions.

  • [font=georgia]He was reluctant to leave the spot where the smell of raw meat was so tantalizingly close, but he let his host hold his hand and lead him like an obedient lamb to the sacrificial rock. "Meat," he grumbled irritably, folding his arms over his chest. He was in serious need of a shave, and Rose had guessed rightly--a bath. Consequently he stunk like a garbage disposal... that had been left out in the desert sun for a week.

  • She thought a moment and went to the fridge ''How many steaks do you want?'' she asked pulling them out.She herself was already hungry although she really did'nt move much her body was always wanting food so she decided to go ahead and make her dinner along with his.She waited on his answer and she contiued pulling some out.''I can eat two,he'll need like eight'' she thought.

  • She nodded and blinked ''How did he know what i was thinking? or maybe i was just right'' she thought as she grabbed her four biggest pans and set them on all the eyes. She dropped two into each ''That's his eight'' she thought as she set the timer and got a spatchula to flip them. She listened to the sizzle as she got down two plates and some silverware. She set the table and got herself a glass and pulled out a liter of dr.pepper.''What would you like to drink?'' she asked pouring her own.

"A gallon of Gatorade would suit me fine. I need the electrolytes," he said, coughing dismally into his open hand. Edward was feeling absolutely miserable--it took all of his control and self-restraint not to attack the stove and gobble down the steak raw. In an effort to make small talk--and keep himself distracted from the mouthwatering aroma of meat--he ventured a, "Do you live alone here? In the Colorado wilderness?"

  • She took a bottle of gatorade out and gave it to him.''Yes, ive lived here for years'' she said as the timer went off.She quickly ran over and torned of three eyes and pulled the eight steaks off and put them on his plate.''There's a fork and knife on the table'' she said putting her two in one of the pans and sticking the other three into the sink. She set the timer again and sat down.

Edward did not listen to her silly talk about forks and knives. He was a man--a starving man--and he gobbled and scarfed and stuffed all eight steaks in a record of twelve seconds flat. God, this super metabolism was a real setback. Wiping his mouth on the tablecloth before quaffing down the Gatorade--he wasn't even sure why he had bothered to tidy up in the first place--Edward somehow managed to drain the bottle in three mighty gulps.

When he was at last finished, he reclined against his seat and patted his stomach, still as flat as a plane, in a contented manner. "That was the best," he said, then stifled a large burp in his fist. "Ah, and you were saying that you've been living alone here for a few years? Shouldn't you be more wary of strangers, especially strange men? But don't worry about me, I'm not interested in you for that. What I am interested in is whether or not you have seen," and here he leaned over the table and continued in a confiding whisper, "winged people?"

  • She was still shocked at how he had done that but as he heard that question she listened ''No,but what would happen to them?'' she asked tucking in her wings tighter.''Could he know?Is that why he came here?'' she thought hundreds of questions came into her head that would'nt have an answer. The timer went of and she went and got hers she turned off the oven put the pan in the sink and came back and sat down.
