Colors. Bright, Flashes of blue and green. Rain falling in reverse. All the water from the ground rising into the sky. Of course, maybe it was hard to tell he was crying. Those went up into the void as well. His sky blue eyes would trail over them, as pained gasps left his mouth. His eyes where blue. Of course the whites of his eyes had gone red, and his eyes had gone dull. Pupils dilated, his vision blurring like a camera out of focus. His hands would move down to his stomach. Teeth grit. He'd put two trembling hands on the rope, letting out a grunt. Eyes squeezing shut. Breath being forced out from his teeth. Hh...hh....he was losing his strength. He wanted to get out. He wanted the pain to stop.
It was cutting into his stomach, slowly. It had been for the past six minutes. Like a blade, being pressed into his gut, slowly...but ever so slowly. A gasp would leave his mouth again, fingers wrapping around the rope. He'd pull away as another sickening bout of pain struck him. The blood had seeped down it, a sickly deep red crimson. It pooled above him. He'd watch It, trying to stop pained wheezing from leaving his mouth.

He was all alone.
Everyone was dead but him. This universe ended with him.

He didn't want to cry. It would be selfish to cry for himself. Then again, who cared if he cried? Who was left to judge him? To call him selfish? These last few moments...they were his, and his alone. He was going to take the end of the known universe with him, to the grave. He...he was dying, but he was curious. Even in his final moments, where nothing happened. His final wishes where to see the end. Back to the rope.

What was the point of making it to prospit? Who was left? Everyone was dead. What would happen if he made it to god tier? He'd be all alone. Him, and the endless void of nothing. That and Bec Noir, who he was sure couldn't die from this. Prospit hadn't been destroyed before, or...last time he checked. It probably would be now, though. Sucked into the void. Is that where he'd wake up? In the void of nothing? Only to die a second time? He'd cry out in pain again, blood filling the sky around him. It was like a tree had grown from his stomach. If tree's were made of blood, suspended in mid air. He'd pull out his extra glasses, holding them to his face weakly. The frames on one side of them where cracked. But...at least he could see a little bit now. And what he saw? He saw colors. He heard sound. As if his final moments...in his final moments, the universe spoke to him.

Told him something.

Because despite it all, he managed to crack a sheepish grin as his vision started to blur, and his hands stopped working. He was still alive, but...he couldn't move. The pain had stopped at least. Or, at least it was numb. He was numb. Tears. They picked the perfect time to happen, because he'd sob silently, crying. Crying for himself. For the end. For all the things that once were, but no longer existed. He was the last one to die.

He was all alone.

A sickly gasp would leave his mouth as he woke up. His eyes opened for a moment. Was a first second thought of 'Hell yeah! I'm not dead!' and then it turned into 'Wait, now what?' and then a bolt of pain shot into his back. He started coughing up blood. He'd hunch over at first, but that made it worse. A scream leaving his lips. A blade exploding through his chest. Through his heart. The coughing fit wouldn’t start, body trembling as he collapsed onto his side, moving his head onto it's side, hands on the blade. A small nervous smile on his face as he looked up at his murderer. Bec.
Bec Noir. He hated to say it, but he expected this. Now he was smiling for real. The dying child would put his hand up to the unbeatable boss, a nervous smile on his face, hand trembling. Bec looked...hesitant to take his hand. The guy must of eventually decided, 'what the hell, he's going to die anyways.' because he took Johns hand, getting down on a knee, looking down at the coughing kid.

"You...you win. It was was short, h-horrible....but....a-at....at least...." Bec would move closer, face contorted into a scowl. "At least what?" John would wheeze, putting to hands on the wolf's face. "a...at least, I...I didn't have to...d-die alone." And with that, he'd laugh. Final point to Egbert. If his last vision in his first life was of colors, his second last vision was of the final bosses pained expression. The boss realized then and there, who was really alone. AlIve, but alone. He'd crush the sword into the others chest, silencing him.

There was a moment in time. A brief moment where he gasped for breath. Moved slightly. As if he'd somehow, maybe gotten ready for a second fight. He probably could have. As a friend used to tell him, miracles happened everywhere.
And maybe he had gotten back up. Maybe, somehow...he was revived a third time.

Maybe the universe didn't end then. Maybe ended with a battle. With a fight. One young man fighting for his fallen friends, allies. Him by himself, against their murderer. An unbeatable boss. How would such a fight come to an end? A good question. Frankly only HIM, and the BOSS would know. Because everyone else was DEAD. Such a final battle surely, would of ended with justice over evil. Right? Of course, it's just as possible that neither of them wanted to spend an eternity alone, and just sat in the void, playing cards until one of them croaked. Sometimes a final boss just has to have someone there to admire their evil.

Maybe they became friends.
Just maybe.....
