Well, technically both Canada and the US (along with Mexico and Greenland) are all part of North America. So it would be incorrect of me to say I learn about American History, because I only learn about US History.

Weeellll, good to know my rogue attack idea was completely shot down. I mean it's not like any of your cats have to die. It's just an interesting way to create history, scars, maimings, friendships, hardships and such with your characters. Unless you want that to happen to your cat, it doesn't have to happen. <.< Everyone has complete control over what happens to their cat during a fight.

But any semi advanced thread strives for one big thing, other than grammer, and that's realism. You do not know how much it irks me when people go,
"This she batted her eyelashes at the leader, her beauty reflecting in a way she could not understand.
"My name, beautiful as it is," she began. "Is not the impressive part of me."
The she swung her leg down, at a rabbit that had scuttered by, in one quick swipe. It flung itself backwards, already lifeless at her gentlest touch.
"I may be tough, and I can cope with anything thrown in my way," she began. "But nature is my weakness. I just love flowers."
Anyone else hate that? Ugh. .-.
A rogue attack would kill many, especially most of the kits and apprentices, queens and elders. That's how realistic it is. If my small dog got attacked by another dog, it would probsbly be maimed or dead. :c Nooooo.....
-
But if a lot of small dogs teamed up on a larger dog, they would win. And yeah I see what you mean. But I didn't mean like a HUGE rogue attack. Like everyone makes their own temporary rogue (I guess a form?) and play them along with your regular charries. Since they aren't trained in the way of the Warrior, they wouldn't be as skilled as a clan would be. Also, it's not unrealistic for a clan to get attacked by a rogue, stray group; or another clan. So it's still realistic, but it's also realistic that kits, elders, and such don't need to die if you roleplay them hiding or something. And we can make it clear not to attack kits unless someone wants their kits to die; to create history for their queen or something
Like, its all controlled. And I mean....if we're talking realistic, we are roleplaying as a clan of cats with leader, and their own religion with ancestors that give the leader actual nine lives:P so it's unrealistic from the start xD And we can kill off all the rogues. Which leaves a weakened, battered clan to come together and heal together united. It honestly is one of the best plots I've ever been involved in since I've been on this site. Storms, floods, mate problems, mate pursuing, singular plots, internal clan issues are all kind of dull ._. imo. -

I agree with Ashfeather because, lets be real, if you read the last book in 'The Fourth Apprentice' (the last warriors series) you'd know an attack of evil cats who had already had warrior training happened, and most of the queens survived, and I'm pretty sure all kits that we knew of survived as well.
Plus a she cat gave birth during a badger attack in an earlier series, and both her and her kits survived.
I really don't think it's that uncommon for almost all the cats to survive an attack, especially if that attacking group is just a handful of rouges who know nothing about working together or battle techniques.

Thank yuu~ :) I mean, I'm open to ideas, but it's ultimately Whitethroat's decision on what to do. I just think fires, flood, storms, etc are a bit overdone. And internal clan problem tend to get a bit focused on just ONE cat or a few rather than including everyone; and it gets kind of muddied. And it leaves people with low muse and makes them feel awkward
I dunno. And I absolutely love creating different ways to kill off characters xD But I never want my cats to die; so temporary characters are SO fun to just create from a whim and make them completely psycho. -
In truth, because the last plots were a fire, a flood and an internal mumbo jumbo, I would like to try something new.
The issue with a civil war is not having enough cats to really pit each other against each other. It would end up being like Tigerstar & Darkstripe, only a couple, or very few, 'bad' cats.
As for the group of rogues, it worked out for SwampClan, and it was actually really fun. Everyone was able to RP a bad guy if they wished, and could control what happened to their cats. The issue is building up to it. Is it sudden, or does it start with signs? The smell of odd cats at the border, or even crossing the border? Crowfood found? etc.

I feel like it should start with a scent at the border. It's very awkward to jump right into a plot and, while it doesn't have to be a long intro, I think that it would be more enjoyable to build up to the plot just a bit.
But of course you know this about me x3 I go very, very slowly with plots xD
[/fancypost][/fancypost] -
Yes, yes you are SheWolf x'D
But, same, I'd rather do a slow plot, because I think in that time relationships will build between the cats of OakClan, and make the inevitable crash and burn a more... emotional isn't the right word, but we'll go with it... -
Sounds good C: Should we create a temporary 'rogue' thread where we can make our characters, and kind of 'start up' the plot? Like have them conversing among themselves and hunting near the territory? Maybe one of them could like HATE Crowstar for some reason? Make a little back story?
-
If you mean a plot thread, I am more than willing to make one (:
Actually, I'd like to have a few members volunteer to be 'bad' rogues, then make the thread private. That way it is a surprise to some, and they can get the most out of it! -
Mm I don't know about the rogue idea but if everyone wants to do it, than okay. I strive for realism so I might create a character to kill off or maybe even just kill Ripplepaw or Stoneleap.

Mm... yes if Whitethroat agrees that it is necessary to create a character to kill off I might do the same. However, she also knows all to well my obsession with imagining Russetpaw(breeze)'s death. Might kill her to avoid making pointless characters...

To those I RP with:
I've had a really bad last two days, I'm sorry, guys.
A part of me now wishes I had come on because this place is a great place to get absorbed into stories and forget about stuff, but instead I just... moped... I've done a lot of moping and fighting over the past two days, but I'm done. I've been really out of character the last two days, and I'll do my best not to make is show in my characters. Like, if I'm in a bad mood, and something great is happening, I'm not going to go, "Baahhh humbbbuuuggg, kits are womb goblins."
So, yeah.
Okay. Idk.
I'll be on tonight at 7PM EST (long weird floater/assist. cafe shift) -
Nuuuuu don't make Russetbreeze die D: Emberpaw would be so sad :c Though it is good for character development. xD And it's okay Whitethroat, everyone has their days
