He nodded silently and held tightly unto Ace still. He was beyond scared of falling and possibly cracking his skull. The thought of it made him for afraid but he tried to ignore the feeling.

I give him a slight hug and say, "I won't let you fall... Promise." I say looking at him as I pull back. "I know your probably scared you'll fall and get hurt but I won't let you... I know you probably don't believe me because of our past but..." I say shrugging slightly as I look at the ground.

He frowned and nudged him a bit. "Don't worry about our past. Maybe, just maybe, we could start new. Like fresh." Blake suggested and gave a small smile. -
"Really ?" I ask looking up at him, hope sparkling in my eyes. I smile softly and look at him, my cheeks flushing slightly when I realized just how hopeful I had seemed when he said that. I look down and will the flush to go away before I look back up at him.

He laughed softly and nodded. "If that's okay with you, then yes." Blake wanted to hug the boy, but knew he could fall if he tried to move. -
"Obviously it's okay with me," I say laughing slightly as I look at the boy. "Want me to help you skate now ?" I ask raising an eyebrow. I slowly starting skating backwards towards the actual skating rink as I watch him.

He could feel his stomach twist and turn as he gripped tightly unto Ace and could feel himself follow after Ace without even trying to move himself. -
I watch him and I slowly turn around so i'm facing in front of me and I take his hand for a second, tugging him over to the railing so he can hold onto that while he attempts to skate.

"Ace, no no, please. I can't." he whimpered as he tried to reach for the railing to hold on as he moved slowly. Blake's eyes widened as he looked at the boy for comfort. -
"I'm going to be right next to you the whole time. I promise I won't let you fall." I say softly, skating closer to him. When he looks at me for comfort, I ache to reach over and hug him but I hold myself back as I watch him, placing my hand on his wrist as I lift it slightly, tugging to get him to try and skate towards me.

His feet were shaking almost like Bambi's did when the deer tried to walk in the classic Disney movie. He let go off the railing, soon began to try and pull himself towards Ace. -
I watch him quietly and I notice his legs shaking so i skate towards him a little bit, taking his hands in mine for a second and looking at his eyes. "Try not to think about it to much, just put one foot in front of the other and see how that works out," I say gently, not at all annoyed or anything. I let go of his hands but I stay in reaching distance in case he needs to grab onto my arm.

Blake was ultimately scared as he did what he was told. His foot was ready to slip and bring him down. He whimpered softly to himself as he slowly made his way over to Ace, but because of his clumsiness he had slipped and grabbed unto Ace for support. -
I hold him up by his arms when he almost falls and I make sure he stays standing, "Your doing good so far," I say smiling at him encouragingly. "Let me guide you for a minute so you get the feel of skating. Just let me be your guide," i say skating backwards slowly, holding both his wrists to tug him along with me while I moved.

Blake squeaked as he could feel the skates under him roll. He shut his eyes for a bit before opening and trying to keep his balance while his eyes stayed on Ace -
I smile at him when he looks to me again and I keep tugging him as I skate, making sure he stayed standing.

After about 2 minutes, we make it back to where we started and I smile, my blue eyes shining. "We made it around once without you falling," I say watching with a soft smile.
