Moonflourish impatiently waited for her new apprentice, Starpaw to appear. She frowned. The apprentice was already late. The apprentice seemed good enough, and would learn quickly. "But she'd better show up soon," Moonflourish thought.

Then Starpaw ran out of the bushes,"Sorry i'm late my brothers put a prank on me!" Panting she walked up and sat in front of her mentor.

Moonflourish frowned disapprovingly. "All right. Now, let's go on a tour of the territory, okay?" she said to her new apprentice.

"OK!" she was so exited she almost tripped. She stopped bouncing and started walking.

Moonflourish started walking towards Sunningrocks, planning to go to the RiverClan border first.

Starpaw found her balance and followed her new mentor.

Moonflourish reached the RiverClan border. She waited for her apprentice by the river.

Starpaw was not far behind she darted out of the bushes and tripped again.

Moonflourish let out a faint growl. "Our warrior assessment includes not tramping your feet and tripping over everything, so please work on that!" she said through clinched teeth.

"Sorry!" mewed Starpaw she got up and looked at the amazing site. she had forgot she had evan fallen!

"This is Sunningrocks. The sun's rays shine down here all day, and make the rocks warm and confortable to rest on. Sniff the air and describe the scents around you," Moonflourish instructed.

"Trees,sunoh and mouse!" squealed Starpaw.

Moonflourish snorted. "Well, I happen to also smell, see and hear a river, and fish. What else?" he said irritably.

Starpaw was silent she was hypnotized by the flow of the river.

"Yes?" she said sharply.

Starpaw snapped out of it."sorry what?"

"What do you smell? Pay attention! You will spend all day tomorrow collecting moss," she said.

" i smell so many other things and something I've never smelled before!" said Starpaw.

"List them all," she said.

"OK! I smell riverclan,thunderclan,water,grass,trees.and a stale sent of fox." said Starpaw proudly.
