[sup]"Anywhere really." Bierce responded, smiling eagerly at the apprentice. The ragdoll licked down her chest fur, tail curled over her back and ears up and flicking. Occasionally, she shook out her pelt, ridding off the snow.

Guidedheart called after the fast moving ragdoll. The other she cat got up and trotted after the deputy, after looking at the newcomer for the last time. Once she passed the entrance she caught up with the other she and she looked around, "Where to first?" Guidedheart saod over the howling wind.
Honey laughed and flicked her ear, "Where is your leader now?" She said looking around for anycat that may seem like a leader. "It wasn't Bearjaw was it?!" She said slightly frighten, that she just fought a leader.

[sup]"That grove of tangled trees. There's a chance they went there." The she-cat sprinted off again, kicking up snow as she crashed through the woods, trampeling ferns as she brought herself up a slope, and halted at it's peak. Below, the trees grew thick and together, and looked more or less like one massive tree.
"Oh no, Bearjaw's our deputy. Our leader is Russetstar, but she went out." The tom explained. Foxshade turned his head, ears flicking as he looked out into the woods. "I can go see if I can catch you anything. Its be no problem! I don't have much to do." He'd sit, tail curled over his paws.

Some fur was lost, but it was ok the two had thick fur any way!
Honey shook her head and looked ar Foxshade, "But it's snowing....Plus what do ya'll eat? Half you guys look like your starving to death." she muttered.
[/fancypost]
-
[sup]"What we can manage to catch. It shouldn't be as cold as it is. Usually, it'd be warm and we would all look cat with prey. The tom was one of the few cats that were more thinner than the rest. Every scrap of prey he was offered, he declined. But he had gotten used to the gnawing pain of hunger. And he was the others had too. Foxshade would pad closer to the camp exit, and said over his shoulder "I'll be back in a while." And with that he slipped into the woods, a sigh coming from him.
Bearjaw dodged a nettle as she'd pad into the small clearing Russetstar and the apprentices were in. "There you three are. I thought you got swept away by the snow." The ragdoll shook out her snow riddled pelt, flexing her claws.
-
Russetstar looked up from where she stood near the Wingpaw, her red ears twitching at the loud sound, and Bearjaw's mew. She caught sight of the deputy and Guidedheart among the tree roots.
"Starclan's kits!" She exclaimed. "You two were loud enough to wake the entire forest! Is something wrong?""Yes, I'm ready!" Frogpaw answered his mentor. "What are we doing now? Hunting practice? Battle training?"
-
[sup]"Tch, not like there's anything too wake up anymore. There's two outsiders at camp. I think they're both staying." Bearjaw said, pulling herself onto the gnarled root of a dark oak. Her hard gaze rested on the Russetstar as she lay on the icy roots, thick tail flicking.
-
"Then I would like to meet these two." Russetstar replied. "I trust your judgement, Bearjaw. What do you think? Do you trust them?"

She smiled at how the leader can trust her own deputy, such good trusting skills.
Honey sighed and akwardly sat down in the middle of the clearing, to wait for Foxshade. Her ginger pelt was mostly covered in snow now. "My fur will be matted by now!" She growled to herself.

[sup]Bearjaw thought for a moment, before saying, "They seem harmless enough. One of them is expecting and the other is just young enough to be an apprentice. If anything goes wrong, I'm sure the clan can handle them." The ragdoll twitched his whiskers, standing up and arching her back in a stretch.
Foxshade scented the air, his feathery tail flicking. A cardinal.
The tom stalked after the scent and upon discovering its source, unsheathed his claws. And then he bounded forward. His claws were fast to hook into its wings and his teeth sunk into it's throat.
It was surprisingly plump. Just good enough to feed Honey.
And so he sprinted back to camp, dropping his catch at the queens paws with a purr. "Here ya go. I hope its good enough for you." -

Honey smiled and nuzzled his neck affectionally, "Thanks..." She said before she bent down to eat some of the bird.

[sup]Foxshade felt his face grow hot. "It's nothing." The brown/red cat stood up, arching his back in a stretch and shaking out his pelt. He nearly slipped. The tom would lay down on his stomach, head on his paws.

I'm full actually..." The ginger blushed looking away.
[/fancypost]
-
[sup]"Thanks." He'd murmur, taking a bite from the bird. In a matter of minutes, he finished, the tang of bird still on his tongue. He felt like he hadn't eaten in moons. And now the tom was thirsty. Pushing a pile of snow into his mouth, the tom would let it melt on his tongue, swallowing it without a second thought.

She said, cocking her head to the side confused. This forest living life was kinda rough but this was the only option if she wanted her kits to be safe.
[/fancypost]
-
[sup]"Its really just frozen water.. So, in a way I just drunk something." Foxshade explained with a chuckle, claws tapping a ball of ice. The long-furred tom rolled onto his back, reaching up to the sky in a stretch. "So, why're you in the forest, Honey?"

And I just couldn't trust my twolegs with my kits once they arrived." Honey said flicking her ginger tail around.
[/fancypost]
-
[sup]"Yeah, I can see why. I've been told that when a kittypet has kits, the twolegs take then away." His long whiskers twitched as he stood up, rolling his shoulders before sitting down and grooming down his chest fur, that was riddled with snow. The sharp tang of the snow still remained on his tongue, and he hoped he'd be able to wash that out.
-
"I'll take you to see the Warriors den." Cherrypaw turned around and padded to the Warriors den happily. She looked over her shoulder to see if Bierce was following.
"Which do you want to do?" Oakstrike asked. He had his own way of training and he knew it worked. He flicked his tail waiting for the apprentices response
-
Russetstar slid down the tree, landing on her feet near the heap that made up the apprentice.
"Are you alright, Wingpaw?" She mewed. Worry edged her tone. Bending, she stretched to touch his ear, and then to nudge his muzzle. "Do you need Echostep?"With a flick of his tail, Frogpaw led the two just outside the bracken tunnel, where moss grew along the tree trunks.
"Just claw it like this-" He told Bierce as he ran his claws along the bark. "Make sure to be careful, though, or else you'll end up with a pelt full of splinters!"Wingpaw just moaned in reply. He had the wind knocked out of him but what hurt the most was his foreleg, which he landed on in attempt to catch himself. His sides and back also hurt where the branch had landed before his hit the ground.
Moonpaw watched with horror as her brother fell to the ground. She raced down the tree and sprinted to him "Wingpaw!" The moan reassured her Wingpaw was alive, but he was in a lot of pain. She saw a thin trickle of red seep into the now pink snow where he had landed on the branch. "We need to get Echostep!" She yowled in desperation
