    Bluepaw stretched and got up. He peeked his head from the apprentices den, and crawled out. He squinted at the morning light, and looked around to see if anyone else had gotten up.

    Timberspirit sat by a small bush going over today's patrols while glancing around camp mentally assigning cats.


    Echowind padded back into camp her jaws clamped around a squirrel she had caught during her early morning hunting expedition although she was a guard she still enjoyed going for a hunt every now and then.


    Aspenwisp padded out of the warriors den and sat down and began to groom her pelt to make sure is was nice and smoothed down.


    Eagletalon still snored in his nest not realizing it was time to get up and his sister had not thought to wake him before she left the den.

    Timberspirit took up his place as deputy beneath the rock, while Echowind, Aspenwisp, and Eagletalon sat down next to the cluster of their clan mates.

    Snowstar smiled and then she said :"Bluepaw, we have to assign you a mentor. After deciding through a bunch of offers. I have someone whom will teach you the skills you need to protect the clan." She looked down at the apprentice as she said this.

    Aspenwisp sat between her brother and mother not overly interested in what was going on.
    Echowind watched Snowstar speak.
    Timberspirit perked his ears as he waited for the announcement of who Bluepaw's mentor would be.
