    Karmin woke the next morning curled into Beckett's chest. She didn't remember having fallen asleep like that, but assumed she must have culred in because of the warmth and the feeling of protection as she slept. She perked her head up, looking at his sleeping face.

    Exhausted from the night before I slept like a baby and didn't feel like waking up any time soon. But I felt her curled up my chest as I slightly stretched as I felt her sit up and look at me. Yawning as I opened my eyes, blinking as I whipped the sleep from my eyes. "Morning." I stifled as I looked over at her.

    "Morning," she said softly, watching him. She didn't know whether to compare him waking up like a small boy, wiping his eyes. Or perhaps recognize him as a strong fully grown man who had just slept beside her all night like a guardian angel.

    "Did you sleep all right?" I asked as I propped myself up slightly as I let the blanket fall from my bare chest. Stretching as I raised my arms above me head and turned. Letting my body stretch out as it had tensed up over the night. Thankfully I slept just fine, basically blank dreams.

    She began to nod slowly. "Better than the beginning," she replied, finding herself watching his muscles as he stretched. "Ahhhh...." She sighed out audibly then went very red afterwards. She started to look around the room, now that her mind was clear of the majority of her worries from last night.

    I sat up and ran a hand threw my messy hair and kind of smiled at her. "So do you want to go back today? Or maybe we can just call Dan and we can meet up for lunch." I suggested, not knowing where her head stood but I knew that I would go back and face him if she wanted to.

    Her face fell a bit at the suggestion of going back. "No... I don't really feel like going back. At all really." she replied, biting the inside of her cheek. "I don't even know if I want to see Danny even. I don't know if he even knew, but the way all of their faces were... I feel like I was the only one who didn't. And that hurts that one of my best friends would keep something like that from me."

    "That's fine, we don't have to go back. How about we take a day for just you and I! Maybe go down to the beach and get some sun, go get some nice food and do a little shopping! Sound like a plan?" I asked as I stood up. Letting all the blankets fall from my body to reveal me in just my boxers. Trudging out of the room and back to mine I pulled on a pair of shorts and a tank top and walked back into her room. "You up for some room service breakfast? Institutions paying!" I offered as I dug there credit card out of my pocket.

    "I'm sure I'm not a girl! I promise!" I laughed at her as I stuck the card in my pocket and walked over to the phone. "I just want to treat you to the best!" I smiled softly as I picked up the phone and ordered breakfast. Finishing up I hung up the phone and looked back to her. "Maybe we can go out for drinks tonight! I've seen some pretty good bars when we were coming in!" I suggested as I stood up and stretched. Feeling my muscles still tense.

    I looked over at her and just said, "I'm suppose to do this with everyone! Take them out shopping, get to know them! You do realize that your my first real case by myself right?" I asked as I heard a knocked at the door and took the cart of food from the waiter. Slipping him a tip I pulled the cart into the main part of the suite and said loudly, "Breakfast is served!" Thankful that it came before she could ask anymore questions!

    Karmin got up, pulling the blanket off the bed with her as she went to see if her clothes had dried yet. They had, so she dropped the blanket and began to dress. "Eyes on your plate," she told Beckett, but couldn't tell if he was watching or eating as she pulled her shirt over her head.

    "I won't!" I said as I held my hands up like I was surrendering as she started to change. Taking a plate of chocolate chip pancakes and poured syrup on them. Taking a bite as I started to make some coffee. Pulling a mug down for myself and her as I took another bite. Careful not to look over at her so she didn't think I was a perv.

    Karmin came to eat with him after, sitting on the edge of the bed. She grabbed a breakfast sausage and started to chow down. "*Munch munch munch*" her tiger ears perked up on top of her head without her realizing it.

    Finishing up I placed the plate back on the tray as I drank the coffee, "You still up for going out?" I asked as I finished up the coffee and placed the mug in the sink. Going back to my room and fixing my hair. "Man. I need to work out." I said as I looked at my arms and pulled my shirt up to admire my abs. I was buff but I guess I was kind of insecure about it.

    "That's the spirit!" I chuckled as I walked out, my shirt still pulled up slightly as I ran my hand over my chest. Letting my shirt fall as I slipped on a pair of sandals and pulled on a beach hat. "I don't remember the last time I've had a day off!" I chuckled as I grabbed my sunglasses.

    Karmin swallowed, lost as to what to say. "W-we could also stay in," she said breathlessly as she watched him walk around. Those abs of his looked hard as granite and her cheeks went red as blood rushed to her head.

    "YA! I know they have a nice pool here so maybe we could go for a swim? Oh...That might not be the best idea." I said as I remember what happened last time. "Or we can just stay up here and watch some movies!" I offered, seeing her go red I just kind of smirked as I dropped my shirt and sat on the couch. "D@mn...These couch''s are soft." I said as I lay down on one, clutching a pillow to my chest as I looked over at her.
