    Smallleaf raised her head, stretching among the comfortable nest. Hesitantly rising from her nest, she trailed out of the den to bask in the dawning sunlight.


    Raggedheart-whom was awake before dawn-sat in camp patiently. During his waiting, he had eaten a scrawny vole. Ear flicking, he glanced around. I could lead a hunting patrol near the base of the river.


    Thunderpaw raised his head, yawning at the casting lights blasting into the Apprentices' den. Shifting himself upwards, he managed to trail out of the den.

    Ic ♥: Orbit~ I stretched and shook out my fur quickly carefully trying not to wake up Lilac just in case. I trotted out and batted a small mossball I had made yesterday. I glanced at other cats who were waking up making sure the ball didn't go to far to disturb anyone.

    [justify]Whisperstar yawned wide and looked up. The sun was shining through into her den. She squinted and stood up. She padded silently out of her den and sat next to her deputy. "I would like to go on a hunting patrol," she said to him.


    Spiritlily blinked open one eye. Morning already? she thought. She rolled over and rested for another few minutes.


    Cloudpaw woke up bright and early. She bounded over to her mentor. "What are we doing today?" she asked the medicine cat.


    Lilac slowly opened her eyes just in time to watch Orbit escape the nursery. She sighed and closed her eyes again hoping her kit didn't bother the warriors.


    Winterleaf had been awake for a while making sure her kits were asleep soundly. Moonkit and Morningkit are fine, she told herself but she still could fall asleep.[/justify]

    Ic ♥: Orbit~ I watched cats at the main part of the camp. I slowly trotted to the shaded side of the nursery, making sure I wasn't being watched so it didn't look like I was escaping. There was an open space where I could play without bothering the other cats. I batted more roughly at the mossball, knocking it into the nursery wall softly every now and then.

    Raggedheart spun his attention to his leader. Hearing her correctly, he nodded. "Very well." He mewed. "I was planning on leading a hunting patrol near the base of the river. I'm sure prey will be delightedly eating their meals this crisp-yet fine-morning, don't you think?"


    Smallleaf craned her neck, peeking at a hasty squirrel darting past the entrance of the camp. Tail stiffening, she only watched, not making the interest of hurrying out of camp to watch it vanish into the depths of their territory.

    [justify]Whisperstar nodded. She stood. "Arrange 2 borer patrols and a midday hunting patrol incase your not back in time and then we an leave. Who do you think we should take?" she asked.


    Spiritlily finished snoozing and padded outside her den. She sat near the kill pile and awaited orders from the deputy or leader.


    Lilac surpressed a small laugh and closed her eyes again. "You should sleep too," she murmured to Winterleaf.


    Winterleaf flicked her tail pretending to be annoyed. However, she took her friends advice and slowly closed her eyes.

    Raggedheart quietly thought, until a smile appeared among his face. "Spiritlily! I hope you're not too busy? I'd like for you to lead a border patrol along the base of the river, if you can, that is."
    His tail lashed as he caught sight of Smallleaf. He dipped his head, trailing towards the young warrior. "You don't mind leading a hunting patrol at sun high, correct?"
    Smallleaf shook her head, replying flatly. "I can lead one."
    Raggedheart shrugged, making his way back to Whisperstar's side. "Ready?"

    Raggedheart dipped his head gratefully at Spiritlily. Afterwards, he nodded to Whisperstar, trailing out of camp.

    [justify]Spiritlily rounded up a few warriors to take with her. She lead them toward the far border in the opposite direction of the other border patrol.


    Coudpaw gleamed at her mentor.


    Lilac and Winterleaf slept for most of the morning. Winterleaf padded out of her den and layed in the sun. Lilac swept her tail in front of Orbit allowing her to play with it.


    Whisperstar followed Raggedheart, trying to keep her emotions for him in check.

    Raggedheart continued a hurried pace until they arrived at the border. He slowed his pace, beginning to mark the border, and continued this until they were at least halfway at the border.

    Spiritlily scented mouse. She pounced and caught it. She buried it and continued the border patrol.


    Cloudpaw arranged herbs. Low on borrage she hought to her self.


    Lilac and Winterleaf snoozed in the sun.
