"You have to be the most paranoid person at this school." A friend of Jay Wilson said as he opened the door to their high school's band room. Jake gave her a glace as they walked in, "I don't care what you think there is no way something band is going to happen today." Jay didn't look so sure. "Hold on for a second..." She said as she put her tenor saxophone case down and grabbed his shirt sleeve, "Do you not find it odd that the school is completely silent?" He pushed her hand off. "Look," He said as he walked fully into the room with Jay close behind him, "I know how much it bugs you when the band room is silent, that's why I told you we should have waited to leave just a bit longer. What's his? The baritone player guy was right behind when we pulled in. Just give it a min-" He didn't get a chance to finish what he was saying. He suddenly collapsed forward, almost crushing Jay's small form. "What hell, man!" She said as she prevented him from slamming into the ground. That's when she noticed the dart that was sticking out of Jake's back. She jumped to the side out of a gut feeling, hardly avoiding the dart that embedded its self into the wall behind her. "Damn it!" She heard someone say as she quickly jumped forward for the nearest music stand. She was able to block the next in coming dart with it. "Will you not hold still?" Said a man dressed in dark cloths, "I mean it took you long enough to get here you might as well stop delaying things." Jay glanced towards the door, trying to see if she could run out with out getting hit. Her distraction gave the man enough time to throw a large textbox at her, making her duck farther into the room. The door clicked open and both of their gazes shot to the confused looking baritone player that was standing at the door. "Jay is this yours?" He said as he walked in pointing to her case that was on the ground. He then tripped over Jake. Jay lat her guard down long enough for the guy yo put a dart into her arm. "Perfect!" He said as Jay dropped to her knees. "I can capture two birds with one stone..." He aimed for the baritone player that for her life she couldn't remember his name. "Stand aside!" The man said, laughing at what might have his attempt to be funny, "The Music Man is after your musicians!" (Please be the baritone player.)
