    IC: Soul grinned at the remark, swaying his tail. Then, he watched the newcomer's tail touch Ghost's chest, and kept himself from leaping in between the two.


    Ghost nodded slowly, "Y-Yes, we do need help!" Then she looked at her brother, "Isn't that right?"


    The tom nodded, "Well yeah. Just lead us the way."

    Jazmine looked around, her pink collar shaking. She looked down at it, and started to bite at it. After a few struggles, she got to the point where she could tear it off with a swift jerk with her jaws. She gripped the end of it, and it have a satisfying rip and flung off. She shock herself and started looking around again as if nothing had happened.

    Blizzard flicked her white ears to Dee as the fae replied. "Yes, I have broken ribs, severe burns, smoke inhalation, a large gash down my flank, and to top it all off! I'm extremely tired!" She wheezed, though her statement had a tinge of humor and irony.

    Ace sighed and sat down next to a fallen log. Her head dropped and ears flattened against her cranium. Her thoughts began to wander and with a snap she had drifted off into her own little world. She automatically lowered herself to the ground, curling up and drifting off to sleep. The darkness welcoming her as she went under.

    Blizzard chuckled too, happy that she could make Dee laugh. "If we have to go in the forest, I can help catch larger game once I get better." She barked, knowing that they would have to leave soon.

    A long legged kitten paced frantically back and forth, fire closing in on him. "Mother!?" He cried, his voice enveloped by the roaring flames. His black pelt was caked with soot, his eyes purple pools on an obsidian stone. He cried out again, more frantically, but he had to leave. The flames were nearly upon the kitten. Closing his eyes, he dashed out of the flames, just before the flames had enveloped his escape rout. He kept on running, for who knows how long. His pads were bloody and sore, but he persisted, too scared to stop and let the fire envelop him. THUD! The kitten had barreled right into Soul.

    IC: Ghost flinched when she felt a bundle of fur crash into her. The adolescent she-cat looked down at the kit, and gazed into its eyes. "Hello. Where are you from? Where is your mother?"


    Ghost was about to follow the strange cats, until he looked back at his sister, who was speaking to a kit. "Hurry!"

    Silhouette got up from his tumble. "Mother is that-" He cut himself off, "Oh, never mind." He mewed, this wasn't his mother. His purple eyes scanned the two cats fearfully. "Please don't hurt me!" He squeaked, unknowingly backing up.... into the fire.

    Onyx looked back, hearing Bullet's desperate, tired barks. She had run too fast, though that didn't really surprise her; she was probably one of the fastest dogs in the city. She was just about to dart back into the flaming maze when she heard a soft, barely audible whine. Her dark brown eyes flashed in the light, catching the sight of the multi-colored fae a little farther down the stream. "I found her!!" the Greyhound howled to Bullet, hopefully relieving him most of his worry. Onyx darted over to the lying body, sniffing her wet and burned pelt. "C'mon.. please be fine.." she murmured quietly, nudging the hunting dog.


    "Umm.. she looks kinda like me, but she's smaller and her ears are floppy.." Bandit tried to explain, but the worried pup didn't sit still as he spoke; instead he was sniffing the ground, trying to track the younger sibling. She can't have gone too far.. he thought, trying to comfort himself. Probably just went off after a squirrel and'll be right back..


    (I think I might have to kill off a few of my charries.. perhaps I'll have Kaylee die, trying to save a couple of pups or something..)
