The basic description
The Aztecs is a group of dogs and cats that live together in a ancient (and hidden) Aztec temple. At one point, humans had lived in these ruins. Now they are gone and, with help from the gods, the Aztecs are becoming a strong and powerful tribe/clan! (Yes, when we RP we will RP as if the clan/tribe was barely starting)
There Beliefs
The Aztecs believe in Sol, the sun goddess (cat), Luna, the moon god (chihuahua), Estrella, the mother of life (cat), and, the most hated god, Tramposo, the god of death, lieing, and tricksters (chihuahua). The most important god is Estrella who gave her life to create every breathing and living creature on earth. She lives on in every living thing, more in some then others. Next is her sister, Sol, who is more beautiful then any one of Estrella's creations. She was the one who killed Estrella out of jealousy. After Sol is Luna who fell in love with Sol. Every day he chases Sol who runs from him in shame. Last is Tramposo, Luna's brother, who loved Estrella more then anything else. When she died his heart turned cold and he came up with a plan to bring Estrella back to him. His plan was to kill every living thing on earth since that was what kept Estrella on earth. His plan did not work since he could only kill one thing at a time, though he still tries to get his beautiful Estrella back.
Note: Luna is the moon and Sol is the sun.
Positions
The highest position is Chief who enforces the rules and does the ceremony's. The Chiefs name usually starts with Jefe. Next in charge is the Deputy who enforces the rules and helps the Chief make decisions. After deputy are the two Doctors. The first Doctor is the Med Doctor who's job is to take care of the more younger patients and Queens. Med Doctors tend to be more gentle then most. Next is the Witch Doctor who takes care of all the Warriors. There attitudes tend to be like 'Don't be such a kit!' and 'Just suck it up and deal with it.' But, out of all these high positions there is one that exceeds the others. This is the Seeker who MUST BE BLIND! The Seeker talks to the gods and is usually the one who has the finall say in every thing. He/she is worshipped by the whole Clan/Tribe and any one who disrespects the Seeker is punishable by DEATH!

Now, let me just say the whole 'Warrior' thing depends on the Chief who will give you a necklace that was made by the Elders that says if your either a Puma or Eagle. 'Teachers' are like mentors. Learners are like apprentices. All apprentices names begin with 'Saber' and all kits and pups names begin with 'Bebe'. When they become warriors they lose the 'Saber' part and are left with just there origanal name.
Some Basic Ceremonies
Weddings:
This is a simple ceremony that must be performed in order for mates to become official mates. In this clan/tribe, mates are forever unless you break your bond by talking to the Seeker who will either approve or deny your request.
Learners to Warriors:
The young Learner, who will be covered in mud, will stand by there Teacher. When the Chief asks "Do you really need a Teacher, Warrior?" The Learner will come and stand in front of the Chief as the Chief tells every one witch Warrior (puma, eagle, etc.) the learner will be apart of. Lastly they will get there necklace and lose the 'Saber' part of there name.
The Sacrifice:
This ceremony is not very rare but not so commen. Only the Seeker can chose who will be sacrificed. This person is then killed in front of the whole clan, there blood dranked by all warriors. and that's all it is!

Like I siad earlier, this is a clan/tribe of dogs AND cats. When I say 'dogs' I mean a certian breed. That breed is the CHIHAUHAU! Only these type of dogs will beexcepted. One more thing, your charcters name HAS TO BE IN SPANISH!!! If you need help with this then either go to Google Translate or, if you have to, ask me for the spanish version of the name you want and I'll give it to you Names can either be one word, two words, or three words, depending on you.

Respond to this as if it were a regular post; Jefe Pájaro stepped out of his den enjoying the warm and hot desert sun on his long fur. He had just woken up from a long, horrible nap and was EXTREMLY grumpy. If any one were to yell at him from afar or if they touched, let alone TACKLED him, hwe would either ignore them or punish them horribly. All of a sudden a giant eagle is preparing to swoop down and, possibly, take the leader. Jefe Pájaro sits down with his eyes closewd not noticing the big bird...
