It is usually in the quietest of places where the strangeness attacks. A small town -- right on the water -- is where it attacked the hardest. The town's name need not matter -- for, as I recall, it was rather plain and ordinary in comparison to it's invasive inhabitants. Yes, these creatures did not originate from our plane of existence -- at least, for the sake of my sanity I will believe this. No, I will refuse to believe that these abominations were born in the same way as you and I, my dear. I have never seen any up close, just in passing glimpses in the corner of my eye. They do not wish to be seen -- and no sane man should wish to see them.

    With Love,

    Detective Thomas Valew

    ___________

The pale, humanoid creature crouched over it's (her?) kill. It's stitched mouth never uttered a word nor opened to consume the meat it had so violently taken. The beast covered itself in a fur cloak, keeping it's chest and abdomen bare. The eye embedded in her chest was closed at the moment. The creature tilted it's head and straightened the deer's neck. It was broken and it didn't want to see it that way. The tendrils it possessed laid curled up under her cloak, hidden from sight. The kill was in bad shape, it's belly sliced open from neck to tail, the contents of which laid out for the world to see. The creature scratched it's sheeplike horns as it pretended to think.

Suddenly -- the sound of a twig breaking broke the sound of gentle waves.

    Notes and Rules:

Your character must be unique between all other characters in game. It makes the rp more interesting.
This is a supernatural rp. Rp any monster (no animals preferably) or human you desire. My only restrictions is that they must be of your own creation and follow general RP etiquette.
I left out details on purpose. The story will move and develop with everyone's involvement. The jist is that there a monsters tormenting a beach town. So there's that.
    Have fun!

    Mine:

  • Name: Cohra I. Striker
    Gender: Female
    Species: Angel/Demon cross
Age: 17(Well, she looks like it... She's actually around 1200)
Appearance: (Does not have to be a picture)
Abilities: Often called an angel of balance, she can make your decisions, bets and other things go horribly wrong. Other than that, she seems rather normal, but with great fighting skills.
Flaws: She can be a little picky and agitated when things aren't symmetrical and gets annoyed rather easily with people in general, and would much rather be alon than with others. This is a result of Aspergers Syndrome.

    Other: N/A

  • Name: Vixen
    Gender: Female
    Species: supposedly Human
    Age: 14
Appearance: (Does not have to be a picture) (I'll draw one out later. Honestly, I need to excessive.)
Abilities: telekinesis, combined with a sickeningly sadistic creativity
Flaws: As previously mentioned, she is a sadist; She is extremely cocky and almost abusive in her disregards for others; She is very easily distracted and impulsive, which is even worse a flaw when you consider the fact that her abilities depends on focus.
Other: Hey, I don't mean to be rude, but Colorfight, your character "flaw" annoys me greatly. The thing is, that's not what OCD is, at all. As someone who has family with actual Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, I implore you to better research the disorder. It's not "neat-freak" disorder.

  • (Thank you.)

"Vixen" had never been the most attentive person in the world. She wasn't stupid, just lost. Both in real life and in her own little world. It was the only explanation as to why such an intelligent young woman would walk alone in the woods, and get close to such a savage monster.
That, and she was confident in her abilities to defend herself.
Vixen stared back at the demonic beast. God, what an ugly freak, she thought as she stared back at the bloody mess. It looked like something out of a six year old's attempt at a Creepypasta monster or something.
Still, the fear factor in this scene was far more appreciated that the aforementioned monster doodle. That didn't stop Vixen, however, from snickering a little bit. The beast couldn't touch her, not with her abilities, so why would she be afraid of such a gory scene? Plus, the kill was too messy to be taken seriously. The creature couldn't have been sentient, therefore it wouldn't be offended by her reaction to its grotesque appearance.
So she thought, at any rate.

  • (Haha creepypasta tho?)

The creature stole a glance at the girl. Her ringed eyes revealed only a mix of shock and interest. Who was she? What was she? Did she have a name? Did she wear funny clothes like the other girls? Mind tilted her head as she pondered this. She cocked her head to the side. The creature glanced back at the deer. Her ears drooped. Hmm. No no, something wasn't right about this. She rubbed her hands together, forming thread from the inky substance they were formed from. The creature got to work.

Mind slowly but forcefully stuffed the deer's insides back into the deceased animal. It was sloppy but it should have worked. The creature threaded the sides of the gaping wound, repairing the mess she had made. When she had finished the picked up the animal with her hands and gestured for the stranger to take it.

    It was a gift.

  • (To avoid flooding, I'm going to wait a day or so for Colorflight's reply. If she doesn't, then I'll just go on as normal.)

  • Sorry for Inactivity))

Cohra perched on the top of a building, watching the slow movement of the city pass her by. She payed close attention to the details of the landscape. A slow breeze hit her, and She took off into the sky, gliding over the dimly lit sky and aking the windstream into the mountains, where there wouldn't be any hunters coming after her. Well, she hoped there wouldn't be.

  • "Aww...Thanks, buddy," Vixen replied, a bit put off. "I'll just stock it next to my other collection of animal heads. Or is that a liver?" Her nose twitched a little from the stench.
"I'll...just leave you to that, okay?" She had reached out for the piece of the carcass until common sense took over. "You look like you'll need to eat that more that I do."

(Oh, Colorflight, you're back. :D Did you make the changes I asked? I really hate to be pushy, but OCD is not something to just joke about, nor is it "neat-freak disorder.")

  • Mind gave the girl a sad look but nodded anyway. "Okay." She said in the same voice a disappointed child would give a parent after giving in. The creature poked at the carcass with the tendril, wrapped the appendage around it's leg and pulled it back towards her. "What is your name?" It asked, brightening up a bit.

  • Oh gosh, Sorry! I must have use the wrong condition. I was in a huge rush to complete my form, and I was a little out of sorts that day as well. Fixing now. Sorry again!))

Cohra scanned the horizon, glancing pack and forth from the town to the mountains and back again. As she had always told her brother, before he was killed, watch your back or someone will stick a knife into it. It came to show that he didn't take her advice, and now she was alone. The Angel-Demon cross eyes behind her cautiously before entering her cave-like home, which was really just a lean-to placed aside a small stone outcropping. Cohra watched out the entrance like a hawk, attentive and cautious, before taking a match and lighting a fire to warm her up. The cold air had nearly frozen her wings, and flying as high as she did was no help.

  • Hey! Can I join and is this creature taken?

  • ((Heh well he can still be intelligent but being able to solve every possible problem is a bit excessive. Also with the "fear inducing" -- generally powers that alter the mind of other player's characters without their consent are not exactly suited for rp, sorry! Remedy that and you will be accepted!))

  • Still, what Inksick is trying to say is that's just a bit too much.

Not only has the creature only been alive only thirteen years, but no one can solve everything/figure everything out. Not only is this impossible (ESPECIALLY for a young teen), but it makes for a pretty bad Roleplay character.

Also, how is he both emotional and doesn't show emotion?

You may want to think more about the plausibility of the character, instead of how cool he is to you. Just a tip.
