Fluttershy woke with a start, sitting up in her bed. She panted heavily as she looked around the room, only then remembering that she had invited the girls over for a stay the night before. They were all spread out in the small, cute room. Twilight slept in a corner, Pinkie Pie not far away. Apple Jack slept with her back leaned against the wall, her hat covering her face. Rarity slept in a mountain of pillows, her hooves crossed in a fancy manner. Fluttershy smiled softly as she looked at her friends. Then.. she noticed one missing. Where is Rainbow Dash...? she thought as she now noticed a hoof draped over her torso. She slowly moved her eyes to the right of her, her 'lost' friend now being found. Rainbow Dash slept with he hoof over Fluttershy's body, snoring quietly. Fluttershy instantly turned red and she couldnt help but freak. With a flap of her wings, Fluttershy pushed herself out of the other mare's embrace. She landed on the ground, her rum banging against her floor. Her blush stayed on her face. Oh no.. Oh no... Oh no.. I really like Dashie and.... just... Oh No! She wrapped her wings around herself, the bubbly feeling not going away. I... I hope I didnt wake any pony... mostly not... She shook herself, her mane swishing slightly.

'Thump' A loud noise came from front of Rainbow Dash. "Hmmm?" She said softly. As she opened her sleepy eyes she made out Fluttershy's red face. "Are you okay Fluttershy? What are you doing on the ground?" She asked looking down at the pony.

'... I-I was uh..." Oh, come on Fluttershy, Think! "..m-making sure the floor wasny to cold for Pinkie Pie!" The yellow mare finished nervously, her body slightly shaking. She didnt look at the cyan pony at all; she made her hair cover her face more than it usually did. Oh, please some other pony wake up!

"Don't be silly! I don't think the floor could be cold in spring!" She said brightly to Fluttershy. Dashie's silly smile played on her face. "Lets go out for some kind of midnight flight, eh?" She said, streaching her wings out.

"M-midnight flight..?" Thats when Fluttershy noticed that, in fact, it was dark outside. She shook her head. "N-no Rainbow... I uhm... Im afraid of the dark.." This wasnt entirely a lie but.. she had to say something.

"Ohh, come on! I swear I wont leave you alone out there. and you can take a light if you want! Come on it will be fun!!" She said jumping up and holding her self in the sky.

Fluttershy now felt trapped. "Well I-" she stopped "I just-" she stopped again, sighing heavily in defeat. "...O-okay Rainbow Dash..." She whispered. She stood up and turned around, her wings flat against her sides. She opened her bedroom door quietly, not wanting to wake the others. Well... I do... but... on their own... they deserved their sleep. She walked out into the hall of her small cottage, moving her way to the living room. She glanced behind her, her face still somewhat red.

Fluttering along behind her. Dash was humming quietly. "Lets go! I really need a good stretch!" she said happily flying out of the house. She hovered just outside.

Fluttershy flapped slowly out after her, her hooves hanging in the air. "Where will we go..?" she asked quietly, not looking at the mare. She shut her eyes gently and took in a long breath, enjoying the night air that she was greeted with. She made a small smile, keeping her eyes closed.

"Lets just fly round" She said as she started to move towards the town.

Fluttershy nodded and flapped after her, keeping a decent distance away from the other- not to close but not to far away. She kept her gaze down as her thoughts raced. She thought about her friends, her animals, the feeling of Rainbow Dash's foreleg around her, What chores she would have to do this wee- Wait! What!. She instantly went red once more. She made a small sound and shut her eyes tight. No, Fluttershy! Shes your friend.. thats it!

Rainbow Dash keep looking back at her friend. She was meant to be open about everything but one thing. What she thought of Fluttershy. Why did the filly have to be so cute!?

Fluttershy watched the ground below her, noticing that there were no ponies out and about. Of course not, Fluttershy... Its about Midnight... She slowly flapped down to the ground below, looking around. "You can go on ahead Rainbow... you know... if you want..." she said quietly, finally placing her eyes on the mare for the first time. She instantly blushed and looked away. Oh, Fluttershy, Youre behaving like a filly!

"Nah, Its nice just flying along side you" she said looking back at the yellow pony.

Fluttershy's blush deepened. "D... dont say that...." she whispered to herself before getting back up in the air with her head down. She didnt want to trouble any pony... and staying on the ground, she knew, wasnt what Rainbow wanted to do.

"Come on lets fly" she said as she started of slowly.

Fluttershy flew after her, unknowingly closer to the mare than she was before. The wind blew against her as she continued to fly, her gaze going to the moon.

Dashie looked back to see her looking up at the moon. She spun back round, blushing heavily. Dam feelings.

Fluttershy, out of the corner of her eye, saw the other mare glance at her then direct her gaze somewhere else quite swiftly. This troubled her. Is she okay..? She gained speed, now next to the pony. "Rainbow Dash.. Are you okay..?" her voice was soft and gentle. "Do you want to fly higher..? Or maybe faster..?" Fluttershy didnt enjoy that so much but.. she knew it would make Dashie feel at least a bit better... you know.. if she was upset.

"No, I'm fine. Just think about stuff" she said with a heavy sigh. She hated not knowing what to do. Why did she have to be so confusing? She wished so badly she knew what to do. 'Help' she interinly called.
