"You good for nothing mousebrain, you should have died from the age you were born!" he cowered away from the other larger, harsh looking cat. He didn't dare hit back... yet his heart clutched together in fear. Pain erupted everywhere as he felt claws hit him. He jerked up panting in the darkness of the night; upon a tree outside.

Why could it never leave me? Another night of the memory of his father striking at him... one of his last memory of the abusive parent tainted with blood of torment. They had left the clan when he was barely a kit and just before that they had bared all their hatred upon him. Brackenfur, his mentor had told him once that they had left to join the loner lands... he knew better; both his parents had betrayed his clan with a traiterous mark branded upon their fur.

Mist blew from all sides of the apprentice as he dropped down from the branches, running down towards the plains to try to free himslf of the thoughts. Thinking that if he used up his energy, the truth would be in fact what it had been, only a nightmare and nothing more. He hoped. But... he knew that was not so....

He forced back his fustrated tears (rare upon the cat) and tried to overcome the anger with his usual calmness and positiveness; he was hardly aware of anyone around him as he crouched by the lake, trying to stay strong.

  • "Are you alright? I'm sorry of this blight." Hachiko murmured, drifting over with a pained expression. So much sadness, and there was really nothing he could do! Just sit there, and watch. He was good at sitting there, and watching. Watching and waiting for something to happen, for them to get better or fall off a cliff on purpose, but why would you try to take away your life when you've come this far?

The Honorguard by the name of Shiftingallegiances walked over. Her silver-grey eyes looked over to Moonpaw. She could see he was mourning or angry. The two emotions could become deadly similar, and could even connect with each other wether close enough.

When at last he felt their prescence, he raised his head and spoke quietly "Thankyou Hachiko", he smiled though weakly. He tried to say more to his clanmates, ShiftingAlliance and Hachiko, but he couldn't; his mind was too occupied by the emotions that was tearing him apart.
"I shall not give in to this hatred" he muttered to himself bitterly, shaking his head. The curse of that one element made him see more spirits around him, muttering Join us, this life is nothing but hate, anger, and negativity... nothing more... join us... serve us...

One with the sight may know who these spirits were, but he couldn't help but gasp. He recoiled feeling darkness seep into his mind already.
