The fair had opened not too long ago, in a small town with not very many people. In a large arena near the east side of this fair was where the dog show was held. Tess, one of the main dogs, along with several others were being unloaded from their kennels.
Tess growled as her trainer tugged on the leash, attempting in vain to get her out of her cage. There is absolutely no way I am setting one paw on that filthy ground... Tess argued. Her trainer, Amy, brought out Tess' favourite disc and tossed it in the opposite direction if the kennel. Tess just couldn't resist, she sprang up and out of her cage, bounding swiftly after the flying disc. She leaped and caught it cleanly within her jaws, but soon realized her mistake. Ah! My beautiful coat, ruined! She whined, turning her head to look at the dirt settling on her nicely-groomed fur. The rich chocolate brown turning to a light sandy color. She shook it out, then slunk back to the others and collapsed dramatically in the grass, sighing.
