"oh my god babe, i just got sam's phone number!" a happy-go-lucky, bouncy woman about tae's age bounced in, smiling at her friend. she pulled out her phone and showed tae happily, then looked over at the couch, almost dropping her phone. i blinked and stared at her. she opened her mouth, but only shut it again and looked from me to tae and back again. "i... didn't know you had company..."

the girl, zara, blinked and finally tore her eyes away from ajax, clearing her throat. "yeah... about that... emily isn't happy... like, she really wanted to see you yesterday..." she eventually looked at ajax again, who was trying to sink into the couch and disappear forever. zara leaned over and whispered. "is your your boyfriend?"
"i'm not crazy!" ajax intervened, hidden under the blankets. "i'm just not very sane!" zara giggled and raised an eyebrow at her friend. "not really? what does that mean?" she inquired.
zara blinked and slowly smirked. her smirk fell however, and she shrugged lightly. "why wouldn't it work? he kind of looks like a bum..." she giggled. "I AM NOT A BUM, MADAM," ajax yelped from under the blankets, making zara laugh hysterically.
zara wiped tears from her eyes and giggled softly. her face soon grew serious and she crossed her arms. "how much do you know about him? how old is he? where does he live?" she began spitting out questions.
zara smirked and promptly sauntered over to the couch, poking the lump that was ajax. ajax squirmed and pulled the blanket off his head, blinking at the girl. she smiled and kicked her shoes off. "mind if i join you?" she asked, but gave ajax no choice or chance to answer and just crawled on top of his chest, snuggling under the blankets with him. she began asking him questions like, "where are you from? how old are you? do you have a girlfriend?" and ajax stayed completely silent, unsure of what to do.
ajax gave tae a small, pitiful look that clearly said, 'help me'. but instead of saying anything, he simply just began answering zara's questions quietly. the other female began running a finger along his chest, making him widen his eyes lightly. he looked at tae and mouthed the words. 'help me'.
ajax let out a breath when zara finally got off him. she giggled lightly and blew a kiss to him. "seeya cutie!" she wiggled her fingers and swayed out the door. ajax furrowed his brows and slowly slunk under the blankets again. "alright... bye..." he said timidly, afraid of being smothered again.
ajax looked up from the pile of leaves, his ears flicking forward. tae was home! he barked happily and bounded inside the house as a wolf, jumping around her and leaping about, nuzzling her and licking her hands happily.
ajax's ears went down as she mentioned zara. he didn't really... like her... she was pretty and all, but way too touchy. the wolf pawed at the ground happily as he was pet, liking the feeling of tae's soft hands.
