history Castleclan was funded by Morningdew. Morningdew was born into a clan named Waveclan. This clan strived for many moons until peril struck. A tsunami came and wiped out the entire clan, well almost the entire clan. Early before the tsunami struck, Morningdew had gotten into a fight with her mate. She ran away from the clan to be alone for awhile. She ran far enough inland, to be safe from the large tsunami that had struck her home. The she-cat spent the night in an abandoned cave, and walked back to her home the next day, to find it destroyed. The feline spent many nights grieving over her lost clan, until one day, she got up and left. She had a dreamed of building a new clan, and after many weeks of traveling, she found a nice forest and settled down in an old abandoned Victorian Mansion. From there, Morningdew asked for Starclan to grant her permission to lead this new clan. Her name was changed to Morningstar and she was granted her nine-lives. Then Castleclan was born. clan territory Castleclan lives in a old Victorian Mansion located within a forest. The mansion is very pretty. The outside has a wrap around porch and you can spot a balcony sprouting from the top of the house. It is all white and shows just the slightest bit of age, as though it had been abandoned recently. It has a very large yard with a pond. The pond is inhabited with all sorts of fish. There is a raised pathway leading to the middle of a pond where a broken down fountain lays. This is where the Monarch comes to pray to Starclan. Besides the pond and the yard, the rest of the mansions surroundings are forest. inside the mansion Inside the house, there are four floors. When you walk inside you find yourself in the commons area. On this floor is where the kitchen, meeting room, lounge, and library are located. The kitchen, pretty self-explanitory, is where the clan stores food and eats food. You are welcome to eat at anytime of the day or night. The meeting room is where the Monarch hosts meetings. A large desk is centered in the back of the room and the Monarch sits on top of that to address the clan. The lounge is basically what humans call the "family room". Plush couches and chairs are placed throughout the room for cats to sit on. There is a fire place off to the left side of the room and in the middle is a grand staircase leading to the second floor. The first floor also holds a library, filled to the brim with all different kinds of books. On the right side of the grand staircase in the lounge is another flight of stairs leading downwards to the basement. The basement holds the ballroom, a bathroom, and the Shaman's office. The short stairway leads straight into the ballroom. [the password is mansion] Castleclan will host parties and large events here. Of to the left of the room is where the bathrooms are. There are two. A ladies room and a mens room. Off to the right of the room is where the Shaman's office is located. It is quite roomy inside. Old cabinets line the walls and that is where the Shamans store all of their supplies. There are beds spread out across the room for the sick or injured to sleep in. On the second floor of the mansion is large hallway where the Knights room, Ladies room, Trainees room and Patriarch rooms are located. The first room on the right is the Knights room. The first one on the left is the Trainees room. The second one on the right is the Patriarch room. The second on on the left is the Ladies room. They all look the same with the same king-sized bed in each room, the same comfy chairs, the same soft carpet and cushions. They only room that is slightly different is the Ladies room which has a crib for the kits to sleep in. Kits only sleep with there mother until 2 moons, then they move to the crib. At the end of the hallway is another staircase leading to the Monarch and Delegates rooms. The Monarch and Delegates rooms are the biggest rooms in the house, with the exception of the ballroom. Each rooms are exactly the same, except for the Monarch room has the balcony. Each room also has it's own crib if they have kits. The Monarch's and Delegate's mates are also allowed to sleep in their room if they would like. [/fancypost] |
