Faylen kept her eyes averted, the humans didn't know their ways, to look into another wolf's eyes was rude. "I was treated unfairly but this world is unkind in somethings. I need to be getting home soon. I will take the ruppes back if you insist but I don't want to be labeled as a theif."

"You will not be labeled as a thief, I will deal with my father" Spoke the man as he averted his eyes to the ground. He turned and began to walk away before turning again and speaking "next time anyone is unfair to you let me know okay?" before she could speak he was gone
-
"Wha-" she spoke up but he was gone. She stood a little dumbfounded before frowning and turned to leave. "Goddess protect me." Faylen reverted back to her tongue. Slowly, she walked back, unsure how to feel. This man, he intrigued her but also made her squirm uneasily. As she walked into camp she noticed ivory giving mom her shawl. Fae walked up to them, "Do you like it mother?" The mother nodded and Fae smiled softly.
-
Ivory was excited to see the glee in their mother's soft eyes. It was not an emotion they saw much lately being that times were hard in the village. Food being harder and harder to find and members of the pack becoming increasingly aggressive. Mating season was coming upon them and any woman who was without a mate was to report to the red tent. The red moon was getting closer and upon that night any unfertilized woman would go through their bleeding while the Fertilized women would rejoice in the feast of the child with the elderly mothers who could no longer bear children
-
Faylen sighed, there was still much to do today, but the day was weaning. "Ivy the sun is almost set, would you like one last run in the forest before we have to go to bed?" She was eager to tell her sister what happened, and she had planed on keeping the ruppes for herself to get another shawl for ivy.
-
Ivy put a big smile on her face for she loved to run. Dusk and Dawn are her favorite times of day, the colors that shoot across the wide sky filled her soul with with warmth and longing. She doesn't know it but she was conceived at dusk and born at dawn. Ivy began to run playfully across the village accidentally bumping into several workers and a tent post as she looked back for her sister to see she was skillfully following her with grace and precision.
-
She rolled her eyes and once they got out of the village into the forest, she shifted. Her wolf head gracefully looked behind her at the village and howled softly and quietly. Darlin waited for her sister to shift, and once she did, she jogged through the brush of the forest jumping over logs when needed. Fae stopped at the lake to drink as the sun lowered and reflected its color hues onto the lake.
-
Ivy jumped over fae into the lake, splashing all around and making plenty of noise. She stopped a moment and splashed her sister right in the face then made a little wolf chuckle
-
Her face dropped wet as she glared at her sister before jumping into the lake beside her. She looked up hearing footsteps and growled smelling the human from before who gave her the ruppes back. She flattened her ears against her head and braced her les into the ground softly.
-
Ivory glared her white fangs at the boy and let a warning growl slip out her lips. The boy looked up from his fishing poll and saw the two wolves, not knowing who they were he was frightened. The sun was sinking through the sky so much that he could barly see the wolves but they could see him. Most of all he heard them.
-
Enough Ivory he isn't hurting us. Let us take our leave. the only real problem was they had to walk past him to get home. She snarled once and looked him in the eyes as they walked past, knowing he was frightened. Fae quickened her pace, suddenly wanting to get home.
-
Ivory was upset their run had been cut short so while fae was not looking she wandered off deeper into the forest down the trails she walked often that had been long forgotten. The man had followed fae back tword camp while Ivy continued to wander, her trails now lit by the light of the moon
-
Faylen was unaware her sister had left, she was more concerned on getting home. She reached the edge of camp and shift quietly before looking behind her and not seeing Ivy. "Ivy!" She shouted walking back into the forest, and she bumped into the human boy, slightly falling into his arms as she tripped on a stick. "Ooph!" She said.
-
The man caught Ivy in his arms and put her back on her feet. Knowing now that she was one of the wolves he had seen at the lake. He asked and what do i owe for this unexpected meeting? It is nice too see you again but I never got your name
-
"Unexpected?" She said a bit bitterly to him. "How did you get here?" Fae asked him setting herself up straight again. She had hoped to never see him again, but it feels as though that wasn't going to happen. What was with this boy? She thought to herself.
-
"I was just fishing out by the lake minding my own business when 2 wolves showed up and scared my dinner for tonight" he said leaning closer to fae, taking a step closer then turning around completely and running a hand slowly through his soft spiky hair. "I followed the wolves because i was curious and one ran away from the other so i followed the one i could keep up with" he leaned onto a tree with his arm crossing over top his head and gazed deeply at the moon
-
Fae bit her lip softly, intrigued by the mysterious man. "My name is Faylen, Fae for short. Why did you follow me?" She looked at him, studying him, before looking up at the moon as well. She couldn't elp but be curious about the boy, he was new to her and she loved new and spontaneous things. Adventures were fun, and he seemed like a new one. Faylen couldn't help but breathe in his scent and small smile played across her lips, he smelt good.
-
The man turned again twords fae quickly and silent as the wind, untill face to face he smiled and said "Xavier". At that they heard two wolves howling in the distance and he walked back through the night.

She couldn't help but let out the breath she didn't know she was holding, this man, Xavier, captivated her. Fae bit her lip almost wishing they had kissed. She shifted back into a wolf and howled sweetly to the moon, half hoping he could hear. Faylen trodden back into camp to see Ivory there and she switched once more back into human.
-fade for night-
-is now day-
Faylen woke up to the sun shinning in her tent. Lazily she rolled over and climbed out of her bed. She judged Ivory softly, "wake up the sun is up."
-
Ivory rolled over and flopped out of bed. Landing on the floor she let out a moan that turned into a sharp growl. "let. me. sleep." was her only response as she ripped her blanket off her bed and cuddled into it, on the floor.
