"I won't rest unless I know your okay." She murmurs, rubbing her head against his shoulders. "You need to eat too. Or you'll be I'll."

He sighs and nods a bit. "I'll go get some prey. The I will rest." He promises. Standing to leave, the tom moves his head a bit to test his stability.

Cougar makes her nest a little bigger, lining it with feathers from past prey. She nestles into her side as she waits for the tom.

He returns with a squirrel and a rabbit, setting the squirrel aside in case Flame wakes. He then settles with Cougar, setting the rabbit down to share.

Cougar sniffed it, "What is this?" She mews, waiting for him to start.

"Rabbit" he replies, taking a bite.

cougar eats a little of it, being sick she didn't have much of an appetite. She watches her friend eat quietly, waiting for him to share tongues with her.

He finished, closing his eyes momentarily. He reopened them and carefully groomed her pelt, minding wounds and such.

Cougar purrs out of habit, starting to clean his clod pelt carefully. She took special care of his neck and cheeks, eyes drooping sleepily

Soft pyers escape the tom as well, his grooming continuing.

Cougar feel her purrs rumble louder as she rests her chin on his shoulder, starting to doze happily

He keeps grooming her, listening to her purr

Cougar wakes a little and nuzzles him, her head tucked under his when she finally dozes off. Her tail twining with his subconsciously

He drifts to sleep soon after, lulled to sleep by her presence

Cougar shivers when she wakes the next morning, she would have to start covering the entrance to their tiny den. She nestles closer to Screechcall in the mean time, purring softly at their shared warmth

ScreechCall is still fast asleep, obviously content here with her.

Cougar purrs at him and cleans his dirty coat, being careful of his wounds

His eyes open and he blinks, turning his head to look at her. He's nomentarily confused before he purrs and gently nuzzles her cheek.

Cougar nuzzles him back happily, "Morning!" She peeps cheerfully, licking at his shoulder gently
