Bluebell dipped her head to Wingfoot. But inside claws of hatred raked over her heart. These BloodClan cats were not simple stories queens told their kits to make them behave. They were real; flesh and blood; cruel and merciless. She knew she was in no such condition, and the likeliness of such an event would be quite low, but she longed to slice her claws through the ocelot's belly, kill all of them!

At the sight of Bluebell the little calico swiftly raced over with pleasure. All her clanmates she had been taken away from.....they were here once more.Tears of sheer joy ran down her elegant face as she nuzzled Bluebell."Bluebell! I'm so happy to see you again."she purred in joy.Koikit had been only a moon old when she first met Bluebell with her twin sister, Fawnkit.
-
Ochrepaw woke up after a small nap and tried to stand, padding over to join the others. It was still raining, but not as hard as it had been earlier. His pelt was frizzy though, from being wet, and he was still rather uncomfortable. But it was better than sitting by himself in the elder's den.
-
But before the warrior could reply Koikit was off again.Soon enough the little calico was beside Ochrepaw, grooming the fur she could reach."Who would dare hurt somebody as brave as you Ochrepaw?"she whispered, giving her fur a shake as rain dappled her coat.
-
"Whoever those cats were, I guess," Ochrepaw sighed, looking around the clearing to see if Lunecry was still around. He didn't see her, so maybe she'd gone off to hunt or something. He'd get to talk to her later though if she wasn't too busy. For now he could just mingle with the others. He turned back to Koikit, smiling. "They won't get a chance to do it again though. If they ever dare show their faces here again, they'll be facing all of WindClan... and no cat can stand up against us!"
-
"I'm just glad I escaped those mean twolegs Ochrepaw. They tried to turn me into a yucky kittypet!"she mewed, lashing her tail.Yet again she gave her fur a shake, "Yuck, I'm getting all wet! How can RiverClan like getting wet?"
-
Ochrepaw chuckled. "Well you could always go into the elder's den. It's nice and dry in there." He flicked his tail towards the stony cavern where he'd been taking refuge earlier. "There really isn't anywhere else to go for now... Hopefully the gorse will come back soon and we can rebuild the nursery and apprentice's dens."
-
"I'll be ok, I wanna keep you warm."chirped Koikit.Koikit remembered what a kittypet with a strange accent had told her that koi were a symbol of good fortion. She wondered why this was she was able to find her clanmates once more even through all the bad luck she had had two moons ago."....I missed you Ochrepaw.I thought I'd never get to see one of my friends again."
-
"Ochrepaw...you're up!" Lunecry had only just come back from doing more hunting. She had dropped off her prey, quite appropriately a rabbit, as they were the most common prey on the downs, over near a makeshift freshkill area and gone back to see how the apprentice was. "How're you feeling?"
-
"Yeah, I missed you too. I wasn't sure if you'd ever be coming back..." Ochrepaw didn't know Koikit too well, but he cared about all of his Clan mates. "We've been through a lot. All of us. But that's what makes us the best Clan in the forest, right? I can tell you'll be a good warrior some day. I'm still an apprentice and all... but you definitely have what it takes from my point of view. Hey, maybe I'll even be a warrior by then and I'll get to mentor you!" Grinning, Ochrepaw pondered the thought. He was getting close to warrior age, but he would need a new mentor. He'd ask Dreamstar about that when he had the time.
-
"What? Of course I was coming back. I was out hunting." Lunecry crossed the grass and nuzzled him. Drawing back away she paused when they were almost touching noses. "We are the best clan in the forest, of that I never had a doubt. And maybe *I'll* get to mentor *you.*"
-
OOC - I meant for my post to be directed towards Koikit... I didn't see that you'd posted before I did. Oops! x) Sooo... I'll just act like he just noticed her.
IC - "Hi Lunecry," he greeted the other she-cat as she came over to join them. "I'm doing a lot better I think. The wounds have healed up a little, I think. I'll have Ambrosiapaw look at them again later to make sure though. How was your hunting trip?" He smiled at his friend, who'd he'd gotten quite close to over the past few days. She'd been more helpful to him than any cat had been in his life. That definitely counted for something.
-
Koikit couldn't help but laugh with amusement."Maybe.I'll be turning four moons soon."she chirped. When she caught Lunecry's scent her ears perked up, tail held high."Hi Lunecry, remember me?"she giggled.Koikit had often liked hiding in the warriors' den when playing hide and seek with her twin, Fawnkit.Often she choice to hide between or behind somebody or something but often hid under bedding.
-
"Hello," Bluebell meowed. But the kit wasn't there. She glared at her legs, wanting to join the excited kit. It was wet, but the she-cat cared for all her Clanmates and would die for any of them. A deep rumble started in her throat, and she forgot her pain for a moment.
-
Easternkit glanced towards Koikit. He didn't really understand what was going on with her and. . . well he hadn't been paying attention very well. He walked over to the she-cat[Bluebell], whose name he didn't know. Apparently she was in WindClan - whatever that meant. It was wet and he was glad that the she-cat had some shelter - she looked hurt. Again he wondered what was wrong with her and her legs, and how it had happened. He cleared his throat and gazed at her. "Hi. Who are you?" he asked. He cringed at his words, they seemed bold and unkind. He hoped that the she-cat didn't take it that way. She looked like a good warrior and he didn't want to offend her. He looked away from her briefly to the tom beside her. He didn't know him either.
Wingfoot saw the kit's stare but he didn't say anything. He was surprised that the little kit didn't know Bluebell. All the cats were so familiar to him, and he loved being among only them again. Being in TunderClan had been alright, but nothing beat being here - even when it was raining. He licked his bleeding shoulder remorsefully. How he wanted to get up and run across the wet field! But he couldn't not with this shoulder that hurt every time he stepped. He cursed it, but yet hte pain felt good as if he had actually helped bring WindClan home.
-
Koikit tilted her head at the sight of Easternkit."I'm Koikit, I was kitnapped by twolegs two moons ago.But I escaped when they tried turning me into a kittypet."she chirped.
-
Lunecry grinned, "yeah, Koikit, I remember you. Well, how do you like it here? In our real lands?" This would be the first time she was setting foot on them.
-
"Singed, but before the lighting fire killed mommy she told me flowers grew and spread like the fire that burned here once."chirped Koikit. But then her she laid her head down on her paws, ears drooping."I just wish my twin sister, Fawnkit and mommy were here to see this......"she stuttered, tears running down her face.
-
"I'm Bluebell, little on," Bluebell greeted gently. "I came out here and was attacked by an ocelot and a few other cats," she explained.
-
"Hey come on," Ochrepaw mewed, kneeling down next to Koikit. "Your family is watching you from StarClan now. THey must be so happy for you that you finally came home. And well... even though they're gone, you still have a whole other family here with you now. Your Clan." After a moment, Ochrepaw realised that he'd sounded sort of... deep. Shaking his head, he smiled again. "Sorry, that sounded kind of weird. It's true and all though. We're still here for ya."
