"Yes, she did," said Hailstone. "She and a few others ganged up on Dreamstar and me; I surrendered to save the lives of my kits and clanmates, but Dreamstar...she was killed, and then that monstrous kit was going to eat her. That's when I passed out and woke up later in the den where they were holding us. Dreamstar arrived perfectly healthy. So I guess that little monster didn't get his meal."

"Does that mean that ocelot has some bit of honor even those it killed and hurt both you and Ochrepaw?"asked Koikit, head tilting in confusion.
-

Ravenpelt nodded to Hallclaw. "Well, this is becoming quite a gathering," he remarked impassively, tail twitching back and forth. His lip twitched upwards in amusement at Blacksnake's generic greeting, tossed vaguely in Weaselfang's direction, and lay back across the rock with a sigh. He was half-tempted to start calling out things like, "Anyone need help? Anybody have work?" , but even he knew better than that.

-
Fireflight was quite amused by both Ravenpelt and Blacksnake, but he showed no sign of it outwardly. He had spent so long hunting with his brother, then so long mourning his passing, he hadn't really interacted much with his own clanmates. This was somewhat of a novel experience for him, and though he wished there was more he could do to help Winclan settle back home he was enjoying the company.
He nodded to Ravenpelt. "I suppose we don't see the entire clan out in the open at one time." He agreed. "There's so many of us when you put them all together." -
Hailstone was a little worried when the kit seemed to defend the ocelot. "No; nothing but adherence to her horrible leader, I'd say. She had that, but I don't call that honour in the least. She's a monster and that's pretty much all she is from what I saw; however that seems to suit Bloodclan just fine."
-
Hailclaw's lips curled back into a snarl. She'd never really heard much about BloodClan before. It was hard to think that some cats could be so ruthless. And joined into a clan was ever worse! Hailclaw was a bit bored, but their stories occupied her. She wanted to blurt out, asking what happened next, but she didn't want to seem rude; it was bad enough she was eavesdropping.
-
"Yeah...we should all be good and mad, and prepared," said Hailstone noticing her similarly named clanmate, whom she had never actualy met at all, with hackles raised. "We haven't seen the last of them."
-
"Oh, now I understand it better."purred Koikit."But will you be able to make it back to camp?"she asked Hailstone.
-

Ravenpelt nodded briefly. "Well, that's true of most Clans," he allowed dryly. "Just imagine seeing all of ThunderClan together." He shuddered theatrically, amber eyes dancing. He couldn't help but be good-humored; he was home! Finally! After what seemed like a year. "Plus the entire population of WindClan added to it... there must be, what, at least a thousand and a half cats." He grinned. "Big figures to deal with." He realized, looking around, that he recognized most of the cats. It wasn't that he technically knew them; but they were all familiar faces. Now that was something that could only arise of living a protected existence in a Clan your whole life. His tail lashed back and forth as he studied Blacksnake's face briefly.

-
"Yes, I think I'll be fine to get back to the camp, but thanks for asking...you're a thoughtful one." Hailstone purred. She began to get up to go.
ooc:This would lead into her already having arrived and gone to the elder den to talk with her sister. Theyre already over thre but Lunecry is still out here with Ochre.
-
"Should we go to camp too?" Ochrepaw asked, turning back to Lunecry. "We should probably see if there's any way we can help or something. The camp's definitely gonna need rebuilding..." He glanced off to where the camp was, which used to be hidden by gorse but was now dreadfully exposed. No wonder BloodClan had taken advantage of them so easily.
-
"Yes, I think we should, but can you manage?" Lunecry looked down at Ochrepaw with concern. She looked particularly at his wounds. He had been close to death not long ago.
-
"Um, I don't know," Ochrepaw admitted. He tried to rise, but instantly the pain flared up in his flank again. He instinctively dropped back down to the ground. Walking wasn't a good idea. He'd barely been able to get himself to the elder's den. "Maybe I should just sit here for a while."
-
"Then Ill stay too." Lunecry sat back down next to him. "Not like I mind anyway. It's...nice out here. I love the rain, you know." Actually she was not quite that crazy about the rain....unless Ochrepaw was in it with her.
-
"Thanks," Ochrepaw purred. "You've been so helpful to me. I really appreciate that." Sitting in the rain wasn't so bad as long as he wasn't alone. Lunecry had been such a good friend this whole time, and he couldn't help but notice that she made him feel different. Not like the way a mentor or a parent would. It wasn't something he was used to. Then again, he'd lost a lot of blood not too long ago. Maybe it was just in his head.
-
"Should I be getting back to camp?" Bluebell asked. She had listened to Koikit questioning Hailstone and Ochrepaw. She had a very clear picture of that monster now. Hopefully Dreamstar would double patrols and guards. She didn't want that thing getting into their territory again.
-
"Yeah, I'd say you should unless you want to hang out in the rain with us," purred Lunecry, as she lay down with her back against Ochrepaw's. Both of them were, by now, quite sodden.
-
Wingfoot hadn't moved, listening to the cats converse. He didn't want to remember the battle - it abhored him. His eyes blinked as he tried to block the images of blood and death and terror from his mind. Wingfoot let out a deep sigh. He got to his feet, "I'll come with you too Bluebell." He mewed.
Easternkit had been listening idly, playing with a fallen petal he had found stuck to his fur. It was probably from ThunderClan, it was nice there and Easternkit couldn't see why anyone would want to be here of all places. Camp? There was a camp in this weird place? Easternkit couldn't believe it. "Camp? I want to see it!" He said bounding to his paws happily.
-
"I'd walk if my legs were okay," Bluebell sighed. Ambrosiapaw had told her not to try to walk. Hopefully she would be able to move on her legs soon.

Ravenpelt absently ignored the pouring rain, and one would think he didn't notice it. Another warrior, however, seemed more conscious of it. Raindancer was trotting around with a grin on his face, revelling in the rain. He twisted around and leapt to catch droplets in his mouth, tail lashing from side to side. There was something childlike and pure - almost innocent - about his simple glee. He loved the rain, and he didn't care who watched.
