  • Rip nodded and started to stalk on the other side of Plumepelt. When he was in place, he flicked his tail, indicating to pounce.

  • Lei nodded and soundlessly began to stalk closer to the ShadowClanner. She nodded in repsonse to Rip and attempted to pounce on the ShadowClanner's back, claws unsheathed.

  • Plumepelt noticed when the cats leaped onto his back, successfully knocking him down and leaving him gasping for air. When the tom managed to scrambled to his paws and unsheathe his claws, he adopted a defensive stance, facing the two Elite trespassers. "Get away from here!" He said, voice wobbly and unconvincing. The fear shone in his eyes and how he held himself - head ducked low and shoulders turned together.

  • Lei gave a small snort of laughter. "You really need to learn how to get rid of trespassers," Lei said, quietly and menacingly. She began to slowly stalk towards the ShadowClan cat, an evil grin on her face. "See, I know for a fact that in WindClan they would give you a scar to keep you away. They would raise themselves confidently and tell you to leave or they would make sure you wouldn't come back. So, you see, you should really pick up a few tips," she growled and on the last note, she lunged for Plumepelt, claws unsheathed, eyes wild for revenge, and aiming for a death blow on the back of his neck.

  • Plumepelt was hurt by the cat's words. He had always been insecure about his abilities, and having a stranger put him down didn't help him at all. So when Lei lunged at him, he just barely had time to dodge the immediate killing blow, and wound up with a gash on the back of his neck. It was pink and began gushing blood immediately. Already he could feel himself start to go week, and a red vignette creeped up at the edges of his vision. "No... why..." He choked out, gasping and collapsing on the forest floor. He had two minutes to live, at best.

  • Rip smiled. [glow=red,2,300]"I'm going after his tail" [/glow]He whispered before stalking behind Plumepelt. He aimed to break the tail bone and rip the cats tail off.

  • With strength and life literally bleeding out of his neck, Plumepelt couldn't even lift a paw in defense for himself. The tom watched with crazy, hollow eyes as Rip clawed at his tail, shredding through skin and fur right down to the very bone. It lay there, barely attached, a mangled scrap of black fur. "Why..." Plumepelt choked out, literally gurgling on his own blood. The world was shifting in and out of black, and everything was going fuzzy. The forest switched from saturated greens and blues of the real world and what Plumepelt assumed could only be the silvery hue of Starpelt.

With a final gurgling shudder, the tom's life expired and he lay there, dead, eyes open wide in a death stare. It was an eerie sight, and one that would set even the strongest, the bravest, of cats on edge.

  • Rip shuddered slightly at the sight of Plumepelt. But he ripped the rest of Plumeprlt's tail off. He purred, knowing Capone would be happy.

  • As soon as Lei's claws delivered the gash, she jumped back frozen and watching Plumepelt. She watched as the life poured out of him with glassy, unseeing eyes. Except, she was seeing it, in a little too much detail. It was as if all her senses had been enhanced. She saw him try to struggle to keep his life, she smelled the blood that was continuously pouring out of him. The worst part, she heard his heart beating, she heard it get faster and faster, until it stuttered and stopped. She remained frozen there, not moving and wanting to leave but not able to bring herself to do it.

  • Lei didn't reply, she just stood in the same spot, staring at Plumepelt's body. She couldn't will herself to move and as she stared at the ShadowClan cat dead on the ground. Suddenly, everything changed, instead of in the dark, ShadowClan forest, she was in the open WindClan grassland.Instead of Rip and Plumepelt next to her, she was next to her old mate. Lei stalked silently and quickly through the grass, she saw a rabbit just a tail-length away and, with a grin, she launched herself onto it. She killed it swiftly with a quikc blow to the head and padded over to join her mate, her eyes, happy and light. For this was a different Lei, a much younger version of Lei. Her pelt was beautiful and groomed, no stress to make it ruffled, her eyes light and joyful and whenever on of her Clan looked into them, they would cheer right up. Everything about her was different, even her name. Instead of bearing the name 'Lei' it was 'Suncloud' a proud warrior of WindClan. She was very happy to be out and about after being cooped up in the nursery all day everyday but Cloudnight had promised to take care of them. She glanced over at her mate, Rabbitfoot and smiled. It was right then that everything went wrong, it was right then that her world fell apart. The breeze flew by and raising her nose, she could smell something bitter, it was a ways away so it took a while for her to recognize it but when she did, her and Rabbitfoot glanced at each other, fear in their eyes. They both dropped their prey and ran towards camp, towards the scent of ShadowClan. It was right outside that they met a small group of three ShadowClanners outside the entrance. The three smiled and lunged for her and Rabbitfoot. The two of them put up a fight and then, the ShadowClanners were gone. Lei glanced over at her mate and staggered backward to see that he had quite a few huge gashes across his side. She hurried oevr and leaned by him as the blood flowed out of his body. She didn't bother going and getting the medicine cat, it was already too late. She heard his breathing stutter and stop and lay there for a few moments before climbing shakily to her feet. She staggered into camp, quite a few new battle scars lining her pelt. Cloudnight immediately ran up to her, babling aimlessly, Lei didn't pay any attention and just padded on into the nursery, she had to see her kits and make sur ehtey were safe. She walked in and noticed the absence of them. She turned on Cloudnight and growled, "Where are my kits?" she demanded. Cloudnight's eyes were sad and now rather fearful. "The ShadowClanners raided us, they-they took the kits," she stuttered. She was the only other one that had been in the nursery and that was because she was bearing kits. Lei nodded and padded out without saying anything to Cloudnight. Later that night, the Clan leader called a meeting and droned on about how they had suffered terrible losses today. Lei just stared blankly at him as he went on and on then dismissed them. She padded wearily into the warrior's den adn settled down but didn't sleep. No one approached and after a while she could hear the steady sound of their breathing. When she was sure veryone was asleep, she soundlessly left the den adn sneaked out of camp. Soon, she was out of her own territory, she ran into a loner who asked what her name was. "Sun-I mean, Lei," she said, thinking of the name on the spot. The loner nodded but didn't say anything else. She continued traveling until she found herself on the Elite's territory. She left WindClan and she never looked back.

  • Lei started to mew 'yeah' back at Rip but instead it came out as a stuttering no. She had slipped out of her flash-back and could now see the dead body of Plumepelt in front of her. She shivered and turned away from it and from Rip. "I-I just need to get out of here," she whispered so quietly that Rip would have to strain to hear. She then pelted off in the opposite direction, back the way they had come, not bothering to try and be quiet but just trying to run away from not only the body, but also from her past.

  • Lei stopped suddenly as soon as she was inside the Elite border. She turned to face Rip, her eyes hollow and-well-a little bit scared. "I-It was n-nothing," she stuttered nervously. "I-I just needed to g-get away."

  • Lei whipped her head around to face Rip, suddenly angry. "Oh! You're one to talk! I wouldn't be surprised if every word you've ever said to me was a complete lie! And if you must know, that was the first cat I k-killed," she said, her anger fading away at the word 'killed'. "And if you must know the full story, I was raised in WindClan but ShadowClan attacked our camp and killed my mate and took my kits. I was raised to not kill another cat unless absolutely necessary. This wasn't necessary, this was driven out of revenge." She then looked away, not meeting Rip's eyes.

  • Rip felt himself to feel pity for Lei.[glow=red,2,300] "I lived with the Eclipse Tribe..." [/glow]He mewed quietly. [glow=red,2,300]"I was in love, with a she-cat named Cassie, her dad was an insane killer, and my mentor. He taught me to kill to feel no mercy. So I did what he said."[/glow] Rip met Lei's eyes. [glow=red,2,300]"I killed Cassie's mom. She never forgave me." [/glow]He felt his eyes blurr with a slight tear. He shook his head sadly.[glow=red,2,300] "I loved her so much, we grew up together and I didn't want to do it but her dad said he'd kill Cassie if I didn't and I knew he would, I made that mistake and i have to live with it."[/glow] He sighed deeply, is eyes sticky and wet. His love with Cassie was real, and it could never be regained.

OOC: Getting this started again :)

  • Lei looked down, suddenly feeling sorry for Rip, huh, that was a new one. "I'm sorry," she murmured quietly, not knowing what else to say.
