• (Danny is my second favourite.)

Ashlee bit her bottom lip as she pounded on Rhys' door. She should have called, she know. But he continued doing this, it makes the little brunette's heart break.

  • "Come in," he called from his position on the couch. His voice was hoarse and sleep ridden. In the course of the night he hadn't managed to snag much more than a wink of sleep last night. Instead once he had managed to walk back to this tiny apartment his mind continued to keep running on and on.

    [Fair enough. ^^ ]

  • Ashlee gasped at the sight of her best friend, "Oh Rhys..... How many times have I told you that Street fighting would get you into trouble." She said before walking inside the kitchen to get the first aid kit. "Yet.... You never listen." She said as she sighed.

  • He had the kid caught in the cookie jar look on his face."You know me," he attempted to add humor to the situation although it only made his head feel worse. A small groan escaped his lips in the midst of it all. "Selective hearing and all. When you come back can you close the curtain?" He grumbled.

  • Ashlee sighed as she came back with the kit and made him lie down. She stood up and closed the curtain to make it dark, "Yes I know you too well." She said as she sat beside him on his bed and took out the antiseptic. "You normally go fighting whenever you're short of money or you're high on emotion." She said as she dabbed on his wounds.

  • Rhys didn't comment on the matter knowing how much trouble he was already bound to be in. Instead he stressed another matter completely. "Thank you for coming," he mumbled trying not to winced at the feel of the antiseptic on his injuries. His voice cracked though he quickly dismissed it. "What time is it?"

  • Ashlee sighed as she took out a string and needle. She started to stitch the wounds together, "It's about 9 in the morning." She said as she focused on stitching. She first started learning how to stitch and about First Aid when Rhys told her about his 'job'. Needless to say, she had thought that he would need it one day. And that day has come.

  • A few choices words flew out of his mouth as she started to sow away. If he hadn't been the one being worked on he would have been rather impressed. But circumstances being he found himself cursing like a sailor. "You could at least warned me," he snapped snapping his eyes shut.

  • Adhlee blinked as she looked up to stare at Rhys. "Oh really? I am so 'sorry'." She snapped back, she was angry and a bit disappointed at Rhys. She knew that Rhys was troubled and she was hurt that he didn't tell her anything.

  • Rhys moved to send a questioning look in her direction. It seemingly took a lot to make his best friend mad and some how he had pushed her that far. "Excuse me?" He snapped. "I fail to see how what in the hell tour problem is." This was one of the very few times he could remember angering the brunette.

  • Ashlee's hands stopped completely as she sighed with frustration and threw the needle and thread onto the box. "My problem is that my best friend is clearly in trouble and he didn't told me anything!" She exclaimed before she glared at him. "Don't say that you don't. I know whenever you're troubled." She said sofyly as her expression softened before hardening. "But apparently since he doesn't trust me or anything, he can find me at home!" She snapped. This was one of the few times where the youngest Winters was angry at her best friend, she huffed as she kept her tears in and walked off to the door.

  • "Wait," his voice was just above a whisper, tiny and fragmented. He didn't want to be left alone. "Wait," he pushed himself up slowly limping towards Ashlee. The world had begun to spin through his vision. Rhys continued towards her despite it latching onto solid objects with his right hand. "Please, don't leave me." His emotions leaked through showing just how broken he felt. Without her he would have been lost. He couldn't make it on his own. Everything in his life had somehow always found an orbit around her even when he had been dating Jen. "I'm sorry, Ash, please, just don't leave me."

  • Ashlee heard him limping as she turned around and immediately, her angry expression turned into a worried one. She quickly rushed towards him and made him sit on his sofa. "Rhys..... You should never hurt yourself for a girl, even if that girl is me." She said as she sat beside him. She could hear the sadness in his voice and it broke the brunette's heart in two. She didn't know that she meant this much to the raven haired boy.

  • "Please don't leave," he murmured once more leaning into her. He couldn't deal with being alone. His world had finally come crashing down and she was the only one who could help restore it to what it once had been. His voice cracked and before he could stop tears had already begun to make their escape down his cheeks. He advice was too late. She was one of the only things he had left in the world.

  • Ashlee sighed as she made his head lie on her shoulder and she pat his black head. "Shhhhhh........ Cry it all out, let the tension escape." She said. She had enough of crying already, she just learnt that she has to move on. "Sorry for snapping at you....... You can tell when you are comfortable with telling me." She said as she kissed his head.

  • He ensnared her in his arms not willing to let her go just yet. Even when the tears were done he left his arms snaked around her and his head on her shoulder. Eyes clamped shut he slowly nodded once into her shoulder, "Thank you," His voice was muffled by cloth. "I'm sorry for being an a.s."

  • Ashlee chuckled as she patted his back, "Don't worry. Guys are supposed to be arses." She said befor her eyes brightened, "I have an idea that might cheer you up!" She said as she smiled down at Rhys.

  • "What?" He grumbled. In all honesty he wasn't sure whether the be excited or to be worried about said idea. He some times came up with wackadoodle and other times they were Ashlee's. Then again it tended to mainly be his own that were a bit off kilter from the rest of the world.

  • Her name made his heart drop. "How about just the two of us instead?" Rhys glanced at her before averting his puffy gaze. "Jen isn't welcome around here any more," he uttered. In fact it sounded like it would be fun with Ash and himself.
