    "Welcome to misery at its finest," the seral said, his normally tone-dead voice laden with rich layers of loathing and sarcasm. Some would say he was not being himself. Four would argue that he was quite the opposite- he was finally fitting into his own skin, per se. He had to admit, the welcome to misery thing was pretty cheesy, but he could care less.


    The rosette serval eased down onto his sore haunches. While battling all day yesterday had no doubt been a fun thing, it sure came back to kick him in the ass. His body was covered in bites and scratches, some swollen from improper dressing, some hastily covered in cobwebs, some scabbed and some reopened and oozing blood. The serval paid them no notice, though, because if he could leave his whipping scars to heal naturally without catastrophe he would be fine now.

    "Nice job, Lady." The wolf smiled as she came over. There was an abundance of captures lately, raids included. As Chelsea looked at Four, she felt a pang of worry. 'He looks like complete shit.'

    Shiftingallegiances only thoughts were on escape. She was not particuarlly strong, nor very good at fighting, but she was fast. If she tried to escape here and now she figured she easily out run the injured Four, her captor and the wolf might be more troubeling, but she figured that they to could be outrun. Plus, she had spiked gaunlets on her forlegs to help her fight should it come to it. She could to that or make a pact. Best to start out small then run if you have to, she thought.

    Shiftingallegiances made her decision then and there, run. The scarred snow leopardress bolted. Dodging out of the way to the saber-cats teeth. Luckily it was winter, and her pelt, Shiftingallegiance's, hid well umon the snow. Now her only thing to do was just hope that her captor didn't have any super vision stuff.
