    He bounded after her, his yellow claws kicking up dirt. Karkat flew past her like lightning.

    "BETTER HURRY!" he yelled, laughing like a madman. Karkat slowed, putting on his best grumpy face.

    she tripped. with a shriek, she went tumbling and slid across the ground, and went she stopped skidding about, she was still.

    He froze, a look of horror plastered across his face. "OH GOG NO.."

    she limped back to him. there was a scratch on her shoulder and her cheek. "see? it's fine." she attempted to laugh.

    He frowned, carefully rubbing his black nose on the scratch to see if she flinched.

    He laid next to her, and began grooming the female's fur, trying to comfort her.

    "WHATEVER," he snorted, but still let her nuzzle him.
