Ivyleaf nodded gratefully and sank her teeth into the mouse. It must have been caught a while ago, She thought as she chewed her first bite, It's a bit cold... but I really love the taste of mouse! She excitedly swallowed and held the mouse at both ends. "You can have the next bite. It's polite to try and avoid eating the same area as the cat you're sharing with."

Ivyleaf shook her head. "I haven't had a chance. He was born just abut a few days after you were appointed my apprentice," She took another bite of the mouse and looked back to the apprentice, swallowing before she continued. "I beet he's beautiful. Both of his parent's are such attractive cats..." She flicked her tail tip and closed her eyes. Should I have said that? I don't want to seem weird...I hope she doesn't take that the wrong way... She looked back up at the apprentice and started again. "H-Have you seen him yet?"

Sparrowstar shook his head "That would do no good...they wouldnt give me anymore than what i already have." He sighed before licking Silvermist's cheek "Dont worry Silvermist...me and Sparrowheart will decipher the prophecy before it is full-filled." He assured.

"Okay..." Silvermist murmured, then leaned towards Mintkit to lick his pelt backwards, just as she did to keep him warm when he was born...

Mintkit squirmed under her warm,bristly tongue. He let out a tiny mewl and squirmed away from her tongue not wanting to be groomed that way.
Sparrowstar watched as Silvermist groomed Mintkit backwards. He smiled at the kit's liveliness and chuckled as Mintkit tried to escape his mother's tongue.

Silvermist pouted "Hush, little one... you'll catch a cold if you don't keep warm..." She pulled him back by the scruff of his neck. "Your fur isn't thick enough yet to shield you from harsh winds..."

Mintkit mewled and mewled wanting his mother to stop. His pitiful tiny mewls grew louder and louder with each touch of Silvermists's tongue.
Sparrowstar chuckled "He really doesnt like that..." He joked with a small smile. The kits mewls made him feel a bit bad for the tiny kit who was unable to do anything else but mewl at what he didnt want.

She sighed. "Fine fine... but you have to stay close to me so you don't get sick..." Again, she grabbed him by the scruff and pulled him in front of her, letting him lay in her paws and in front of her chest.

She heard mewls of protest coming from the nursery and her ears swiveled in the direction it came from. She turned her head and became curious. They soon died down but that didn't stop her from wondering why it started in the first place. She padded over to the den that smelled of milk and popped her head in to see Silvermist, Mintkit, and Sparrowstar. Silentflight tilted her head to the left in a questioning manner. Since she didn't talk she used her movement and actions as her words. Thankfully, the clan soon figured out what her actions, movements, and gestures meant. Silenflight looked from Mintkit to Silvermist as if asking her why he had being mewling in protest.Venomheart;;
The beautiful young warrior padded back into camp with a squirrel, two voles, and a mouse. The black and white she-cat dropped the prey with the other fresh kill and saw Silentflight pad toward the Nursery. Venomheart watched her for a second before walking over toward the Medicine cats den. She had a thorn in her paw and it hurt like heck. I won't show the others i'm in pain. OW! She thought and angrily hissed at herself. With each step on her front left paw the dang thing hurt her more. -
Sparrowheart sat in her den organizing her herbs in a specific order. She moved and shifted them contantly in an attempt to make then look neater.
Sparrowstar looked at Silentflight and smiled "Hello Silentflight. Sorry for the mewling...Silvermist was trying to groom Mintkit to keep him wamr but Mintkit didnt like that very much..." He said with a slight chuckle.
Mintkit squirmed close to his mother's chest and purred,he pawed at her fluffy chest with his tiny pink padded paws.

The young warrior chuckled lightly and put her head straight again. She bowed her head to the leader and turned. She flicked her tail to say goodbye and walked off. She saw Venomheart, who looked like she was in pain, heading for the medicine cat's den. I wonder if something happened while she was out. The pretty she-cat thought but didn't care to investigate.Venomheart;;
When the black and white she-cat reached the medicine cat's den she sat down and began licking her paw around where the thorn was. It was in deep. "Yo! Sparrowheart, you in here?!" She called, hoping she was. Even without the pressure the thorn hurt. -
Sparrowheart turned to look at Venomheart "Yeah! Im in here! What do you need?" She asked. She stood up and walked to Venomheart with a warm smile.

"Are you blind?" She growled and shoved her paw in her face. "Get this thing out." She told her, becoming impatient. -
Sparrowheart sighed "Well when you put it thay way...no." She said turning to walk away. She wasnt going to put up with Venomheart's rudeness today,she was very tired and hungry.
