Kidd had been back within the Skulls territory few days now. All in all he was happy to return to his crew or clan, however he saw them. He was quite a nuisance as always, especially within the mansion. He tore around the place like it were a jungle gym or a horse race. Walking in good manner didn’t seem to come from him. Every time the tom had to go somewhere within the mansion walls it was always at a break-neck speed. It was also best nothing got in his path. Clanmate, table, or vase nothing was safe and would be jostled aside or broken if possible. He run from his guest bedroom within the mansion to the kitchen for a snack and back to his room and he’d do it over and over, even in the middle of the night.

Now, his paws thumped upon the wood floors of the large house and his claws skidded as turned a corner to dash into a small study at the back wing of the house. He liked to think of the room as his secret room. He’d never seen anyone in it and it was back almost hidden within the massive building. The grey-blue feline leapt onto a plush armchair and lounged on his back. His scratchy giggle could be heard faintly from the study. He thought running through the mansion was classically funny and a better and fun way to get around.

  • Ametrinekit had found herself pacing the worn floors of the mansion with silent footsteps, nearly indistinguishable from the various shadows cast themselves; too bad she stuck out like a sore thumb in the daylight with such monochrome fur. Yet a cacophony of thumps and scratching had roused her from her thoughts, and the little kitten had found herself creeping towards its source with a hint of grumpiness lacing her tone as she called out. "What-..." She began only to be cut short as she saw no one within sight, even upon entering the usually populated corridors. Frowning slightly, the kit began to trot as she rounded the corner, only to inhale sharply as she caught a glimpse of the study- and Kidd within it. Ammy, you see, had a habit of shying from such interaction, mostly since most looked upon her while only taking her child-like features into account. However, her paws had found a creaky floorboard as she attempted to creep from the scene, and stood rigid while praying she had not been heard. She wasn't even sure if she was allowed to be in the area, considering her usual confinements to the lower levels.

Kidd’s giggling suddenly ceased at the noise of the crrreak, probably much to Ametrine’s horror. Kidd heard these kinds of creaks and groans all throughout the building. The tom was suspicious of ghosts or spirits he could not see. His single eye widened and he glanced around the study, wearing a tiny frown. He caught a glimpse of darkly colored fur through the crack in study door which he had passed through just a few minutes before. He squinted and realized it was a kit. Just a small youngster. She seemed to be nervous. The buccaneer stared at the kitten through the opening in the door and flashed her a wide toothy grin. He held up a stocking covered foreleg and gestured by curling his paw towards him. He would see if this little fur ball was brave or not. Even though Kidd didn’t see himself often as frightening or something to be brave about, but he usually saw himself however he wanted.

  • The kitten turned her head ever so slightly to the side as to view Kidd in her peripheral vision; she was unsure if wild animals roamed these halls, and she would surely be a bite sized meal if the scenario were to ever arise. Upon witnessing his wolffish grin, the onyx fem was unsure as to whether or not she was relieved to know it was a Skulls member, or terrified of his beckoning to join him. Swallowing the urge to turn tail and sprint to her father's den, Ammy met the Skull's gaze without flinching, and with effort trudged towards him whilst keeping her fur flat. "I haven't seen you before." She managed to mew, forcing a weak grin as to combat his own. Were all adults this horrifying when they caught a curious kit? "I-I'm Ametrinekit." Her voice had managed to strengthen, but silently cursed her stuttering for exposing such fear she had bore of discovery.
